12/03/2026: We ate at Chalet Paradais 3 days out of 3 for lunch. Very convenient for its speed and location. It's convenient for cross-country skiers, both within walking distance and those using the ski lift to reach the 1km slope. The restaurant is very beautiful and well-kept. It offers a variety of dishes, from sandwiches to platters. It would be nice to have bread from the bakery, so the SCHILPARIO bakery would also work, but the sandwiches, although good, come with frozen bread in plastic bags. The platter was excellent, and the beers even better. Piadina is best left to the locals. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

31/01/2026: Excellent pizza for a good price, large selection of dishes, possibility to sit inside. The pizza was juicy but not greasy. It had a lot of sauce/toppings and the vegetables were fresh. The service was very nice. We are glad that we chose this place for a meal, if we are in Bergamo again, we will come again. Moreover, only 20 minutes walk from the train station. The only minus is that there is no toilet inside.

17/09/2025: I've eaten so many sausage pizzas. But honestly, never one like this. The pizza I was given had very little sausage on it, really, really little. It was like a Margherita pizza with little bits of sausage accidentally falling on it. It's really rare for me to write a negative review... well, this time I just couldn't help it.

30/01/2026: I ordered a piadina with only the cooked meat. The order arrived wrong after almost an hour of waiting. They took the piadina out and added the cooked meat. The burger arrived cold. I wouldn't recommend eating here. It's only good for a drink.

02/12/2025: The place is simply incredible; Costa Paradiso is a beautiful holiday destination. My husband and I ordered spaghetti bongole bottarga, and my children had pizza. Everything was delicious, and as mentioned before, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The only downside was the service. Last year we were served by a waiter from Argentina (I think), and he was incredibly friendly and attentive. He set the bar very high, in my opinion. Apart from that, everything was more than perfect, and I hope to return next year.

22/09/2025: I'm sorry, but for me it's a big no. What can I say? From the service, we arrive and the owner tells us table 4. Without any welcome, we go and sit down. Her daughter arrives later, as I understand it, and says, "Who made them sit there? It's not their table." The food? Lobster salad full of too many condiments: olives, cherry tomatoes, tomato carpaccio, avocado. Not to mention the scampi, scallops, and guanciale. I don't know the chef, but I respect him because he killed those scallops twice, overcooked. But we didn't let ourselves be intimidated and moved on to the first courses. The papardella was good, even if it was tasteless with the frozen mushrooms. But the horror was my companion's dish: calmarata with gurnard and red mullet. Then they brought us a pasta dish full of olives that tasted only of Tagalog olive oil. He didn't eat any of it. All in all? I didn't try the pizza, but maybe it's better. Indeed the wine is very good, compliments to the Vignola wineries.

19/06/2025: Tuvimos una experiencia extremadamente desagradable en este restaurante. Tan pronto como nos sentamos y dijimos que comenzaríamos pidiendo bebidas antes de elegir la comida, nos pidieron que dejáramos la mesa. Así de fácil. Una completa falta de respeto a los clientes. Y se puso peor: cuando nos íbamos, el camarero vio que llevábamos una botella de agua (la nuestra) y, de una manera agresiva e irrespetuosa, comenzó a gritarnos, diciendo que teníamos que llevar la botella con nosotros porque “no la tiraría a la basura del restaurante”. Fue una situación absurda y embarazosa, claramente hostil, especialmente porque somos extranjeros. Nunca nos han tratado con tanta falta de respeto en un lugar donde esperábamos sentirnos bienvenidos. No recomiendo este lugar. Ahorre tiempo y elija un restaurante donde el personal trate a las personas con cortesía básica. Este no merece su visita.

30/12/2025: I arrived in Bergamo from Florence for a few days, and since I had to go to dinner with friends, I was looking for a good pastry shop nearby. Google suggested Pasticceria Giove, and I have to say it was the best recommendation possible. The pastry chef was extremely friendly and helpful; you could tell he's passionate about what he does and prepares everything himself. The pastries I brought for dinner were literally dusted in minutes, and the cream-filled cannoncini bergamaschi—which he recommended—were simply exceptional. A truly pleasant discovery: top-notch quality, incredibly fresh products, and a rare welcome. Highly recommended!

04/03/2026: Impeccable service, attentive waiters, especially the young man who served us, very professional and friendly. We had a cheese cuoppo to share and two pizzas, both delicious and well-topped. We will definitely be back.

01/03/2026: I honestly think the pizza I ate here deserves to be classified as the best pizza I've ever had (personally). Perfect dough, exquisite ingredients, and sublime flavors. Nothing more could you ask for in a pizza. Special mention goes to the friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back to try other specialties (the menu has so many options, 29 pages in total!)
