16/09/2025: Finally, after years of poor management and subpar food, these guys have taken over the place and turned it around. Amazing aperitif, very Milanese style, really good food, and always helpful and courteous staff. The only downside is the limited parking. Keep it up 👏💪🏻

08/09/2025: I tried fish and stopped sometimes to grab a coffee. Fish was ok, nothing too special but good. 13 euros portion.

21/09/2025: Very surprised by the comments describing the excellent food. Has there been a change of ownership recently? We ate the worst pizzas of our lives (no exaggeration, including frozen pizzas). The dough is soft and flavorless, it looks more like a pancake than a real pizza dough. The sauce is like cheap industrial sauce... very little choice of drinks, the pitcher of red wine is undrinkable and full of sediment (I sent it back, it's the first time this has happened to me because I think I didn't expect a great vintage in a pitcher, but this was really bad). I'm giving a second star to the waitress who is friendly and welcoming.

08/09/2025: Another vacation in France, and although we now have our trusted reference points from our cousins ​​across the Alps, we felt the urge for national cuisine. We set out from Menton with the idea of ​​a place in Bordighera we'd seen on Google, but once we arrived, we were drawn to a small outdoor terrace, right on the square where we parked. A pleasant welcome, the kind that makes you feel at home, even though it was almost 9:30 PM. We weren't particularly hungry, so we started with a quick appetizer, farinata with stracchino cheese and fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with clams and ravioli with butter and sage. Now, here's a problem: the farinata is a whole farinata, the anchovies arrive on a (full) serving dish, and then at least 200 grams of ravioli and the same amount of spaghetti with clams arrive. Well, that was a really pleasant problem to deal with! The restaurant's philosophy is "you go to a restaurant to eat," and they keep their promises, not only in terms of quantity but especially in terms of taste. We couldn't have had better expectations. Especially at a truly fair price. Another place added to the "We'll be back" list. Well done!

13/08/2025: We stopped by here by chance and I have to say we were extremely pleased! Home-cooked food with excellent ingredients, extremely welcoming and friendly service. We felt at home, welcomed like a friend. Everything was truly delicious, from the ravioli to the appetizers, to the stew... not to mention the tomatoes. We even bought a bottle of olive oil. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back! Oh, and all this at an extremely reasonable price. PS (the bread, pizza, and savory pie are also excellent).

10/08/2025: We arrived at the end of the service, somewhat by chance, and were greeted with smiles and extreme kindness. The restaurant's unique menu was delicious, featuring fresh, homemade ingredients. Everything is lovingly prepared. The service was impeccable, provided by the grandfather and grandchildren, not to mention the hostess, Silvia. Family, conviviality, and love are the hallmarks of this place. Thank you very much; we will gladly return.

06/09/2025: It used to be much better. Today they bring me tagliolini that tastes like nothing, like pre-cooked Eurospin. I order potatoes, which never arrive. I order salad as a side, which arrives as an appetizer. "Fish of the day: tuna!" I order tuna... half an hour later: "We have a problem, we're out of tuna." I go for mussels. I wish I'd never done that. I'm shitting all day. Not recommended.

15/08/2025: The dishes are carefully prepared, beautiful to look at, and very tasty. I recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking passion for cooking and attentive, courteous, yet unobtrusive, service. Despite the sweltering heat on the coast, the temperature here was cool and very pleasant.

05/08/2025: Fantastic restaurant with the best hostesses and chief 🤩 Service was excellent and food was a Michelin ⭐️ worth 👌👌 Price was very cheap for such a fantastic food. The New York Times risotto tasted great.

20/09/2025: The best sardenaira in the city, in my opinion. Authentic place and very friendly staff, despite being in Liguria. The first courses are also excellent; it's now considered a historic place.

30/08/2025: Dolceacqua salmon! We decided to spend an evening in the charming village of Dolceacqua. We made a reservation and were told we'd be on the terrace! We were seated on the sidewalk, with the head of the table just a few centimeters from the trash can. We ordered three salads with fennel, orange, and salmon: a little of each, and about 10 grams of salmon. The other diners (7) ordered hamburgers: they arrived cold and accompanied by chips, also at room temperature. We asked for bread for the salads: it arrived thin and rubbery. Each salad cost 12 euros for about half a fennel bulb, two orange segments, and 10 grams of salmon. We paid by asking to use Satispay since the logo was on the entrance door. The answer: no, it's no longer in use. After completing the payment, I waited until I was alone and, in a low voice and as politely as possible, expressed my perplexity about my very sad salad! They replied: "Madam, do you know how much salmon costs?" 6 euros for 100g and then... WE'RE IN DOLCEACQUA! I think that in a village full of magic, quality and kindness shouldn't be lacking. 50g of salmon would have been enough, as would two or three more orange segments. For dessert, I would have appreciated a "sorry."

06/04/2025: A small restaurant ideally located facing the sea in a peaceful setting. The service, while pleasant, is unfortunately unusually slow, and the food, with its very limited selection, is nothing exceptional. Ultimately, the value for money is mainly due to the particularly pleasant setting.

24/08/2025: I gave it 5 stars because this is a rare place in a world where people are tired of the traditional and constantly searching for new flavors at prohibitive costs. After tasting typical Ligurian home cooking, you sense the passion of this family, who for years, with their carpasina, have kept the heart of Carpasio alive. The dishes change constantly, but they all share the flavor of traditional cuisine. The simplicity and quality of the local products, in my opinion, make this an experience that grows more and more appreciated each time. Congratulations.
