05/05/2026: Delicious food! We had the pasta with clams and the pasta with walnut sauce. Both were super good!! At the end we tried the red berries cheesecake that was also superb!
The staff were really friendly. They’ve offered us coffee and limoncello at the end.
Definitely recommend it!

13/06/2026: Thirteen or fourteen years after our first dinner there, we returned to try it again. We rediscovered the authenticity of the place. Excellent food and friendly service. Highly recommended.

No menu, changing dishes every evening, family business, welcoming atmosphere, hidden spot in a beautiful little village in the mountain, always busy, very fair price if not even too low for what you get. We will recommend this beautiful place to our friends and family. So so delicious! Cooked with love. Enjoy!

We had the cheese platter as a starter. The cheeses were tasty, but there could have been a bit more. The braised onions were fantastic.
For our main course, we had spinach ravioli. These were very tasty. We expected the spaghetti scalio e pepe to be pepperier. It was lacking a bit.
The tiramisu for dessert was delicious.
The service was friendly and quite quick.

31/05/2026: Pork knuckle for €18 wasn't worth that much, it's just a filling meal, but there's no flavor or anything else. A place that's neither good nor bad, but it falls short of expectations. It's a 5-star establishment, and you think you're going to find a place with good food, but instead...
Photos of old reviews show that everything has gone up in price since last year, another disappointment for those who rely on reviews.
31/05/2026: Lacquered beef...not lacquered. High price for three beef bites. Beer prices are a bit high for a place where you'll find a sign at the entrance that says "DRINK HERE." Good service.

01/03/2026: At the entrance to the beautiful village of Nicola, an excellent restaurant in a peaceful setting with a breathtaking view of the coast from the mouth of the Magra to Versilia.
14/02/2026: Excellent food. Clean. Good wines, nice atmosphere. Couples, for my taste. The only thing I can say is that the waitresses are too serious. A few more smiles would be nice.

23/04/2026: A great experience! We had gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with radicchio and honey, which were nothing short of spectacular. Our main course was a tuna steak, which was also excellent, especially the pairing with the exceptional caramelized red onions. Compliments to the chef, one of the most enjoyable dinners ever.

05/05/2026: Booked for a family lunch on May 1st (there were about ten of us, of all ages).
The menu was arranged with the chef and consisted of: various delicious appetizers, from perch fritters to vegetable and rice pies, a delicious seafood spaghetti and a delicious artisanal ravioli (very Ligurian, with hints of thyme and marjoram), a fresh and crispy anchovy fry, and various desserts (we tried everything on the menu).
Everything was excellent. Thank you for satisfying our very demanding aunts... Very fair price and very central location. We'll be back.
05/05/2026: Set menu of primi secondi and a glass of wine, for only €12. It was good and the service was pleasant. A bit like "home cooking," a great option for a good lunch in La Spezia!

11/03/2026: We came from Japan! The staff were cheerful and helpful, even though we only speak basic English.
The basil pasta and focaccia were great, and the toilets were incredibly clean.

11/06/2026: Aside from the fact that Puerto Venere is very beautiful even though it's not part of Cinque Terre, we ate at La Chiglia and were delighted with the food and the service. Highly recommended.
10/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, with the option of dining at tables on the beach.
Good value for money. I'd just recommend a few more skilled staff for the service, but they're still good.

08/06/2026: Fantastic experience. We ended up at this restaurant by chance and luck. We had an incredibly delicious meal. Absolutely worth it. Additionally, the view of the forest creates a fairytale atmosphere. After dinner, the fireflies show the way back to the car.
30/03/2026: Excellent food, very fresh fish, well-served. Good wine list. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Private place for candlelit dinners. Prices are a little higher, but worth it.
