07/03/2026: Passing through Sanremo for the weekend, this restaurant came highly recommended. And we weren't disappointed! 🤩 First of all, the service was impeccable: incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire meal. The beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere were perfect for us. The food also lived up to the enchanting surroundings: everything was fresh and homemade. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience! 🙌

26/01/2026: We entered, drawn by the 4.4 Google rating, but our first impression was immediately negative: the room was deserted and the atmosphere dull, which should have been concerning. The decor is decidedly dated and ugly, with those red and black rose-patterned tiles that make the space heavy and unwelcoming. As for the food, we were completely disappointed. The prices for the appetizers are very high, which is unjustifiable given the quality. We ate frozen fish and flavorless first courses. The menu is too extensive: there are too many dishes on the menu, and the quality suffers significantly. It's much better to offer a few well-made dishes than thirty poorly executed ones. Paying €40 per person for this experience is a real shame. It seems the chef has lost his passion for good food. A restyling of the restaurant and a thorough overhaul of the menu are absolutely necessary. Not recommended. ————- His response is as childish as it is revealing. You confuse hunger with enjoyment: we finished the (mediocre) ravioli simply because we were hungry, but the tagliolini were left there precisely because they were inedible. Instead of lashing out at the customers' style or making absurd comparisons to France, you should ask yourself why a "historic" establishment serves frozen fish and tasteless dishes. Attacking guests' clothing is the last resort of those who no longer know how to cook. Best regards to you and your rudeness.

04/07/2026: Fish special, bad... The mussels appetizer was small and tasteless. The first course had too many shrimp (which would have been excellent) if they hadn't probably been frozen. The mixed fried fish dish, which is a joke, considering the plate contained 2 shrimp, 5 rings, and 4 piranhas (photo attached). Otherwise, the waitress was friendly, nothing to complain about.

24/07/2026: I had a wonderful time at this ideally located restaurant, perched high above the seafront with breathtaking views. It's exactly the kind of restaurant we love: simple, efficient, with that old-fashioned, authentic Italian charm. The service was impeccable and the food excellent, although the portions were a little small for my taste, and there were no set menus, which quickly added up the bill. I would definitely recommend it; it was a truly lovely experience.

14/06/2026: We came here attracted by the good reviews, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The quality of the dishes was far below average; the pici were unfortunately overcooked, the sauce sticky, and the ragù tasteless. The €7 cover charge for four slices of bread, not even fresh, was unjustified. Furthermore, another sore point: we had booked an outdoor table, which was granted to us, only to arrive to find that the outside area was completely occupied by two tables of very noisy football fans, making it impossible to get an outside table, and we don't know why we weren't informed of this when we booked. The staff was courteous. Given the overall good reviews, we don't know if we came on the wrong night, but unfortunately, we don't recommend it.

06/06/2026: The pasta was overcooked, more for tourists than for Italian pasta lovers. The only exceptions are the pecorino cheese and the really good cured meats. Excellent service.

21/07/2026: Very nice place and pleasant atmosphere. The waiter seemed a little impatient and referred to the menu when we asked what types of drinks they had as we hadn't had time to finish looking at the menu. Maybe it was a little busy there that day. We chose two different pizzas, the pizza base was absolutely perfect. A little lack of flavor in both cheese and sauce. Was not followed up along the way, we could have thought of more drinks and coffee.

15/07/2026: Unfortunately, Google does not allow ONE HUNDRED stars and the maximum limit is 5.... I will try to be concise with just one word: - SPECTACULAR... EVERYTHING we had a romantic dinner for our 14th anniversary, my husband and I, fresh and delicious fish and a beautiful trolley at the entrance... wonderful welcome, excellent food, beautiful place, EVERYTHING PERFECT thank you so much, you made me feel like a princess... one of the most beautiful evenings of my entire life... and then I am a special person, I love unseasoned arugula and natural strawberries and I was FINALLY able to ask for these kindnesses and the staff absolutely did not make me feel uncomfortable for my personal needs. Unfortunately, we don't live in Diano Marina, but I hope to return soon. With the food and service, I was happier here than on my wedding day. I'm just so sorry that, since I was leaving, I couldn't use the ATM and only left a €20 tip, because the tip, with all my heart and ours, is at least FIVE TIMES WORTH IT.... Thank you for letting me experience this "gift" of an evening!!!! We love you, Antonella and Sergio.... ps- The owner's welcome was BEAUTIFUL, considering we hadn't even booked... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU with all our hearts!!!!!!!

20/07/2026: I live in Sanremo, but I've never experienced anything like this. The restaurant wasn't even full; there were plenty of free tables. Initially, they forgot our order, and we waited 40 minutes for our pizza. That's really too long, especially considering that other tables who arrived after us had already finished their food while we were still waiting. Thanks for this service, Barba.
