04/10/2025: Updated September 2025. Vegan-leaning gastronomy: a dream! Please put some vegan fish back in the fridge... yes, I know what you're thinking, and I think so too, but a dear friend of mine who eats vegetarian has just craved fish... A cutting-edge experience in Italy! There's a lot to say... in my opinion, the uniqueness lies in the fresh products that best express the relationship with the local area and, in any case, with the micro/small businesses now severely challenged by large-scale retail trade. Contrary to what one might expect, the prices, especially for fresh produce, remain affordable, often even lower than organic retail prices. By the way, I met a producer directly who confirmed that the cooperative is the one that pays the most for its work. They also pay a lot of attention to vegans with cutting-edge products: e.g., fresh vegan fish. And I'd also like to add a cherry on top: among the attentive, smiling, and patient staff, there is someone (I think it's obvious to many) who, in my humble opinion, would be better suited to a job less exposed to the public (or at least not at the cash registers). This isn't a criticism, but rather a heartfelt piece of advice and a small contribution to the cooperative's unstoppable growth. Another area for improvement: greater attention to fruit selection (at an advanced stage of ripeness). At the refreshment area: please clearly indicate what is vegetarian and what is vegan, or the server should ask... I forgot... last but not least: try the vegan desserts, they're superb! Keep up the good work!

27/09/2025: We're into organic and biodynamic produce. They're safe and certified. It's interesting that you can eat inside at lunchtime. They also sell fresh baked goods and unpackaged products (pasta, dried fruit, herbal teas, etc.). Lots of fruit and vegetables, including locally sourced produce. Membership is paid at the start and is refunded if you stop buying.

04/03/2026: Tried it for lunch. Menu €13, including coffee. Parking isn't a huge amount, but it's still worth looking for. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Good choice of two or three first courses and three second courses. The portions are generous, but the quality is good. The main course, roast pork loin and polenta, is worth a visit. The pizzeria is only available in the evening.

11/02/2026: If you love cozy, rustic places with friendly staff, I highly recommend this place. My compliments to the entire staff for feeding me to my heart's content and comforting me with your delicious dinner on Saturday evening. I arrived in Ranica filled with hope and nostalgic thoughts, and you have lifted my spirits.

19/12/2025: I go there on average once a month and always find good service, generous, well-cooked pizzas. All in all, a solid four-star rating. Last time, however, the waitresses were a bit surly, and the pizza was a bit too salty for my taste. So for now, I'd give it a three as an encouragement; it's possible that one night something might not go right.

08/12/2025: We stopped here before going to the Mole Antonelliana thanks to the very interesting menu and the reviews. The place was packed, but they managed to find us a spot for two near the cash register. We felt a bit in the middle of the table, but were still welcomed by the attentiveness of all the waiters. The food was excellent, everything was a shame about the table location. The restrooms were clean. The bill was reasonable. It's definitely a nice place; everyone is very kind and helpful. I didn't take any great photos, but everything was excellent.

05/02/2026: I've been there several times until last summer for business lunches. Today I went back and saw many changes: prices increased, wine is now excluded, portions reduced. Okay, there's a crisis and there's something for everyone, but the thing that really bothered me was the difference in treatment between the regulars, many strictly placed in a specific part of the room, and the others like us who are occasional visitors, from the bread and breadsticks to the portions, everything was different. These things drive me crazy, I work too and the euros are the same!!!! I don't think I'll ever go back. Getting lost in these things is quite pitiful, and don't tell me it's not true, it would be even more pitiful.

05/03/2026: Excellent place...good dinner... But unfortunately, not knowing what you're eating is a flaw in my opinion... I asked what a cream was in my appetizer and the answer was that they always change and they didn't know...as good as it was, I was disappointed. Even allergies or intolerances are a shortcoming in a good restaurant, in my opinion. You could have gone to the kitchen and simply asked.

14/02/2026: A wine bar that claims to be Michelin-starred, but isn't, and that's immediately apparent in a simple lunch. The service was inattentive, even bringing menus and water later than regular customers. The wine list is excellent, as are the dishes ordered (sublime casoncelli and tagliolini with truffle). A serious flaw is the failure to weigh the truffle in front of the customer (paid 7 euros per gram for 5 grams on trust). Mr. Mazzoleni, dear colleague, this is not the case. In the restaurant business, form is also substance. I will give you a second chance to see if it was a mistake or a habit. Reply to the owner's comment: when you sell something by the gram, you weigh it in front of the customer regardless of the price charged outside and the ingredients; otherwise, you offer the dish at a fixed final price. This is the rule to avoid giving rise to "bad thoughts" given the ambiguous nature of the service, which is not expected from those who deal with Selosse, etc. Greetings AB
