A welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and a typically mountain setting are the hallmarks of this bar in the heart of Bormio. From breakfast to dinner, but especially for an aperitif, it's a recommended stop.

Lovely bar in Santa Caterina, the gelato is great value (get the 7,50€ 0,5 litre tub!) and the atmosphere is great after a days skiing. They have pool and darts.

31/05/2026: It's there in March, everything is delicious, very warm hospitality, real Italian food from the heart, worth a stop if you are on your way to a ski vacation or just traveling
28/04/2026: Hotel Franca is a simple 3-star hotel with traditional Valtellina furnishings, warm rooms and beds, a lovely waterfall shower, and excellent food at dinner. The reception staff is very organized and prompt. They also have an annex behind the hotel with additional rooms.
