25/06/2025: Today we were at this restaurant for the first time and we opted for the "Menu of the Day" formula: at a cost of €17.50 per person, the menu includes a first course, a second course with side dish, service charge, water and 1/4 of wine. I had the meat dishes: Tortiglioni Sausage and broccoli and Saltimbocca alla romana with mashed potatoes; NonZio had the fish dishes: Farfalle with seafood ragù and Roasted octopus with spinach. We were both happy with the dishes they served us: they were well cooked and tasty. The bread basket was good and also included a small olive roll and a whole wheat one with sesame seeds. The warm focaccia with oil and oregano, offered as an entrée, was very welcome. Since the Menu of the Day formula also included wine, I chose a sparkling white, which was very pleasant (NonZio instead only had water because he had to drive...). To close the lunch, an inevitable macchiato coffee for both of us, which is not included in the menu, but is charged only 1 euro (while everywhere else now it costs 1.50 if not 2 euros). The only flaw we found, the very very slow service (or perhaps disorganized): as soon as we sat down as a couple they came to ask for the order but without having brought us the menu, once we had the menu we waited more than a quarter of an hour to order. After the first course (which arrived very slowly) we waited almost half an hour before the second course arrived, so much so that we were no longer even very hungry... Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but we entered at 12.45 and left at past 2... I hope it's a coincidence, because it's a nice place and the staff is numerous, but perhaps today it was a little disorganized. We will return to try other menus and also the pizza and hope to be able to correct the evaluation of the service. A question: can anyone tell me what the mega robot outside means?

31/05/2025: I visited this restaurant with 3 friends because it was recommended to me by a connoisseur. High expectations but I didn't think they would be so fulfilled! The first course with amberjack was off the menu (very delicate) and was recommended to me by the owner: rating 8! The second course is said to be a must of the place: swordfish cutlet with a sauce, maybe more of a mayonnaise, superlative so much so that I ordered a second (of the sauce). The caramel tiramisu with chopped hazelnuts was also excellent! Wine by the glass for me, a bottle of white for my friends! All seasoned with a quiet atmosphere and light music in the background! CHAPEAU!

24/07/2025: Nice restaurant and excellent food. Easy to find if you're coming from the ring road. The service and food are exquisite, and the place serves a lot of meat.

18/07/2025: I've been to La Comida twice. The pizzas are delicious, as are the antipasti. The buffalo mozzarella is very fresh and therefore extremely tasty. The cheesecake is also highly recommended. Excellent service, very friendly! The best parking is at the gas station.

20/09/2025: We ordered eight dishes and one arrived every 20 minutes, and we had to wait an hour for the last two dishes. A terrible experience, I don't recommend it and I wouldn't return.

08/08/2025: A young place, it's really quality, I taste beers before deciding, I'm teetotal but my friend who is a beer enthusiast says they are very good and appreciates it. The place is not very big but very well managed spaces with wonderful tables. Young staff, young and very pleasant clientele.

12/09/2025: If you're passing through Pavia, head straight to Osteria Della Darsena, where the owner, who handles everything from A to Z, will welcome you. Impeccable service, great friendliness, and an excellent chef: his "Tagliolini con Tartufo" are to die for. A true delight. If Pavia is your stopover, don't look elsewhere for a treat. A delight for the taste buds.

08/09/2025: We had lunch in a pleasant setting under the portico, we ate well: excellent ossobuco and risotto, appreciated the platter of cured meats as an appetizer, not to be missed the selection of brutti ma buoni for dessert... Interesting wine list

18/09/2025: Not sure what happened with the last reviewer, but our food was outstanding. One of (if not) the best food we have at lake garda. 4 courses, all delicious. My wife's piglet, was to die for. Service was slow but that's ok, and really friendly and helpful. Slow pace is better for us. A great little slice of atmosphere in Desenzano

22/06/2025: Sia dall’esterno che dall’interno le aspettative non erano alte. Tantissima gente per cui si poteva presumere si mangiasse bene Assaggiato antipasti, combinazioni strane: provola affumicata con tagliata di tonno crudo - terrina con gamberetti abbinata ad un gelato al limone talmente ghiacciato che non sono riuscito a mangiarlo - moscardini fritti , e poi un piatto di pesce crudo servito con una strana composizione di verdura e frutta (due pezzi a testa) . Mi spiace dirlo ma il pesce crudo va servito sul ghiaccio e pulito meglio. In totale per tre persone abbiamo preso 5 antipasti e le cruditè. Acqua e due birre. Prezzo da ristorante stellato Capisco che il pesce costa ma a quel punto me lo devi servire in un contesto diverso e con proposte non da trattoria, o porzioni più abbondanti . Personale però molto gentile

31/05/2025: Great place to have lunch, or dinner both during lunch break and in the evening after a nice walk. The service is fast and the staff is always available. The prices are also quite fair.

16/08/2025: It's a tough job getting there, but the view and hospitality make it worth it. Excellent tour of the three refuges, definitely worth doing again.

27/07/2025: Fabio and his crew are very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is clean, tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The food is very good. Please note: there is no cell phone reception (German), regardless of whether you're using D1, D2, or O2! No Wi-Fi. Emergency phone available. 08/06/2025: We went for the first time to eat a pizza but we were very disappointed .... the dough had no flavor and the size was small. moreover 2.50 for a cover charge to eat on a paper tablecloth ... very poor quality-price ratio .... highly not recommended!!!! we will definitely not return

07/06/2025: Siamo stati per la prima volta a mangiare una pizza ma siamo rimasti molto delusi .... l'impasto non aveva sapore e le dimensioni erano piccole.per di più 2,50 di coperto per mangiare su una tovaglia di carta ... rapporto qualità prezzo molto scarso ....sconsigliatissimo!!!! sicuramente non ci ritorneremo.

03/08/2025: We had a truly delicious aperitivo. Refined food for those who want to try something different from the standard menus, or for those who simply want something vegan but high-quality. The price is slightly higher, but it's definitely worth it. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can also receive the menu, which changes daily, on your phone. The only downside is that it's practically on the sidewalk, so it's hard to relax properly. The interior is very nice.

A wide selection of natural wines and high-quality ingredients are also available. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
