12/08/2024: Honestly, I don't rate the food and the service because I didn't even eat there, I couldn't due to the infinite rudeness of the person who answered the phone. Once I discovered that the place was very crowded, I was about to ask if it was possible to book when the phone hung up on me. Honestly I will NEVER even go there, as long as this management is there. Then maybe I had bad luck and had a bad day, or perhaps the line went dead at that moment, but the fact is that he seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me so I think everything adds up. Small clarification, restaurateurs, even without coming there you can write a review, because the experience with a business, especially with technology nowadays, also consists of the approach to the premises, the education and preparation of the employees, etc. ...
14/07/2024: The pizza was good but I didn't like the service. Too hasty in liquidating ourselves in the end... the environment was not very welcoming.. I would like to go back to taste the fish but not on a Saturday evening..

09/01/2024: Small family-run shop with 2/3 tables, present for years in Lodivecchio. I have always had the kebab sandwich which, in my opinion, is the absolute best of those I have tasted. I see a lot of people going out with takeaway pizzas, I deduce that the pizzas are also good. The service, done by the eldest son, is very tender, the child will be around 10 years old..

06/06/2024: At "La Matta" you always feel good because there is still the taste of home and good things. The staff is always approachable, helpful, friendly, cheerful, always making you feel among friends and at ease.
The food is really of excellent quality. I often get takeaway pizzas here and they are among my favorites in Lodi and the surrounding area. But it's also worth trying as a restaurant: I'm generally a bit afraid of eating fish, but the grilled meat they served us (you see it in the photo) was really well preserved, no strange smell or aftertaste, roasted very well, everything done with care and attention and average prices (the whole grill, for example, €20). Even the most classic dishes proved to have excellent flavor (see pasta in the photo), balance and truly generous portions. Highly recommended place, if you are nearby and you are hungry, you can't miss the opportunity.

Il cibo era buono, non superlativo, ma la cosa che non quadra è che il locale è catalogato nella categoria di quelli economici.

28/07/2024: Posizione buona, vicino tangenziale, qualità discreta del cibo, camerieri veloci e precisi senza tanti fronzoli, ambiente accogliente e informale, prezzo fate voi , due antipasti di pesce, due pizze, un primo e due secondi di cui uno di pesce, due acque una birra media, 4 caffè, 120€ per 4 persone

06/07/2024: We went last night: three mothers and seven children: accustomed to another restaurant in the area with a play area that was closed for holidays, we tried this one a bit by chance.
What to say? Highly positive experience!
The pizza was delicious and with fast service. Excellent prices! For 24 euros, if you want, they can make you a menu with appetizer with mixed cured meats, pizza of your choice, drink, dessert and coffee. Price more than fair! Really good homemade desserts, including the Sicilian cannoli, which is difficult to try.
The waiter who served us was kind and genuinely friendly with the children.
The play area is not very large but well maintained and is a lifesaver for mothers.
Children are full of enthusiasm and enthusiasm, as we know, makes noise: so obviously you hear noise in any case, even when the children behave well... It's physiological and it's no one's fault! 🙂 A possible improvement could be to put a sliding door in the room where the children's games are but it's fine as it is! Everything went great and we had a great time! And above all... you eat well and spend less than the "competition"!
Mom approved! We will definitely be back!
