12/10/2025: Perfect wedding! A fantastic location run by wonderful people. The first time we stayed at Nuovo Bosco, it was for a wedding, and we fell in love with it so much that we decided to get married here ourselves. From our first meeting, we appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff who manage the estate. Excellent food, impeccable organization, what more could we say? We highly recommend it, whatever your needs (wedding, first communion, birthdays).

You can immediately sense the owner's dedication, as he meticulously takes care of every detail, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Special praise goes to the bartenders: professional, precise, and capable of transforming technique and experience into top-quality cocktails; just watching them is captivating. The cocktail menu, explained with passion and expertise by the owner, offers a varied selection to satisfy every taste; you're sure to find something you like. The aesthetics of the place are also impeccable: a refined atmosphere consistent with the style, which contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, a truly successful place, managed with professionalism and passion. Kudos to the bartenders and the owner, you really do a great job.

02/10/2025: Amazing find! Lovely couple providing superb wines, food and atmosphere. An alfresco terrace at the end of a tunnelled (with stairs) wine cellar. A delightful experience.

08/10/2025: They welcomed us with a table for eight at the last minute on a Sunday, when we were looking for a quick stop on the way home, and they adapted some dishes to make me a vegan version. The chestnut flour pasta with mushrooms was delicious. But everyone else said all the dishes were excellent. Excellent service and a very pleasant place. The prices may not be cheap, but it's still worth a visit.

28/09/2025: I've gotten takeout pizza twice, and both times, upon arrival, I noticed they'd gotten the order wrong. The first time, they added mozzarella when asked to remove it, and on another occasion, they didn't add it when no changes were requested. The change had been requested for someone with lactose intolerance. Luckily, we had no problem swapping the two pizzas, as there were no other intolerances. However, the second time, the mozzarella wasn't removed from a pizza when requested. This time, the request wasn't for intolerance, but for a diet, even though the pizzeria had noted the change. Despite this, the pizza is still very good. However, if you're ordering takeout, please check that the order is correct. I hope this helps both the people who order and the pizzeria to be a little more careful.

06/08/2025: Looking for a place to grab a pizza before a show, we came across this pizzeria, which is mainly a takeout spot. The small place allows you to eat in, but seating is limited. Anyway, they served us an excellent pizza with quality ingredients, all clearly displayed in the pizza maker's display case, and a dough that I had no trouble digesting (which isn't always a given). Maybe not for a pizza night, but for takeout, absolutely recommended.

05/08/2025: Uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai mangiato a mani bassi. Fortunatamente ero ospite, ma i prezzi per i menù degustazione sono assolutamente alla portata di (quasi) tutti! Al di la del cibo che era sensazionale, la cosa che più ci ha colpito è stata la professionalità dei giovani in sala. Un servizio stellato, ma con una leggerezza che fa sentire a proprio agio nonostante il livello della ristorazione. Veramente complimenti! (Carta vini molto interessante!)

27/07/2025: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di tornare alla Trattoria Contemporanea di Lomazzo per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, e devo dire che è stata una piacevole conferma di quanto già avevamo apprezzato in passato. L’atmosfera è accogliente e raffinata, perfetta per un’occasione speciale come questa. Il personale è sempre gentile e attento, rendendo il momento ancora più speciale. La cucina, come sempre, è deliziosa: piatti curati, sapori autentici e presentazioni eleganti. È stato davvero un modo splendido per celebrare il nostro anniversario, e sicuramente torneremo ancora per rivivere questa esperienza così piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria a chi cerca un luogo intimo e di qualità a Lomazzo!

20/09/2025: A remarkable experience at this trattoria, discovered by chance, where I will definitely return. The fixed-price menu offers a range of typical lake dishes, starting with the exquisite appetizer of chub pâté and carpione-marinated missoltino, continuing with the intensely flavored shad with grilled polenta, and culminating with the delicate perch with rice sautéed in butter and sage. I couldn't miss the local cheese tasting, and I found the artisanal crème caramel impeccable, with the egg flavoring recognizable. Including water and a good dry white wine, as well as coffee and a light limoncello, we spent less than €50 each. The experience is crowned by professional, welcoming yet unobtrusive service. The secret is revealed when you visit the dining room, where you discover that the owner has over 50 years of experience, many of which spent in the finest hotels throughout Europe. The restaurant is located just steps from the pier and also offers a splendid lakeside garden. Perfect for those arriving by boat, it requires a bit of exercise if you're arriving by car, though private parking is available. Not to be missed

16/09/2025: A great experience, a magical little place from another era where you can sample traditional lakeside cuisine. If you arrive on foot, you'll have to climb a few stone steps through a small village to the lake. The staff were truly friendly and attentive.

13/10/2025: We're here for the Crotti festival, to eat the typical specialties offered on the set menu. We booked a table two weeks ago. Of the two first courses offered, one wasn't available at all, the other only had five portions. There were 12 of us. The only alternative offered was a paltry pasta dish: penne with ragù. The five pizzoccheri were also terrible. The second course was nothing special, and the desserts were even worse. I would have appreciated at least a few words from the manager to apologize for the mix-up, but nothing. Never again 😩

13/10/2025: The food was good, though not exceptional. The service also had a few small flaws that were a bit off-putting. The atmosphere was charming.

14/10/2025: Had a lovely lunch at Tipi Tipici in Como! The penne arrabbiata and scaloppini were delicious, the staff were friendly, and the meal was very good value. Highly recommend!
