14/01/2026: An exceptional experience of Brescian traditional cuisine. I tried my first Brescian-style skewer, which includes: broth with chicken livers to start, spit-roasted meat cooked for hours on end, baked potatoes, polenta, and a sauce. The sweet finale is lettuce (chiacchiere) with its cream.

28/12/2025: Il Caricatore is a historic restaurant that's been around for decades. I already had fond memories of it after not having eaten there for years, and it's once again proven to be one of the best places for skewered meat. We ordered the spiego, the famous Brescian skewer, and I went with a group of friends and family. It's also an ideal place for groups. The interior is very welcoming. The decor and the bill are excellent, and it's one of the best skewered meats in the Brescia area. The service is excellent and top-quality.

03/01/2026: If you're looking for a quiet dinner with family or friends, this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, and what's absolutely not to be underestimated is the service—not fast, but very fast! We enjoyed a leisurely dinner in the privacy of our family, and the food was delivered quickly despite the restaurant being packed. We'll definitely be back!

03/01/2026: We stopped by chance while visiting Franciacorta and had a wonderful time. Being a weekday, it was packed with workers and locals from nearby factories at lunchtime, but the food was excellent—pumpkin casoncelli topped with butter, sage, and amaretti biscuits that melted in your mouth—and the waiters were super attentive and friendly. What can I say? It's a rare gem among so many other offerings, which, despite their high-sounding appeal, don't translate into good food and friendly service. ......For those who are nearby, definitely worth a try in the evening, too.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for immediately feeling at ease, especially during such a special time of year. The atmosphere was familiar and well-organized, ideal for a group dinner without sacrificing quality. The cuisine is traditional, authentic, and plentiful: simple yet carefully prepared dishes with authentic, home-style flavors. Everything was served with attention and courtesy, with well-managed timing despite the large number of diners. Special praise goes to the friendly and helpful staff, who helped make the evening even more enjoyable. A trattoria that confirms the value of good local cuisine and sincere hospitality. Highly recommended, both for dinners with friends and for special occasions.

12/01/2026: I've been going there for over 25 years, several times a year (including Christmas and August), and I've always eaten a lot and well. It's impossible to decide which is better, the first courses or their legendary skewer.

06/01/2026: I went to Rustichello with 10 other people. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the traditional cuisine was truly delicious and flavorful. The owners were very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try!

06/01/2026: We ate at this historic restaurant in Gussago. Excellent service with an excellent wine cellar. The dishes are exquisite... the pumpkin risotto with sausage was top-notch. The beef in olive oil was incredibly tender. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended restaurant.
