28/01/2026: Excellent little place for a business lunch (and more) for €13. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, cushions on the chairs appreciated, napkins and tableware the bare minimum but the highlight are the dishes..... Enjoying my abundant casoncelli as a first course... and turkey with polenta and roast potatoes (excellent) I looked at the other courses on the tables and I must say that the plating and quality of the food far surpass some €50 restaurants... Excellent work by the boy/boys in the kitchen.... The owner is always present in the room, careful to make sure everything works for the best, always with discretion and elegance....... a little small (few seats but comfortable) BUT..... VERY BIG!!!!

19/08/2025: Simple and quiet place, very friendly staff, fast and efficient service. They brought us a spectacular grilled meat, cooked to perfection. The price was definitely reasonable.

13/08/2025: A simple, old-fashioned place with a warm welcome and some traditional dishes. Even a simple stop and refreshment at the bar will immerse you in nature and the scents of the forest.

05/01/2026: I don't know if it was for the holidays... But paying 160 euros for a small sea bream!!! A plate of 8 ravioli 40 euros!! If it had been a restaurant facing the sea or lake it would have been worth the price... But it's in front of the station!!!

21/12/2025: A magical setting with a hand-painted Bergamo skyline, the perfect backdrop for its top-quality cuisine. Gigi is the best when you want to feel at home.

20/12/2025: I often come here with my friends, and every time we feel right at home. Paie and freedom are the key words. The Protectorate also always surprises with its "Lemon Gigi," a bitter liqueur that rounds off the evening beautifully. Recommended!

23/11/2025: Slow and unprofessional service. An hour's wait from when we ordered. The dishes arrived out of order: the appetizers arrived after the other diners had already finished their main courses. No apologies were given to the customer for the delays and confusion.

16/01/2026: January 2026. A pissed-off waitress who doesn't say hello or even respond, shuffling her feet from table to table as if she were headed to the gallows. We had to get up and go call her to the counter where she stood with her back to the customers to take their orders. 25 minutes for two cappuccinos, ordered with cocoa and delivered without. Bigio's service has truly deteriorated. I'll settle for their delicious cookies, but there are plenty of other great cafes in San Pellegrino for breakfast.

11/01/2026: The hotel's excellent location near the San Pellegrino spa allows for a relatively affordable stay. The rooms are truly dated, as is the entire property. This is evident from the photos, but in person, the rooms are much worse than they appear, with furniture and fixtures reminiscent of a vintage museum. There were no cotton swabs in the room, and the toilet paper roll was already half used. However, the room was very clean. The staff was excellent, kind and very helpful, from the reception and breakfast waiters to the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was good, but my partner, who is gluten and lactose intolerant, was only able to eat a package of packaged biscuits, contrary to what I had been told on the phone, which stated they had alternatives for those with intolerances.

06/01/2026: They don't even deserve 1 star. A total disappointment. To think that the managers are Albanian. In Albania we care about cleanliness, service, food. That is, doing things well. Guys, no offense, but that's not your job. I'm sorry.

16/01/2026: Probably a bit of a hidden gem on Piazza Pontida. Wonderful, casual atmosphere supported by a nice personal touch by the charcuterie chef. Fantastic plate of Bergamo (in my case) topped by the Gorgonzola with a honey/pear pasta. Nice wine selection by the glass. Just a nice experience

06/01/2026: Not recommended!! As soon as we arrived, the waiters didn't pay attention to us and after calling them, the lazy guy cleaned the table very superficially and there they abandoned us for 30 minutes so we went to Vasinikò
