23/07/2025: Horrible place. We ordered mussel soup — they brought us something that looked like slop on a plate: shrimp full of sand, mussels that smelled rotten. As I expected, I got food poisoning even though I only ate a few. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! _________________ Locale orribile. Abbiamo ordered a zuppa di cozze — I hanno portato a specialty of schifezza nel piatto: gamberi pieni di sabbia, cozze che puzzavano di marcio. Come immaginavo, mi sono intossicata anche se ne ho mangiate solo un paio. Non lo consiglio a nessuno!

26/02/2026: I posted a review on TripAdvisor. The dish didn't match the description (grilled sausages with fries and salad). It consisted of four pieces of sausage on two wilted lettuce leaves, with no other side dish. I returned my plate, saying I wanted the grilled vegetables I'd ordered alongside my sausage. They told me the vegetables were in the oven cooking! My husband had finished his meal when mine finally arrived! For €17 (€12 for the sausage and €5 for the grilled vegetables, consisting of a few thin slices of zucchini and carrots arranged in a star shape on a dessert plate... and practically raw!), and upon my complaint, a small plate of fries, I tried to settle for the bread: stale and inedible! We quickly asked for the bill: €44 for what we ate seemed excessive. They refused to give us the bill, and when I asked again at the counter, I realized that the bottle of tap water was extra, plus the cutlery, plus an exorbitant price for homemade sparkling water. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was met with a cantankerous woman who said hurtful things to me in Italian, witnessed by all the other customers and passersby. We left determined never to return and advised others not to go.

08/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant last Friday and, as expected, the vegetarian pizza and lasagna were very good and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

01/01/2026: Absolutely embarrassing. Microwaved food and awfully rude service. They even tried to scam us with the price that already was overpriced. Never go here unless you want to go to a turist trap with hidden fees!!

05/09/2025: Pitiful. We introduce ourselves politely, ask for a table for two: the red-haired waitress curtly says, "Wait outside," without even a hello. Fine, we wait... thirty seconds. And then, an elderly couple comes up behind us, asks for a table, and presto, magic: they're immediately found a seat. Us? Invisible, swept aside as if we didn't exist. A real comedy, except it's pathetic. Such a lack of consideration and such a mockery is unheard of. Result: an immediate U-turn. Losing customers because of such arrogance and incompetence, hats off!

20/08/2025: I do not recommend this restaurant, which doesn't even deserve to be called that. The €15 menu didn't include anything listed on it. We ordered spaghetti with shrimp, but there were no shrimp on our plates. I asked the waitress about it, and she replied, "I told you it was shrimp sauce." This was completely false. The sauce was industrial, tasteless, and there was no choice of desserts, just three types of industrial pies. Finally, €2 per person was added to the bill. This wasn't listed on the menu, even though it's mandatory. In short, a total disappointment!!!! This restaurant deserves a visit from the financial authorities. Even the receipt is questionable, with no details of what the price corresponds to!!!!!

28/12/2025: A very long wait for mediocre food. The four-cheese pizza (which was actually three-cheese because we were told they were out of mozzarella that day) was so dry and overcooked that it was inedible. A disgrace in Italy. If you're reading this review, don't go there under any circumstances. Avoid at all costs. Terrible service. To top it off, the owner was dishonest, pretending not to notice when we pointed out the problem with the food.

27/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! The worst pizza of my life. When we ordered, they told us there was no more mozzarella—unbelievable in Italy!—and they said they'd have gorgonzola instead, which I've never seen in a calzone. The four-cheese pizza was hard and dry, so we sent it back to the kitchen. Don't bother going anywhere; the service is terrible. I never thought I'd find something like this in San Remo.

29/12/2025: We stopped at Caffé Cavour for an early dinner before heading back to Aix-en-Provence, and it was a truly delightful experience. The owner was incredibly kind and generous, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent—simple yet beautifully prepared—and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We were traveling with our dog, who was treated with great care, which we greatly appreciated. A wonderful place in Ventimiglia. We will gladly return on our next visit.

14/11/2025: Avoid at all costs, a tourist trap!!! One pizza had parchment paper inside and the manager removed it with his fingers, the lasagna was watery (even a frozen one would be better), and another wasn't really that great. Coming to Italy to eat this was disgusting. First and last time!!!
