04/10/2025: We liked it so much we came back the next evening! We had beef tartare, fried pizza, zucchini flowers, ciauscolo crostini, fried lamb ribs, peposo, fettuccine alla campagnola, lombricelli with broccoli, and cheese selections. Everything was delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. It's just a few minutes' walk from the center. Definitely worth a try.

Quality ingredients, mouth-watering first courses, and the main courses featuring their own farm-raised pigs. Attentive and friendly service. The dining room is spacious, but with well-spaced tables. I hope they have a policy—perhaps one already exists—that prioritizes quality over quantity. Highly recommended.

28/09/2025: My partner and I spent two nights in Viterbo. It was right across the street from our vacation rental, and we decided to have a few wines. The next morning, we had breakfast there, and in the afternoon, when they had a wine tasting with great music, we went back again. The owners are lovely and treated us wonderfully. The atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. If we return to Viterbo, we will definitely come back.

07/10/2025: A trip to Tuscia, to this delightful and quiet village. The restaurant, though a bit cramped and sprawling, is very well-decorated and welcoming. Following the general recommendation, we opted for mushrooms, which, admittedly, were somewhat undercooked in the fettuccine, which negated their aroma and texture. The chickpea and chestnut soup, however, was good. For main course, a sliced ​​steak with arugula and mushrooms, which wasn't particularly successful, and a polenta with porcini mushrooms and sausage. Overall, we were a bit disappointed, primarily by the mushrooms featured, at least in the dishes we chose, almost like a dussel, a preparation more suited to mushrooms than to the king of porcini mushrooms. But we probably just ordered the wrong thing. Service was friendly, the bathroom impeccable. With a glass of Sangiovese, the bill came to about €80 for two.

12/09/2025: My experience at La Ballaccia di San Martino was beyond positive. A beautiful location in the main square, where I enjoyed an excellent pan-fried mushroom and potato dish, all washed down with an excellent bottle of wine. The staff were impeccable 👏

18/09/2025: For us, it was the best value for money restaurant in that neighborhood, with very friendly, authentic Sardinian service and cuisine. Large portions for a low price. The Sardinian bread (almost chips) is excellent here because it's freshly baked with coarse salt and sparkling olive oil.

The freshness and quality of the ingredients combined with the attentive service ensure they will never be disappointed. 04/08/2025: Una conferma assoluta. Posto molto molto bello, con un giardino eccezionale, reso ancor più suggestivo dall’ottimo gusto dei proprietari x l’arredamento. I prodotti usati sono sinonimo di qualità e di una scelta accurata delle materie prime nelle proposte del menù. Abbiam optato per la pizza stavolta che ci ha ampiamente soddisfatto. La cosa però che vorrei sottolineare è l’estrema cortesia di tutto lo staff e in particolare la gentilezza di altri tempi del proprietario che sia durante la cena che prima di andar via ci ha tenuto a salutarci di persona chiedendo se tutto fosse andato bene…. Torneremo sicuramente anche perché probabilmente è uno dei ristoranti più belli della città… e più attenti al cliente….grazie mille per la bella serata.

We found a comfortable, clean, well-ordered environment, and in addition to this, the dishes that were served to us were good. Then, we wanted to praise the waitress who served us, whose name we do not know, but she had glasses, and a bob cut, brown in color, who was truly very kind, thoughtful, and professional. We will definitely return since we had a great time, not only for the food, but above all for the service that the waitress gave us.
