01/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve at this pizzeria 😕 but unfortunately a big disappointment 🫤 and I won't go into the data given to him for the sake of a pizzeria! Ehhhh - Courses - first and second arrive cold - price of more than 200 eur for dinner undoubtedly does not match the quality of the food (on the photos)! Certainly not to return. The only impeccable thing was the staff - very kind but this is not enough.

02/01/2025: Very particular place, cats reign supreme (obviously in figurines and paintings). Excellent food and fantastic owner. If I return to this country, I will definitely go to this place again. We had a first course (buckwheat tagliolini with sausage and spring onion) and a second course (duck with orange with polenta), all excellent!

12/11/2024: …mi sono fermata per caso in questo locale!!…di passaggio in questo zona…ho chiesto dove era possibile mangiare lo spiedo fatto bene!!…e mi è stato fatto il nome di questo ristorante poco lontano da Toscolano Maderno!!…in collina!!…in località Gaino!!…è “Osteria ai Cantagai”!!…la location si trova in una posizione fantastica!!…pace e tranquillità!!…locale semplice ma veramente intimo e accogliente!!…molto gentile la signora e la ragazza che lavorano in sala!!…dopo avere fatto l’aperitivo ci siamo seduti al tavolo!!…e poi è arrivato lo spiedo!!…con la polenta!!…le patate e insalata mista!!…il tutto accompagnato da acqua e vino rosso!!…poi il sorbetto e a seguire il caffè!!…la signora ha gentilmente offerto il limoncello!!…che chiaramente ho apprezzato molto!!…che dire!!…lo spiedo era veramente eccezionale!!…cotto al punto giusto!!…tutto ben curato!!…come pure i contorni!!…ma che bontà!!…e tornerò sicuramente di nuovo in questa “Osteria ai Cantagai”!!…poco lontano da Toscolano Maderno!!…🧑‍🍳🍽️🔝💯‼️

05/01/2025: I ate very well. On Sundays, skewer with polenta, 1 ossobuco with risotto and a nice well-made mixed salad to share. Everything perfect, 5 stars. But half a liter of bulk wine at €13.5 seemed a little too expensive. However, I highly recommend it. Total expense in 2 €60

14/01/2025: A wonderful discovery. Friendly staff. A la carte menu and possibility to choose menu of the day. Very fast in service. While waiting for the ferry we managed to have lunch in half an hour. Super recommended.

24/12/2024: Di passaggio a Tuscolano abbiamo fatto tappa per il pranzo. Scelto su internet il giudizio su questa che è qualcosa in più di una semplice trattoria è positivo. Locale pulito, buono il servizio e di qualità la cucina che propone anche dei fuori menù. Prezzi onesti.

02/11/2024: Piatti scanditi,senza sale. Patate al forno amare da quanto erano bruciate. Direi cena pessima. Dopo poco che sono uscita.....un forte mal di pancia
