11/10/2025: Fantastic Stay at Grand Hotel Portovenere! 🌊 I've just had the most magical 3-night stay at the Grand Hotel Portovenere, and I'm already dreaming of going back! This place is an absolute gem, set in a beautifully restored 17th-century convent right on the water's edge. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day. Dining at the Palmaria Restaurant with its stunning panoramic terrace views was an experience in itself. The cuisine was innovative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—a perfect taste of Liguria! Waking up to the view of the colorful harbor and Palmaria Island from our balcony was unforgettable. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming Portovenere and with the ferry to the Cinque Terre literally at your doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, romantic, and utterly satisfying escape, look no further. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

07/12/2025: We entered by chance, the prices seemed fair, the place was very clean, the staff were kind and welcoming, the owner welcomed us in an elegant and impeccable manner, finding every solution for our needs (a 2-year-old daughter, a celiac child and us 2 adults). The hand-made trofie with pesto, the cod and potato appetizer (I don't remember the name of the dish now, but it was also an appetizer) were really good. The grilled calamari was soft. Finally, you have to try their tiramisu! We recommend it!!!

29/11/2025: We found it by pure chance, and as true Neapolitans, notoriously picky when it comes to pizza, we can say without hesitation that this pizzeria won us over!!! The fried pizza, which usually tends to be a bit heavy, is a true revelation here: light, dry, and fragrant, with a dough that almost melts in your mouth. The ingredients are all excellent, from the fragrant tomatoes to the provola cheese, to the full-flavored yet delicate ricotta. The real gem: the cracklings, the real, genuine ones, hard to find even in Naples these days! They add that touch of authentic flavor that makes all the difference and takes you back in time, to the pizzas of yesteryear. And then, and most importantly, the price is very fair, especially considering the quality and care that goes into each dish. In short, a pizzeria that combines authentic Neapolitan tradition with a Neapolitan welcome. We'll be back soon, and with great pleasure! 🍕❤️

09/11/2025: A wonderful discovery in Ventimiglia! Ristorante La Caravella offers authentic and generous Italian cuisine, using fresh ingredients and perfectly executed recipes. The pasta is homemade, the fish cooked to perfection, and the desserts made on-site. Attentive service, a friendly atmosphere, and very reasonable prices for the quality. An excellent local spot that we always return to with pleasure!

27/10/2025: The refuge is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. It's an excellent base for numerous excursions, with a beautiful location in the middle of the forest. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

20/10/2025: I've been to the Casermette del Penna refuge several times for refreshments and have noticed a very familiar and welcoming atmosphere... extremely kind and helpful staff; the cold cuts and cheese platters and aperitifs are excellent, as are the craft beers, on tap or for sale in bottles, which I bought and, according to my dad, are delicious... (I don't usually drink beer); the thick hot chocolate is excellent! The environment is all wooden with a wonderful view of Mount Penna! I have a house in Santo Stefano 'Aveto, but I would really like to experience sleeping in this refuge, I found the atmosphere very warm and pleasant!

12/11/2025: Delicious food, great service and a lovely atmosphere - calm, unrushed and casual, exactly what we were looking for at lunch. The pistachio semifreddo deserves a special mention - one of the best desserts I've ever tried! - as does the sciachetrá with cantucci. Highly recommended

14/10/2025: All I can say is: WOW! The ambiance is very inviting, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food tempts you to go back again, even if you only planned to eat there once. It's a bit cramped, but that didn't bother us. We had really great meals twice, and I can recommend this restaurant to anyone. For me, it's one of the best, if not the best, in Rapallo.

21/10/2025: Beautifully situated on the water, it's incredibly cozy when it gets dark and the lights in the bay come on. The food was good, but nothing more to say. Service is prompt but not entirely up to par with the rules of gastronomy.

02/12/2025: The trattoria has a great atmosphere; you can tell it's a very refined place. I didn't like the staff; they were quite aloof and a bit surly at times, but the table service was prompt. The food was good, not exceptional. The bill was exorbitant for what we ate: two very modest first courses and an equally small second course, which I forgot to photograph. The quality isn't poor, but considering the price, it's questionable. The wine was good. A good trattoria, overpriced, but overall good. I wouldn't return.

17/11/2025: Having booked with The Fork, I contacted the restaurant through the platform to ask about the menu, but received no response. A few hours before dinner, I received a message from the platform saying that the restaurant unilaterally cancelled the reservation because they couldn't contact me. This is impossible, given that it's always possible through The Fork. I'm certain that the fact that I booked with a discount coupon had nothing to do with the incident, but certain things do raise suspicions. I'd heard about the "renowned Genoese hospitality," but starting like this is a bit sad. My compliments, indeed.
