23/02/2025: Historic place in Bordighera to eat excellent fish. Family run with courteous staff ready to recommend the correct quantity of courses to order based on their portions. You eat very fresh fish with a wide choice available between paper menus and those presented on a blackboard.

15/04/2025: Porta Nizza is a rare find. We came across it today as we toured Ventimiglia old town. The restaurant has a stunning view of the sea, great food (I had escalope with champagne sauce & porcini mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 , my wife Shirley had Lasagne. I don’t normally have pudding 🍮 but they had Tiramisu - and I had to try that - best one I’ve had in years, my wife had chocolate cake which she said was delicious). I finished off with an espresso ☕️ which was nice & strong. Service was prompt and friendly and the entire experience was borderline magical

05/05/2025: Antipático, cuando derramamos un poco de té, pedimos una servilleta para limpiar el desastre, el camarero nos miró y dijo: "Lo limpio", luego nos dejó sentados en la mesa con té caliente por toda la mesa. Fue muy grosero con nosotros desde el momento en que entramos y no quería comida, solo té.

Una rapida consultazione del menu ho deciso di testare l’insalata di mare che per me e’ la cartina al Tornasole dei locali di mare Deludente e’ fare un complimento…prodotto confezionato dal gusto acidulo classico delle Confezioni industriali acquistate nelle GDO, appoggiata semplicemente su un fondo di insalata confezionato. Archiviato questo preambolo…decidiamo di provare la super grigliata mista per 2 al costo di 45 Euro. Piatto importante, per dimensioni ma non per Sapore … nessun valore aggiunto a quanto ognuno può realizzare a casa appoggiando prodotti surgelati su una piastra antiaderente! Servizio buono , cortesia alttettanto , prezzo fuori luogo. Qualità pessima Spiacente ma non consiglio assolutamente Ps …quando si serve pesce senza condimento suggerisco di aggregare al tavolo una buona bottiglia di olio ligure e i condimenti adeguati ma soprattutto non confezionati stile fast food! 30/03/2025: Just passing through, the waiter was very friendly and the owner was very helpful. A complimentary digestif. An excellent seafood paella, a pizza with nothing to complain about. Everyone has their own opinion and taste buds.

28/03/2025: Posto carino,sul mare, il personale di sala molto gentile. La cucina è nella media, il primo che avevo ordinato, spaghetti ai frutti di mare,è arrivato quasi freddo e con pochi frutti di mare. Prezzi un po' alti. Si paga soprattutto l'ubicazione del locale.

23/03/2025: Locale moderno, personale gentile e veloce. Abbiamo optato per delle pizze gourmet... molto molto buone, abbondante farcitura e la pasta digeribilissima. La prossima volta che torneremo a Genova provedere il pesce che, i vicini di tavolo, ci hanno assicurato, molto molto fresco e buono!!!!

02/04/2025: Passing along Via Balbi in the historic center of Genoa near the various universities, I entered this café bar of the well-known chain of typical Genoese cuisine of bars and cafés well present in the city and I had an excellent and delicious coffee at the counter with a small glass of sparkling water. The bar is small with many internal tables in the various internal rooms and is frequented mainly by young university students and it is possible to have breakfast and also lunch. As always in the various Mentelocale venues the strong point is represented by everything really lovely staff welcoming smiling competent kind friendly and helpful. They don't have table service, I think they only do it for lunch and so you have to pay first and then go to the counter and place your order. I will come back another time for lunch. Finally, the prices are really good. Finally the prices are really good.

07/03/2025: Bellissima esperienza: locale molto carino in una cornice davvero unica, personale disponibile e di una cortesia squisita, cibo ottimo con pochi piatti ma molto curati…..la catalana di gamberoni, verdure e frutta e’ stata davvero meravigliosa!! Grazie!
