29/04/2026: It's actually a restaurant/pub, with limited seating, so if you're going on the weekend, book in advance. It's located on the main avenue called Via del Prione, in a small alley. If you arrive by car, you can't enter because it's a pedestrian area, so park elsewhere. The place is small, with a slightly Viking atmosphere. The menu is also in style, with hearty dishes like cheese and cured meat platters made with local products, pork shank (you'll occasionally find goulash), flavorful first courses, including wild boar meat, dressed potatoes stuffed in various ways, and also some good desserts. Let's just say this is a place for carnivores. If you like fish, go elsewhere. They obviously have good craft beers for all tastes, as well as an interesting local wine cellar. If you're traveling with children, the noisy customers and small space make it a bit cramped, and they don't have a children's menu. The food is quite good, and the owners are friendly. The prices aren't low, but La Spezia is now a tourist destination, so it's like that everywhere. Give it a try!

27/04/2026: As for the pub, nothing to complain about, everything was excellent. What you might not expect, besides the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff, was the food (complimentary chef) and the excellent beer. Top, top, thanks for the evening, a big hello from Milan! I hope to return if possible!

A husband and wife team of six tables explain in detail each course from the chalkboard menu with warmth and professionalism. They prepare it with passion, care, and dedication, and then serve it, giving you all the time you need to savor its every nuance. A truly worthwhile place to try; you won't regret it.

05/05/2026: Delicious food! We had the pasta with clams and the pasta with walnut sauce. Both were super good!! At the end we tried the red berries cheesecake that was also superb! The staff were really friendly. They’ve offered us coffee and limoncello at the end. Definitely recommend it!

07/04/2026: Great food, and reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive service. The ambiance is also very appealing, apart from the sharp corners and edges at head height, which really need to be addressed.

10/05/2026: We got some gelato to take home in a tub. Truly EXCELLENT! Timeless flavors like Bacio and Pistachio never disappoint. The almond flavor is excellent; you can taste it all. The fruity flavors are original; anyone who wants to try it can try the basil gelato. 😉 Enjoy your gelato, everyone!

01/03/2026: At the entrance to the beautiful village of Nicola, an excellent restaurant in a peaceful setting with a breathtaking view of the coast from the mouth of the Magra to Versilia.

14/02/2026: Excellent food. Clean. Good wines, nice atmosphere. Couples, for my taste. The only thing I can say is that the waitresses are too serious. A few more smiles would be nice.

05/05/2026: Booked for a family lunch on May 1st (there were about ten of us, of all ages). The menu was arranged with the chef and consisted of: various delicious appetizers, from perch fritters to vegetable and rice pies, a delicious seafood spaghetti and a delicious artisanal ravioli (very Ligurian, with hints of thyme and marjoram), a fresh and crispy anchovy fry, and various desserts (we tried everything on the menu). Everything was excellent. Thank you for satisfying our very demanding aunts... Very fair price and very central location. We'll be back.

05/05/2026: Set menu of primi secondi and a glass of wine, for only €12. It was good and the service was pleasant. A bit like "home cooking," a great option for a good lunch in La Spezia!

23/04/2026: A great experience! We had gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with radicchio and honey, which were nothing short of spectacular. Our main course was a tuna steak, which was also excellent, especially the pairing with the exceptional caramelized red onions. Compliments to the chef, one of the most enjoyable dinners ever.

30/03/2026: Excellent food, very fresh fish, well-served. Good wine list. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Private place for candlelit dinners. Prices are a little higher, but worth it.

28/03/2026: It's hard to find anything wrong with this place. The atmosphere is simple, welcoming, and intimate. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, ranging from seafood to meat and even from the garden, plus three tasting menu options. We were inspired by the menu, and the result was a constant pleasure for the palate...nothing is left to chance. We can't recommend this restaurant enough, one of the best in the province of La Spezia. We'll definitely be back to try the tasting menus.

10/04/2026: My insider tip here in Portovenere: mussels straight from the sea to your plate – you can't get any fresher. The homemade pasta and the meat were also delicious.

07/05/2026: It's a restaurant with a set menu for 30 euros per person: antipasti, two main courses, dessert, house wine, water, and limocello. Everything is delicious. The place isn't large, so it's best to make a reservation. It has an interesting decor, full of trinkets. And the coolest thing is that it operates in what used to be a church, a desecrated church. That's where the restaurant's name comes from, as Judas received 30 denarii to betray Jesus! I loved the experience!
