02/09/2025: In any touristy town, its easy to get ripped off by touristy restaurants mailing it in. La Fiasca is nothing of the sort.
Excellent, hand-made pasta dishes. Great wine list. Great service. Lovely location (both the outdoor and indoor sections are beautiful). Great lunch or dinner choice. Can't wait to go again.

22/08/2025: We chose the restaurant because of its variety of gluten-free dishes. The pizzas were delicious and tasted like a pizza made with wheat. The service was also very attentive, and the staff were clearly uncomfortable with the fact that, despite repeated requests, the meat platter finally arrived after waiting over an hour. However, we had to return it because the meat was extremely dry...
Conclusion: A great place to visit for gluten-free meals.
20/08/2025: This restaurant is part of the AIC (Italian IC) network, with a fully gluten-free menu. High-quality ingredients and a good value. The staff is attentive to customer needs.

10/08/2025: Right in the heart of the old town, yet off the beaten track. A bit more expensive than the direct pedestrian zone, but considerably quieter and more relaxed. And the best lasagna we've ever had. The vitello tonnato is also highly recommended. They also serve a very tasty beer. It's a pleasant place to be, even in the hustle and bustle of tourists.

23/08/2025: The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was superb: varied and tasty. Old Town was just a short 5 minute walk away. While this may not suit everyone, we loved having a peaceful location away from the hectic tourist-filled bustle of the Old Town. The Grottoes of Catullo are also literally on the other side of the street. Hotel Ideal's own private beach was a cherry on top since the public beaches were extremely crowded.
If you want a peaceful retreat right on the doorstep of the Old Town, Hotel Ideal is an excellent choice.
26/07/2025: We stayed for two nights last weekend in a room with a stunning lake view and a completely peaceful pool. Thanks to the management for allowing us to use the pool throughout our departure day.

11/08/2025: The Roman-style pizza was good. The staff was uninterested and unsmiling. One star less for the receipt that didn't arrive after I requested it. The waitress was very disappointed. Not good.

The service was acceptable, but the cashier who greeted us to pay the bill was truly rude.

18/08/2025: We didn't feel welcome when we walked in. We initially overlooked it, but then they didn't even take our drink order. After a friendly request, we were able to order; the drinks were okay, but the soft drinks were simply slammed down on the table. The waiters weren't even smiling. The food was too expensive for what it was. The pizza base was very thin, and the €20 bowl was simply too expensive for such a low quality. No sauces and no side dishes other than dry bread. We were very disappointed. The plates were already cleared away while we were still eating the last bite. All in all, it felt like we were in a "Karen" restaurant that we had accidentally wandered into.
The restrooms were also not clean, there was no lid, and the lighting was rather dim.
I wouldn't recommend it.

19/07/2025: Non è il solito calzone a cui sono abituata vale a dire morbido. Questo è duro e più piccolo ma devo dire una sorpresa. Saporito al punto giusto e morbido all’interno. Vale la pena provarlo. Personale molto gentile. Prezzo onesto
