20/06/2024: What can I say... A restaurant found by chance on Maps. A restaurant without too many pretensions as it should be. The place is very nice, especially inside, the courtyard a little less so, but despite everything it does its job. The first perception, in addition to the friendliness of the staff, is the tranquility of the place. The homemade dishes are plentiful (starter excluded, which will however be compensated by the first and second course). Truly top salami. First try the calamarata from the club, which I particularly liked, and then an honest roast beef. The fried seafood, which unfortunately I didn't try, looked really inviting. My conclusion is: Despite some of the dishes being boring, if you want to eat home-style cooking (grandmother style) with interesting ideas and without too much elaboration, leaving you full, this is the right place. The price is adequate for the offer. Feeling almost like home, I can say that I will probably return for a second test.

09/06/2024: Pure goodness. Fish starter, mixed fried fish and vegetables, water, wine, dessert and coffee. Professional and very kind staff Really recommended. At 12.00 have lunch at the Circolino and at 2.30 pm visit the castle. Here is the menu for an interesting Sunday.

17/07/2024: Typical trattoria of the past, there is not a wide choice but better a few good dishes than many bad ones. The food is cooked with care like at home and you find flavors that you will certainly never find in the latest generation restaurants. Very kind staff, it seems like they've always known you even if you're eating there for the first time. Worth a stop.

09/07/2024: Spacious room both inside and on the outdoor patio!!!! Fast and friendly service!!! Good food!!! Possibility of parking in the immediate vicinity. Positive experience, for a quick stop and with genuine flavours, highly recommended!!! Congratulations to all the staff!!!

27/07/2024: Tried it during the lunch break. Good choice from the menu. The food was good and the service was good too. I know the fish is very good. Good value for money.

08/06/2024: It's a really simple place. Rustic, from other times. Obtained by fixing up an old stable, it takes you back in time. A place where you feel welcomed with benevolence, with the simplicity and cheerfulness of good people who work hard and are still happy with what they do. The wine is good, but really good.. It is a wine that is not "worked" much, because it must be good to drink and must not make you feel bad. Well done, well done, well done. Too bad they can't serve food. But yes you can find home-made eggs, honey, apples and vegetables. A place that is worth a visit, even just to see how many people go there to meet and chat while drinking a good glass of wine

25/07/2024: Spontaneously had lunch. Despite the language barrier, everything worked, the food was great and the great espresso at the end rounded everything off. Service friendly and attentive.

30/06/2024: True joy to discover the existence of places linked to flavors and environments carried forward with passion by 85! Eighty-five !! years of tradition. It is no coincidence that the Via Francigena passes alongside us. Thanks Renato! We will definitely come back to visit you, perhaps this time wrapped in the fog of the "low".

20/06/2024: Nulla di artefatto o "falso antico". Veramente un salto di 50 anni fà, sia per il locale che per i piatti cucinati. Un' atmosfera e sapori della nostra tradizione quasi introvabili sul nostro territorio. Se poi vi capita di scambiare due parole col titolare... storie di vite vissute affascinanti.

28/06/2024: Pleasant surprise....nice place with very good, attentive and precise service. Good quality raw materials cooked optimally. Price slightly high but it's worth it considering the excellent dinner. Congratulations to all.
