24/10/2025: Me and my friend from Wales (galles) came here twice I had a (st germain) what a guy. Por farfore. Despite his English, we communicated and he's a good man and a passionate worker.
15/09/2025: It's been a while since I've been back to "IL MAIALINO DI GIO'" but I was very disappointed... the prices have increased significantly and the quality of service has been reduced to a minimum... €8 for a Spritz with nothing to nibble on!!!! Failed

03/10/2025: Service improved when we went back each evening to watch the Ryder Cup. The atmosphere was fine for the most part. Men's toilets are eye-opening coming from the UK. They had 2 beers on from Oktoberfest which was nice.
14/06/2025: Irish pub with Irish beers and food. Nice location, great place to grab a beer with friends in the evening. The staff are friendly and helpful.

22/09/2025: On Sunday morning, we took the little one to the park, despite the slow service being the only place in the area. Prices were absurd: coffee €2, latte macchiato €2.50, cappuccino (cold, without foam) €2.50. I've paid similar amounts in the upper town. With impeccable service and, of course, the location. For example, at Caffè del Tasso in Piazza Vecchia, prices are similar.
21/09/2025: Well...the prices are certainly high.
Paying €2 for a coffee, even if it's at a table, is too much. You pay less at the Nazionale, which serves biscuits and water. I certainly won't be returning.

23/11/2025: Slow and unprofessional service. An hour's wait from when we ordered. The dishes arrived out of order: the appetizers arrived after the other diners had already finished their main courses. No apologies were given to the customer for the delays and confusion.

11/12/2025: Spacious, clean, and quiet rooms. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was well-stocked and plentiful. The location is perfect, central to everything. The biscuits were simply amazing.

13/12/2025: A truly excellent experience! The service was incredibly fast and impeccable, the waiters were kind, professional, and always smiling. The pizza dough is excellent, light and flavorful; you can taste the quality right away. The place is beautiful, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. Kudos to the entire staff; this pizzeria absolutely deserves 5 stars.
10/10/2025: A lovely restaurant located in the center of Nembro. Plenty of parking (some free) nearby. Delicious pizza with a soft crust (pictured is a prosciutto and burrata pizza). Attentive and attentive service. The staff always smiles. We'll be back.

30/11/2025: We were very disappointed with the experience. After more than an hour of waiting, our risotto and pizzoccheri arrived, still undercooked. When we politely asked for a timeframe, we were rudely told, "Yeah, it's still a long way off," with no apology for the delay or inconvenience.
We felt our order had been forgotten, as other tables who arrived after us were served first. Mistakes can certainly happen, but courtesy should always be upheld.
29/11/2025: Very nice place, very kind and helpful staff..., delicious food and generous portions.

21/10/2025: We tried some traditional dishes, which we found to be good. The atmosphere was quiet, and the prices were moderate and appropriate for the amount consumed.
17/10/2025: Very average. Empty place with too loud jazz music. Lots of plastic. It wants to give the impression of an upscale restaurant, but it's only average. Good pasta. Secondi not well prepared. Dried fish and tagliata are better in any trattoria. Zucchini burnt on the plate. Service nice, but sometimes disappeared for half an hour. Room for improvement.

07/11/2025: A nice, quiet bar where you can have a good breakfast with friends or even a mid-morning snack. Nice... nothing negative... just the atmosphere is a bit anonymous... a bit too typical of a local bar... but that's it! I recommend it.
27/07/2025: A large and welcoming bar with a beautiful counter, delicious cappuccinos and croissants, and specialty products like the pomegranate juice pictured. Fast and friendly service at fair prices. Also serving first and second courses.

30/10/2025: We waited a very long time, the pizza chef yelling and cursing at the waitresses, which happens if you're sitting near the oven.
Then we ate fried frogs covered in oil, almost inedible. The waitresses were always in a rush due to poor organization, and we ordered wine by the glass and were told it wasn't available. Then we ordered some again, and this time it was available. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
30/10/2025: We had a really good Keto pizza.
The service was good, and the place was quaint.
We'll definitely be back.

We stumbled upon the place by chance during a business trip and were so impressed that we went back three more times.
05/10/2025: We had dinner tonight, and it once again confirms that they're number one.
Exceptional pizzas and infinite kindness.
I highly recommend it.
