27/06/2025: Very positive experience (pizza). The only flaw is that it is not always easy to find parking in the area in front (tourist port) during the tourist season.

27/06/2025: On the occasion of our first wedding anniversary, we happened to have lunch at this restaurant, immersed in a spectacular landscape. It was an incredible discovery! For lunch we ate fish, all very fresh and cooked with great care. After lunch, we spent the afternoon in Sirmione, an enchanting city that is truly worth a visit. We had such a good time that, the evening before returning to Milan, we decided to return to taste the pizza we had eyed for lunch... and it lived up to expectations: truly delicious! The staff is exceptional, all kind, friendly and welcoming. A very sweet lady (perhaps the owner?) made us feel at home, with a smile and rare kindness. A place that has remained in our hearts: for the food, for the view and above all for the familiar and authentic atmosphere. We definitely recommend it! Best regards

18/06/2025: We've been coming here for years. It's always a highlight in Sirmione. The first time was at least 10 years ago. The food is absolutely delicious: calzone, spaghetti, schnitzel... everything is fantastic!

10/06/2025: Please note that as soon as you sit down here to eat something, you will be charged €3.50 per person under the guise of ‘our service, some bread and your cutlery etc.’. It is stated somewhere on one of the menus, but if you read it over like I did, you will end up paying €14 extra for 4 people…. I had not paid attention to this so I was quite shocked, I also thought the bill was already high for what you got, so having to pay so much more means that I will not be coming back because the food was not so amazingly good that it was worth it to me. The pizza was a nice size; the dough was tasty, but already limp when served. There was enough topping on it, but the cheese was like chewing gum and not to be cut through and therefore tasted terrible, the pizza lacks flavour (call it herbs, garlic or something). The grilled Lake Garda fish with a single potato and a tablespoon of vegetables was okay and fine in terms of flavour. But the portion was a bit minimalistic. The service was friendly. When I asked for some clarification about the higher bill, they didn't really want to and it was eventually passed on to someone else. I don't like these amounts that are just made up by a restaurant; many restaurants here in Italy seem to do that, but the amount per restaurant varies quite a bit and €3.5 is therefore relatively high... it is useful to know this in advance.

15/06/2025: 4 of us had dinner here on spec, lucky I didn’t look at google ratings before (less than 4) else we might have disregarded it. The host were great, the food was simply outstanding, the prices reasonable. Highly recommended

07/11/2024: I have to say the food was really delicious. They were very polite. The coffee was also very good, I can't forget the taste. I definitely recommend it. It is also a very suitable place for family. The portions were large. It was an advantage that we could order in German.

21/06/2025: Great for years! For years, we've been visiting Ristorante Modi with the whole family (three generations!) every time we're in Sirmione. Not only does the food actually keep getting better, even if you'd hardly think that possible, but the staff is also the friendliest in all of Italy. Highly recommended! Plus, the location on the central piazza is a dream, and the proximity to the lake always brings a refreshing breeze.

02/07/2025: Beautiful location along the lake, the only shame is the high prices and the very long wait for table service.

02/07/2025: Cesar Salad (17€) was bad, pizza lido (13€) was good. Toilet was not clean. The small water is cheaper per liter ;)

17/06/2025: The happy hour special was quite good 😉 Unfortunately, the pasta dish was very dry and very small, which was ridiculous for €13 + €2 for the coperto. Tables are crammed together. The view was nice.

15/06/2025: I chose this place thinking it was a good pizzeria, in reality I ate a disgusting pizza, watery and with a very thin dough so much so that you can't even cut it. Not only was the food not good, but also the staff was very rude. There was no one at the restaurant (and they shouldn't have closed because it has continuous hours as it says) literally at the last bite of pizza of the boy who was with me they ran to collect the plate immediately. I was still eating and due to a health problem I can't eat quickly, the Indian girl immediately came over to collect the plate I told her I haven't finished yet and she left. The other Egyptian waiter dressed in black immediately came over and asked me if I'm finished I told him no, he collected the plate and left. The Indian girl told him I was still eating he pretended nothing had happened and left. All this in less than an hour! I could understand if I had been sitting there for a long time (even if disrespectful ways are always unacceptable). Also my friend heard them say in Arabic now I'll kill you, guys you are not very smart you know that the person in front of you understands your language! But what do I expect from you if while sitting I heard your owner say out loud saying that if the customer tells you that this is not a toast tell him that it is from our house if you want the classic one you can make it at home! It is obvious that the employees will then behave rudely and impolitely! Even there if you have speeches like that these briefings are done in the kitchen between you not in the room in front of people! You are really not professional at all! I wanted to stay for dessert and coffee but they also made me lose my desire, I just wanted to leave. Maybe they don't care about customers since they rely more on tourists passing by as in our case, but in the end you lose your reputation and surely even if you are the last ones open I will not stop by your place again. I wanted to tell what happened so no one falls into the trap. And maybe reading my comment you will start to do some math and try to improve.

08/06/2025: We like to come back here when we are at Lake Garda. Staff thinks along with you. And keeps a close eye on everything. The food tastes excellent. The view of Lake Garda makes the ambiance really great. In short, a big 10!

31/05/2025: It was supposed to be a great last night in Italy, but the wonderful mood was ruined by dinner at this restaurant. I, pregnant, wanted a steak medium rare that evening. Unfortunately, for 32 euros I was served a completely raw steak, most of which was also fat. I almost threw up right at the table after such a dinner. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are many other and more worthy restaurants on this small island.

10/06/2025: €10 for strawberries with cream, €6 for orange juice diluted with water. I'm not quite sure what justifies these prices.

02/06/2025: Great service. Very dog-friendly. They bring you a bowl of water without you even asking. :) I recommend the dessert there.

30/06/2025: The restaurant has a large outdoor area, so we were seated quickly. The service was fast and extremely friendly. The starter was a mixed salad, quite large and tasty. For main courses, we had pasta with tuna and salmon, both of which were good, although the pasta could have used a bit more seasoning in my opinion. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which unfortunately lacked a bit of zest and tasted a bit like coffee, but otherwise, it was good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

30/06/2025: Great food. We ordered Margherita, Spaghettoni with seafood, seafood mix, and salt-crushed sea bass. All 👌except for the Margherita, its tomato sauce was very strong. Refreshing ac and good service.

26/06/2025: The staff were really rude... we asked if we could put 2 slices of tomato in a sandwich to make a 4 year old girl happy... they said no because it was not included in the menu, but when it came to removing ingredients from other sandwiches they didn't bat an eyelid... beyond reproach

26/06/2025: Great drinks, a friendly owner, and a little oasis in the middle of touristy Sirmione. We came here every evening and are already looking forward to our next visit. :)

18/06/2025: Good selection of food and drinks. There's not a great view of the lake. The staff is friendly.

17/06/2025: Had lunch today. Ordered a cold appetizer Octopus in salad, it came boiled and overcooked. Spaghetti with Sardines from the lake dry, it drags in your mouth. Paid 49 euros.
