21/04/2026: A cozy restaurant by the lake, more authentic than most in Sirmione. Seafood appears to be the main specialty, but my Carbonara was excellent.

20/04/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place. The staff is incompetent. The food is disgusting. The worst margarita pizza I've ever had. The tomato sauce smelled bad, the cheese was terrible, and the olive oil wasn't fresh either. We thought the pizza was stale. The staff supposedly checked it, but I couldn't finish it after two bites. The fried seafood, which was supposed to be calamari, shrimp, and vegetables, actually contained some headless fish waste, 95% of the shrimp was shell, and octopus. It was a disaster. After pointing out that the pizza was old, the waiter rushed around, saying the boss was supposed to come over, but the boss was probably afraid of a confrontation, and we ended up having to pay and leave, leaving behind a full pizza and the calamari. After pointing out that we should get a refund for the old pizza, or at least not counting the coperto, the boss ran off, and the waiter said we should talk to the boss. We left without wasting any time, disgusted.

05/04/2026: The 4.5 rating appears to be from the previous diner. We visited the restaurant to try the classic dishes on the menu. Lured by the inviting ambiance with its beautiful white tablecloths, we had high expectations. The fact that there were only a few guests at the time initially led us to attribute it to the higher price point – however, in retrospect, this suggests other explanations. The dishes in retrospect: • Vitello Tonnato: A very minimalist approach was taken here. The meat was the absolute focus and had a very firm texture. Since the sauce was used very sparingly, the meat's natural flavor remained completely pure and dry. • Caesar Salad: A dish for those who like it rustic. The meat topping was remarkably firm and offered extreme resistance when chewing – definitely a departure from the usual succulence. • Spaghetti Carbonara: This variation was very meat-heavy. The sausage component was so dominant that the pasta and the actual sauce were almost completely overshadowed. Unfortunately, the dish lacked any balance from a technical standpoint, as the excessive seasoning completely stifled any hint of Italian lightness. A very unusual experience that, sadly, failed to impress. In conclusion: The kitchen here takes a very unique approach to textures, intense seasoning, and the proportions of ingredients. For lovers of classic, succulent Italian cuisine, however, this presents a challenge. We've had the experience once and will leave it at that. Fortunately, we found a fantastic restaurant just a short distance away in town that completely satisfied our culinary desires – we immediately made a reservation for our second evening there.

18/03/2026: The Risorgimento restaurant in Sirmione no longer exists. It has changed ownership and its name. Now, that place is a tourist restaurant like so many others.

28/10/2025: A restaurant overlooking the Scaligero Castle. We had lunch for four, sharing an appetizer (very good fried gnocco and excellent hand-sliced ​​raw ham) and pizzas. Nothing exceptional, but good and well-cooked. Excellent value, especially considering the central location and the prices of other restaurants.

25/10/2025: We sit down at 12 for an aperitif. When we order, we're told they don't serve sandwiches at lunchtime. There's no warning from the restaurant. We opt for a coffee: no sweetener, just sugar.

The setting is also a major plus: very well located, attractive, and a really pleasant place to spend some time. The service team is large and very responsive, which makes the experience even smoother and more enjoyable. We highly recommend it!

03/10/2025: Contrary to Google's message: "Temporarily closed" is incorrect. See invoice dated October 2, 2025. This is how you drive restaurants into ruin by claiming temporary closures. This means you can't blindly trust Google reviews. The food was good and the waiter very friendly.

16/04/2026: The food is very good, with generous portions that are enough to fill you up, so good value for money. They also serve pizza for lunch.

12/04/2026: We came for breakfast. We ordered cream croissants and cappuccinos. Fifteen minutes later, we were told there was only one plain croissant and two bombolone left, even though there were four of us. What they brought us were cappuccinos that turned out to be latte macchiatos! And when we went to complain at the bar, an arrogant old woman remained completely indifferent to our remarks, looking down on us and saying, "If you say so." It was a nice little moment in the morning before leaving this beautiful region and heading home, but it put us in a bad mood and ruined the end of our stay. Where is the Italian hospitality? Where is the impeccable service and the typical products that the Swiss envy and come to Italy to find? While the campsite is fantastic, this bar-restaurant is best forgotten!

29/03/2026: I recently dined at the restaurant, a truly charming location, and in the evening the reflection of the light on the water is truly spectacular. The restaurant is located just steps from the lake. The menu is interesting, but nothing fantastic. I'd say my expectations were not met given the location. It's a shame. The menu at Caravaggio, which belongs to the same group, in Desenzano is superior in terms of flavor and quality.

02/04/2026: EXPENSIVE-UNPROFESSIONAL-BAD VIBES Complete disaster… Tourist trap! The owner is strange and the service is terrible. Everything is very unprofessional! Aperol Spritz €8 and Limoncello Spritz €10, both flat, tasted completely tasteless. We paid €61 for two people!!! (2 pizzas, 2 Spritzes, 1 Coke, and two espressos that came with the pizzas…) Never again!

The service is impeccable—attentive, fast, and always with a smile, they make you feel right at home. The owner is truly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. The dishes? Divinely delicious! Each course is an explosion of fresh, authentic flavors, with quality ingredients and meticulously prepared. I've tried everything on these visits and never made a bad choice. If you find yourself in Sirmione, don't miss it: it's worth every return!

03/04/2026: King🤣 of flavors😂😂 couldn't have been more inappropriately named. The menu was meager: unwatchable cold pasta, overcooked rice and peas, a trio of inedible side dishes, not to mention the portions rationed out by a poor girl who would have the owner's menacing look on her face if she overdid it. Well, what can I say, avoid it if you can.

19/02/2026: A nice place adjacent to the Migross supermarket, perfect for a lunch break or a post-shopping drink. They also serve aperitifs.

02/11/2025: Poor quality food. We asked for sautéed vegetables and they served them boiled. The lasagna was made with sour tomato sauce. The pizza was mediocre. You pay €3.50 per person for a cover charge, but you get cheap oil and rubbery bread.
