22/07/2025: Well, I went because they told me it was great. I ordered a cappuccino and a jam croissant. First of all, the croissants weren't on display; they were hidden under the counter in front of the coffee machine, which was strange. So he made me a cappuccino that was practically a latte macchiato. The croissant (or whatever it's called) with large granulated sugar on top was not very sweet and not very topped, I'd say the standard base of any bar-pastry shop. So, nothing special, certainly a historic place that thrives on history.

08/09/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing because of multiple unresolved plumbing problems. At one point, the shower and sink water turned brown, making it impossible to shower or even brush our teeth in the room. While we were initially given access to another room to shower, our own toilet flushed nonstop and made it very difficult to sleep. Later, the same issues persisted but we were not provided with an alternative room, even though I understand that other guests were accommodated. By the end of the stay, while the shower was finally fixed, the toilet was completely broken and unusable. For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better.

09/08/2025: Very nice, clean hotel! City center within walking distance, breakfast is plentiful and very delicious! I recommend it!!

06/09/2025: A shocking rip-off. The pizza is an average thin crust, with average ingredients. But 2x-3x than prices elsewhere. 25 euro for a pizza, 4 euro for coperto, 12 euro for an amaro. Service is friendly, but not up to the price levels. The environment looks like a Swiss alps self-service from the 70s. Will I go back? Never. Will I recommend it to friends? Never. STAY AWAY.

01/09/2025: We just came for an aperitivo...I'd say the place has improved since last time, welcoming and pleasant, especially this time of year. The pizzas are a nice idea, and they're also good, and the beer prices are reasonable.

07/09/2025: The large terrace with plants and fairy lights is lovely for an aperitif. Drinks are €10, spritz is €7. They serve crisps as an aperitif.

10/08/2025: I love this place, especially because I've spent so many wonderful moments there with friends. The outdoor terrace is truly delightful in the warmer months, with its lights and romantic atmosphere: perfect for a date. I even once went there for a party in the lower area, where the skylight is located. It's a spacious and elegant space, perfect for a larger party.

27/08/2025: Everything was so nice and pleasant. The staff is really hardworking and keeps the place as clean as possible. The music aswell is amazing and keeps the atmosphere astronomical.

22/08/2025: I didn't try the food, but the Aperol was excellent, and they also offer a decent selection of snacks with the drinks. The place has a great bar atmosphere with good music, perfect for conversation.

17/08/2025: I've been at least three times. Once with a group of kids. A lovely place, both in summer and winter on the internal veranda. The food is excellent, homemade and basic, but truly delicious. Among the wines, the Gavi is excellent. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: This place is terribly managed and quite expensive. A while back, there was a very nice guy who made an effort to provide good service. Last time, despite there being more people there, we found flies and mosquitoes everywhere, dirty tables, terrible service, and a mess piled up in the bins. I strongly advise against going unless absolutely necessary.

14/08/2025: After many years living abroad, returning to Italy means rediscovering the flavors I grew up with – and this restaurant delivered them perfectly. The pasta was handmade, the sauces rich and full of depth, and the desserts… simply heavenly. The warm, genuine hospitality reminded me why Italian dining is so special. A meal here is not just food – it’s a piece of home.

13/08/2025: From the moment we entered we were looked down and treated as tourists (I am Italian, born and raised in Milan but my partner is Australian so we were speaking in English). We are both sommeliers and were so excited to try some great wines but the staff treated us as we knew nothing about wines and only gave us the by the glass list, assuming we were only another couple of cheap tourist. The service was so inattentive, we had to ask multiple times for water, and to order food. Luckily we met the head sommelier Emanuele who was the only nice, kind and friendly staff member and turned our experience in the end to a pleasant one. Great wine list if you get the chance to see it. Great atmosphere, the salumi selection was also pretty good. Such a pity the bad service because this place is an institution.

29/04/2025: I went to the place to look for special beer, I couldn't find anything for sale anymore... I don't know the reasons.

20/07/2025: I organized an aperitif with 15 friends. The place was welcoming, the service impeccable, and the food was excellent. The owner was very courteous and professional.
