04/05/2025: One of the best fish taverns in Loano, certainly a few steps from the sea, although the external terrace is not directly facing it. For those arriving by car, I recommend parking before the railway level crossing. The seafood salad with artichoke julienne and the potted cod with vegetables are excellent. The manager and chef, who abandoned his profession to realize his dream, knows his stuff. Simple environment, not always cared for: an extra eye would enhance the same dishes better. 29/06/2025: I'm sorry to leave this review as a regular customer for years, but I was really shocked and disappointed by the last experience. We waited for the pizzas for over 50 minutes, in a windowless room, full of people, with only 1 Penguin for everyone... it was at least 35 degrees. I was with two elderly people, and two little girls. It was difficult to leave and find another place to have dinner at that time on a Saturday. Despite the obvious inconvenience, they never asked us how it went, not even at the cashier. It's already not a particularly cheap pizzeria, plus this time we consumed at least double the drinks to counteract the heat while waiting. But they didn't even offer us anything, like a round of drinks, or a house liqueur, or a coffee, as a gesture to apologize for the inconvenience. Not even a free "sorry". These things happen, for goodness sake, but the customer should be compensated. Instead we were totally ignored, as if everything was normal, even though the waitresses themselves, poor things, exhausted by the heat and in a bad mood, entered the room fanning themselves with the menu and banging the hot plates on the table as it happened. The pizza was good, for goodness sake, but there are so many good pizzerias... you don't behave like that with customers, especially regular customers. Mattatoio victim of its own success... the experience was so bad that, even after so many years, I will never return.

15/06/2025: We were here on Saturday, we were 4 couples of friends, very good pizza and the girls were very kind and attentive, being Saturday there was a bit of a wait perhaps due to the fact that the place was full, in my opinion it is synonymous with guarantee, also the spectacular and abundant desserts... 28/04/2025: Super takeaway fryer! Fried seafood, fried calamari, fish and chips. Excellent quality. The only flaw given the super quality and the popular prices I had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Highly recommended.

22/05/2025: For those who want a wonderful and intimate location but also expertly prepared dishes. The staff is of rare kindness and always available to give you suggestions even with some off-menu. A round of applause to those who are not seen (kitchen) who know how to take care of the raw materials with love.

12/05/2025: I was in this beautiful restaurant on Saturday for an anniversary. The thing that strikes you at first glance is the terrace outside, we were certainly lucky because the day was magnificent, perfect weather with the sun beating down but without being suffocating, with a breeze that cradled you while we sipped a good prosecco and (at the end of lunch) enjoyed our coffee. The staff was very kind and welcoming (no small feat) and the food was truly excellent. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.

20/05/2025: Recommended place! I tried the Pilade sandwich and a focaccia: both really tasty. The staff is kind and friendly. The only small inconvenience: there could be a bit of a queue for the bathroom, since there is only one. Must try!

03/06/2025: An experience to repeat. I had never been to Lord Nelson and I will definitely return. Impeccable service, very kind and attentive waiters. The dishes speak for themselves, location on the sea with a view of the Tigullio. Five stars are not enough.
