Very fast service and attentive, friendly staff.
Abundant and delicious dishes: fresh pasta (spaghetti alla chitarra with clams and zucchini and orecchiette with vegetables), mixed fried fish, grilled cuttlefish, and grilled swordfish.
The grilled vegetables were also very good.
The desserts were excellent (house-made tiramisu, as well as strawberry cheesecake and meringue with hot chocolate).
Prices were reasonable.
12/10/2025: Impeccable service: I've rarely seen such speed and precision. Short wait times. Truly an excellent restaurant!

29/10/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. The place is small but cozy, the staff is kind and friendly, and the waitress is quick and always smiling.
The owner is very nice. We ordered three side dishes, but when we finished them, she brought us a sample of fried gnocco with cured meats. She wasn't forced to, as there were other side dishes to choose from. I repeat, she was very nice ☺️. The food, what can I say, was delicious, fresh, and excellent. We ordered the menu consisting of three first courses with three toppings that you can choose from, three second courses, and three side dishes.
There's one bathroom for men and women, but it's super clean and convenient.
If we were to return to Milan and we're in the area, lunch would be a sure thing.
When we arrived, the place was full, but the wait for a table was short.
Clean place. Good food. Friendly staff. I recommend it ☺️

04/08/2025: It's simply a bar. Very good pizza and decent pasta. The service is very friendly. The interior is a bit tired, but clean. You can sit inside (air-conditioned) or outside under a covered roof. Prices are affordable.
26/07/2025: A simple but well-maintained place, charming and welcoming. On one evening, four of us ordered different dishes (each tasting ourselves) and a focaccia with the appetizers. Everything was truly delicious. I personally ordered paella, so for me... the paella is worth it!

02/11/2025: Undoubtedly they use excellent ingredients in this historical Milan restaurant. The recipes, while not adventurous, are not banal or routine and vaunt a touch of modernity and creativity. It is a sort of elevated and refined trattoria.
However, the execution skills are not always in line with the quality of the ingredients. Notable failures were the (over)cooking of pasta in otherwise good and tasty tortelli ("cacio e pepe" with raw red prawns, lime and bottarga) and spaghetti with clams. A grouper, fresh and pleasant, was advertised as "crispy" but wasn't. A seafood fritto misto was the only perfectly executed dish.
Because patisserie needs precision and here they don't shine in that department, we skipped desserts.
The rooms and decor are beautiful and atmospheric. This is a large place with many people. Service is friendly but not always attentive and sometimes slightly chaotic, probably the same as things work in the cuisine. The result was a good but not outstanding meal. While I don't regret the experience, and portions are unusually generous at this level, at these prices I'm not sure a return would be worth the while.

Homemade tortellini with butter and sage.
Good polenta and braised meat.
Gnocco fritto and cured meats are average.
The atmosphere is still there, as it was in 1980.

Patrizia is truly kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. The menu offers traditional and authentic dishes, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients. Everything is homemade; I highly recommend the gnocchi, truly delicious!
The tiramisu is absolutely not to be missed: freshly prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients. It's not your typical traditional tiramisu, but it's so good and unique that it's definitely worth a try!

29/06/2025: Beautiful and refined pastry shop and ice cream shop near me. It has become a reference point for many, from breakfast with fantastic brioches to coffee breaks and snacks. Very good ice cream. Very kind staff

03/10/2025: We weren't familiar with the place. We relied on the reviews provided by other users and were very satisfied. The chef is very friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The wait staff is very kind and discreet. The dishes are exquisite. I recommend them!
28/09/2025: We were passing through a comic book convention and decided to eat at this restaurant. The chef describes the entire menu in detail, even detailing the provenance of the ingredients. I really appreciate this kind of welcome, because seeing someone so knowledgeable and passionate makes me want to eat. I wasn't particularly hungry, but after the best tripe of my life, I thought to myself, "This is too good, let's try something else." So for my main course, I ordered a duck dish. I can't describe how the chef prepared it, but I think I could have eaten it until I was sick. I can only say that it was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. I paid the bill, happy to have had this experience. It's a shame we're so far away, but considering how I ate here, I'll definitely drive an hour and a half. My sincerest compliments, chef.

Cover charge €6, coffee €4.50, four zucchini flowers €24.50… No wine, no dessert, just a good appetizer and a decent swordfish, €85 per person seems too much, even though it's called Don Lisander and even though it's on Via Manzoni… I'm afraid I won't be back.
