27/08/2025: I returned here after several years of absence. I found a welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable, fast, professional, and friendly staff, with a smile on their faces (which I'd say is important in the restaurant industry). The food was excellent: well-cooked farinata and pizza with perfect dough. I think next time I'll try the steak, it piqued my curiosity. I'll be back and I recommend it.

23/08/2025: Arrived at 8:15 p.m., reservation made for 8:45 p.m. Returned at 8:45 p.m., table given at 9:20 p.m., order taken 5 minutes later, served 45 minutes later... All this for pizzas that were just passable.

05/12/2025: An amazing coffee served with every kind of care and attention. I felt truly pampered. ...and then the location! You have to see the walls, what walls! The ancient stones of Genoa that almost seem to want to tell a story. ❤️

24/11/2025: For lunch, a set menu featuring a burger of the month, fries, and a drink. Excellent meat, fresh and plentiful, with a top-notch selection of ingredients. Fresh potatoes, cut "rustic" with the skin on and fried to perfection. Excellent value for money. The only complaint was that the atmosphere was a bit chilly, perhaps due to the constant opening of the automatic door.

26/10/2025: Excellent burger 🍔 double! Everything was good, plentiful, and tasty, and not too heavy compared to other burgers I've tried. I'll definitely be back!

13/03/2026: Fine food, elegantly prepared, attentive service, but too expensive even for Riomaggiore. A glass of local white wine for €12 is too much, even if it really does come directly from Riomaggiore. Portions are very small.

10/03/2026: First courses with fish that was half fresh and half inedible. High prices for mediocre, if not poor, quality. The waiter was friendly, but then you could see him smoking as soon as he came out and then continuing to serve without even washing his hands. When it came time to pay, I think the owner made us wait while she picked up another table's dessert order. The quality/price ratio was not up to par. I won't be returning.

The outdoor seating is simply beautiful, perfect for enjoying the weather, but the indoor dining rooms also offer a warm and relaxing atmosphere. ​Honorable mention goes to the professional, impeccable, and extremely polite staff. You can sense their passion and care for their customers in every gesture. ​If you're in Cogoleto, OroNero is a must-see. Trust us, it's worth a try!

25/02/2026: For years, every time we stay in Imperia, we've made it a must to have lunch and dinner at "their" place. A very unique couple, yet, in their own way, refined, simple, attentive, and professional, they own this small but incredible restaurant. We've never been there without being absolutely thrilled with what they've dished up for us. Be careful! Not only if you choose the "à la carte" options, but also their "menus of the day," always offered at a price that, for many, might raise questions about their substance and quality, are simply formidable. The very small and cramped atmosphere, especially if the weather forces you to retreat inside, shouldn't make you want to give up, provided there's a seat! Goodbye, friends, thank you, thank you, thank you!

21/02/2026: The atmosphere could be made a little "warmer" with paintings or something else, but they are really kind and we ate well. I recommend it.

07/12/2025: The pizza was of a very normal standard, even too much so, but surprisingly we ate an excellent farinata. Overall, thanks also to the price, it's worth it for an evening with friends.

24/02/2026: La Ola is a magnificent place. I've been coming here for years and honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It's a unique place: a terrace overlooking the sea, like being on a yacht at anchor. You're literally on the open sea, both in the interior dining room with its large windows overlooking the water and on the enchanting terrace nestled among the rocks. I had lunch with an all-seafood menu: fish first course, fish second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee... only 20 euros. But what's truly impressive is the quality of the food, combined with a setting of rare beauty. It fills your heart with the light, the scent of the sea, and the authentic atmosphere you breathe. 16/02/2026: Cozy little place in Monterosso. We came with a tour group and had a set menu. The food was very good; from seafood salad, to Trofie Al Pesto pasta, to tiramisu with a rich coffee flavor for dessert. Wine and a bottle of water naturale was included. We also shared an order of calamari that was lightly battered, tender and tasty. Service was prompt and courteous.

03/10/2025: I didn't eat here, but getting on in age I found myself in the embarrassing situation of a desperate need to use a toilet. The restaurant was virtually empty when I made my request. A young girl turned me down , three times despite my pleas . 🥺 . Luckily I managed to get to the next restaurant. A very bad experience

26/07/2025: Ristorante pizzeria in una via un po fuori dal centro di monterosso con un menù a base di pesce e qualche altro piatto ed è pure pizzeria. Ho mangiato una insalata di polipo eccezionale gustosa e abbondante accompagnata da una vellutata di patate buonissima. Poi trofie con pesto e patate veramente buone. Peccato per le cozze ripiene da cui mi aspettavo di più in quanto si sentiva solo il ripieno molto abbondante e le cozze così sono sparite. Peccato perché avrei dato volentieri il punteggio più alto Servizio puntuale e cordiale. Prezzi nella media per queste località

25/10/2025: I asked for a package of 18 "borghesini" (as they're called here) to give to my guests, and I ended up with 14 in the package, resulting in a huge embarrassment. Also, the chocolates are much smaller than those found elsewhere. I hope this wasn't intentional, especially since the price paid was for 18. Chaotic and disorganized place
