We were truly impressed. The food was excellent, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the place was truly charming.
After the owner explained the dishes, we chose two typical Ligurian appetizers, delicious!
Then a tuna steak, perfectly cooked.
Fair prices, good food, and friendly service. Well done, congratulations!

There are small outdoor seating areas which is great, the cocktails are very good, and the small bruschetta are perfectly made. The shop selling local products is fantastic.

26/03/2026: Room very clean and organized. It could be a little larger, but the price corresponds to what's offered. Also a little noisy because of the restaurant's clients right below the room's window.
15/03/2026: This place was the highlight of our stay in Liguria. We returned twice because we wanted to eat the whole menu. Everything was delicious, everything was beautiful, everyone was so kind. Not content with that, we also stopped by the wine cellar to pick up sauces, liqueurs, and local products. We hope to return soon 🫶🏻

14/10/2025: A hidden gem in the Levante hills. La Zita is always a sure thing: good food, homely service, and reasonable prices.
If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat a wealth of traditional products, you've come to the right place.
The restaurant is so homey, it almost feels like entering a private home and being welcomed as part of the family.
The highlight of the menu is the exceptional first courses, followed by the Ligurian-style rabbit, very juicy and not at all gamey.
To top off the meal, the bill is incredibly low, in contrast to the rest of the restaurant.
Excellent value for money.

Why is the carbonara scrambles and why are they running out of ingredients for a scampi pasta when the menu only has 10 dishes. Pink Benny changed management and is not the old one anymore. The waiter tried to tell us everyone here eats scrambled carbonara…but we are in italy…

25/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant many times, but on Saturday night I went for the first time since it changed ownership. What can I say, the meat is always top-notch, as are all the side dishes they offer. The owner, Marcello, is an exceptional host, passionate and friendly! This steakhouse in Ortonovo remains an institution for meat lovers, and I highly recommend it!

12/03/2026: A very welcoming place in the center of La Spezia, with modern and warm furnishings, all in wood, and tables decorated with manga and comics, which I really appreciated!
A good selection of vegetarian dishes, including falafel, hummus, seitan, tempeh, ravioli, and more. Wine or craft beer pairings are also available.
A great place to spend a lovely evening; there are also various board games available, and it has a lovely covered terrace.

06/04/2026: Their gelatos are amazing, as the other reviews say, but their tiramisu is simply otherworldly. We returned to Levanto just to eat their tiramisu before leaving. It’s definitely one of the best places in Levanto or the Cinque Terre region for both gelato and tiramisu.
14/02/2026: If I had to name the best gelato in Levanto, for me there's no doubt: Cremeria Garibaldi.
The flavors have an incredible, full, authentic flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the perfect balance between sweetness and intensity. The creams are velvety, enveloping, never cloying; the fruit flavors are fresh and natural, with a real, not artificial, taste.
It's always difficult to choose because each flavor has its own character and personality. Even the texture is perfect: just the right amount of creaminess, without being heavy.
A gelato that's not just delicious, but memorable. For us, it's the absolute benchmark in Levanto.

11/03/2026: We came from Japan! The staff were cheerful and helpful, even though we only speak basic English.
The basil pasta and focaccia were great, and the toilets were incredibly clean.

24/09/2025: Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.
