17/07/2025: We stayed in an apartment near this restaurant for one night. We wanted to have breakfast at DaStefano's. Upon arrival, we received friendly service. The selection is enormous, and everything is freshly made. Simply choose what you want, and they prepare the plate. They asked where we wanted to sit, and the table was set. We also received some extra bread and a carafe of water. Delicious food! The owner, DaStefano, even brought a delicious local cheese called Tallegio. It was a wonderful cheese (we actually wanted a glass of wine with it, but that would have been strange at 10:00 AM...). All in all, a lovely way to start the morning!

12/12/2025: I ate at this restaurant with colleagues and former colleagues for Christmas lunch. I'll start by saying I'd never been to this restaurant before Wednesday; I ate pasta with seafood sauce and baked salmon. I felt so bad from night to day, with severe gastrointestinal pain and practically constant use of the bathroom. Other colleagues have had similar symptoms. If you really want to... try the meat!!! Highly discouraged, and as far as I'm concerned, never again!

18/11/2025: Last Saturday, we had a hard time finding a table even though we had reservations. The pizzas were good, and the service was good, but unfortunately, it was too crowded and noisy. Perhaps some partitions between the rooms and some sound-absorbing ceiling panels would be enough.

07/10/2025: What can I say? Excellent service, great wine list, and reasonable prices! I'll definitely be back!

17/10/2025: A truly excellent restaurant with very friendly staff. Try the Tris Piemontese appetizer and the marinara pizza (request white pizza). Clean bathrooms and average prices. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: The food is really good, with generous portions; we tried practically everything. The waiters only clear the table. It's semi-self-service, and the location is very basic, being an island inside Orio Center. But it's definitely worth it if you want to eat well in Orio without having to worry about service.

29/10/2025: I often go to this cozy and intimate restaurant and always enjoy it. The food is excellent, both meat and fish, and the dishes are sophisticated. The wine list is excellent, ranging from top-shelf to more sought-after labels. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owners are incredibly friendly and ready to accommodate every need. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: Eat super well and feel at home in a beautiful environment

22/09/2025: I'm sorry, but for me it's a big no. What can I say? From the service, we arrive and the owner tells us table 4. Without any welcome, we go and sit down. Her daughter arrives later, as I understand it, and says, "Who made them sit there? It's not their table." The food? Lobster salad full of too many condiments: olives, cherry tomatoes, tomato carpaccio, avocado. Not to mention the scampi, scallops, and guanciale. I don't know the chef, but I respect him because he killed those scallops twice, overcooked. But we didn't let ourselves be intimidated and moved on to the first courses. The papardella was good, even if it was tasteless with the frozen mushrooms. But the horror was my companion's dish: calmarata with gurnard and red mullet. Then they brought us a pasta dish full of olives that tasted only of Tagalog olive oil. He didn't eat any of it. All in all? I didn't try the pizza, but maybe it's better. Indeed the wine is very good, compliments to the Vignola wineries.

05/12/2025: Truly unpleasant. The host, celebrated by some as "charismatic," proves simply incapable of managing the dining room in a dining experience that feels like a fledgling establishment. He does everything himself but doesn't listen to any of the customer's requests, leaves the menus and forgets about my table, arrives and half the menu is unavailable (except to bring items to other tables who arrive later), doesn't remember where the bottles you order are, and doesn't bring you the alternative you request because he brings you one of his own choosing. Meanwhile, he yells and swears (yes, two swear words uttered in the dining room) and the wine is brought after the dishes, which in the meantime are getting cold. The embarrassed customers pretend nothing is happening or simply go along with this awkward local ritual. Interesting labels (if he finds them), beautiful paintings, quality ingredients (those available): simply everything wasted and debased in a service so clumsy it borders on parody. The only island of decorum was the waitress, who salvaged what little could be salvaged with a minimal, silent professionalism that the rest of the place didn't even touch.

19/10/2025: The pizza is truly excellent. Light dough and all kinds of toppings. Definitely try the "scrocchiarella" version (see photo) with a choice of flavor combinations. 👍 I highly recommend booking and avoiding peak hours. The staff is very kind and helpful (which isn't always a given). 😃 I was eating with my wife, daughter, and granddaughter. Everyone was very satisfied. 😋

21/09/2025: A group of 20 people booked a room off to the side, and upon arrival, we were told, "The dog isn't allowed." Never mind that dogs are allowed in the supermarket, but everyone does what they want at home. We offered to move to the (empty!) outdoor tables, and a staff member gave us the okay. The owner proceeded to verbally attack his staff member, who had given us the okay, saying that only one person was allowed to eat outside. A true gentleman! Obviously, we'll never return, not even under torture. Such rudeness.

21/09/2025: A beautiful refuge. Well-maintained, clean and tidy, and the food is delicious. A pleasant hike from the Bobbio plains. The hosts are welcoming and professional.
