12/10/2025: A restaurant with two chefs, one for starters and one for main courses. The ambiance isn't particularly impressive, both from the outside and inside, and yet... wow, what dishes! Excellent cuisine, a varied menu, especially fish, but also meat, and even vegan (not my cup of tea...). I'd say the main courses are better than the main courses, at least in my experience for four meals for two. The prices are good. In short, you try it once, but you'll definitely return. I don't know of any other restaurants in Varazze, but I think it's one of the best, even compared to neighboring towns or those near the coast (Celle Ligure, Arenzano, etc.). I'll definitely return at the first opportunity. My only concern is that the main course chef is apparently leaving to change careers.

09/11/2025: A wonderful discovery in Ventimiglia! Ristorante La Caravella offers authentic and generous Italian cuisine, using fresh ingredients and perfectly executed recipes. The pasta is homemade, the fish cooked to perfection, and the desserts made on-site. Attentive service, a friendly atmosphere, and very reasonable prices for the quality. An excellent local spot that we always return to with pleasure!

28/10/2025: We had a birthday lunch with a table of 14 people. We all enjoyed the food and the service from the waiter that was really fast and polite, but I have to say that the waiting time for the food to be served was too slow. As a chef myself I do understand how long it takes to plate 14 dishes nicely decorated and all looking the same , this is not an excuse, starting lunch at 12.30 and finishing almost at 5 p.m. But just to rehiterate food was 👍 service was 👍 food coming out of the kitchen not so good. Overall I would go again for a meal as it could have been just an issue with staffing on the day. Also we were seating by the windows and it was sunny and there were no blinds on the windows , some guests had to wear sunglasses at the table. P.S. I left the risotto as I found some sand in it and it was a bit too thick for my liking. The other guests liked it and had seconds.

13/10/2025: A wonderful discovery! The chef uses only fresh, local produce. The presentation of the dishes is very meticulous, the cuisine is excellent, and the seasonings are original. A great selection of French and Italian wines.

14/10/2025: All I can say is: WOW! The ambiance is very inviting, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food tempts you to go back again, even if you only planned to eat there once. It's a bit cramped, but that didn't bother us. We had really great meals twice, and I can recommend this restaurant to anyone. For me, it's one of the best, if not the best, in Rapallo.

The culinary journey begins with a series of appetizers that immediately win you over—fried bread with lard, savory pies, crepes, and much more—and continues with first courses rich in character, such as red wine risotto and polenta with nettles and porcini mushroom cream. The main courses are equally impressive: the roast beef and venison with fried porcini mushrooms are tender and flavorful. But the real highlight comes with dessert: the pistachio meringue, a unique delight that alone is worth the trip. It's not a restaurant located on the main road; it's tucked away in a small village, but perhaps that's what makes it special. Book early, because tables fill up quickly. I'll definitely be back!

21/10/2025: The servers were lovely. However, the food was awful. The pizzas arrived watery, probably due to a rapid thaw. We found two hairs on one of our pizzas... A horrible experience!

25/09/2025: Absolutely the best food and drinks in Sestri Levante! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service from Simone was outstanding, professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. Our dishes came out quickly without ever feeling rushed. This place truly combines top quality cuisine with warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sestri Levante!
