05/10/2025: What can I say? A place where the art of Benito and his family continues with love and courtesy to all their customers. I've been several times for lunch and dinner, and I have to praise everyone, including the kitchen and the waiters. Fine, authentic cuisine, rooted in tradition. Located in the historic center of Velletri, this restaurant welcomes guests in a rustic, warm, and familiar setting, where the atmosphere is authentic and convivial. The cuisine is home-style and faithful to Velletri's traditions: flavorful dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The pasta is homemade, and it shows: authentic, flavorful, and with that artisanal touch that makes all the difference. Each course is well-cooked and plentiful, perfect for those who love good, old-fashioned cuisine. The staff is truly impeccable: kind, smiling, and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. Not to mention the wine cellar, stocked with their own wines: we tasted one of their wines and it was truly delicious, perfect for accompanying lunch. The homemade desserts were also excellent, a perfect ending to a quality meal. The only complaint was the wait between courses, which was slightly longer than expected. No big deal, though, because overall we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. In short, La Vecchia Taverna is an authentic, welcoming, and quality restaurant, perfect for those seeking authentic flavors and a warm, rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a pleasant lunch in the heart of Velletri.

19/08/2025: A truly enjoyable evening! The staff was extremely kind and professional. The table settings were elegant and meticulously crafted. I ordered the tartare with a glass of wine, expertly recommended by the waiter. Everything was simply perfect!

18/05/2025: A very pleasant experience for the palate that is surprised by a truly successful gourmet cuisine. Fish is the king of the restaurant and the chef knows how to treat it as such, enhancing its aromas and flavors. An experience to be repeated by associating the meal with the cocktail path (a different cocktail for each course).

15/08/2025: We've been to Piaderia La Romagnola several times... what can we say? Excellent piadinas (the ingredients include lactose-free mozzarella!!), delicious and light fried foods... the sandwiches are also a must-try!! A very cute, clean place with lots of customer service, unlike anything you've found anywhere else! There's an electrical outlet near every table, a children's corner with markers and paper, and a changing table, bin with diapers, wipes, and a tampon box in the bathroom!! Truly fantastic!!!! The staff is always available and super friendly!!! Congratulations!!! 100% recommended!!

05/10/2025: Very homey and comfortable place. The owner is friendly. The porchetta and appetizers are exceptional.

12/09/2025: A traditional osteria serving excellent quality food, with a very friendly and professional host. We ordered a full menu with mixed antipasti, including the delicious porchetta, the homemade fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms, a dish you'll fall in love with, and for our main course, a slice of steak marinated by the host that melted in your mouth. A homemade dessert and a red wine by the glass that rivaled even the bottled ones. To date, this is the best trattoria in Vercelli. And finally, the reasonable price is the icing on the cake.

20/10/2025: I had placed an order when it arrived at home the salmon had a strange smell and had some dark parts, in fact that evening we all felt sick

28/09/2025: I'm leaving this less than stellar review after many years of frequenting the restaurant, because unfortunately, in my opinion, the quality of the food has declined (that was the only reason we preferred this à la carte restaurant to other all-you-can-eat options). The dishes are bland and flavorless. They completely forgot some of the dishes from the first order, which arrived much later than we requested. The dishes were very slow to clear from the table between orders. The first time I came about 10 years ago, the quality was of a different kind. Sorry.

12/10/2025: We happened upon it by chance and it was a pleasant experience (to be repeated). Mr. Ezio is very knowledgeable and a delightful person, as is his staff. The food is good and you can feel the research and experience. Everyone is well done. We will definitely be back.

12/09/2025: Bad experience! We had dinner at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I can't say we were satisfied, quite the opposite! We started with the appetizer, ordering a mixed seafood appetizer, which they call "sea food fantasy." The dishes were good but nothing spectacular, very small portions and anything but imaginative. Lastly, they brought us the sautéed mussels. We already knew from the smell that something was wrong, so we tasted them and the flavor was horrible. We called the waitress to let her know, and she apologized and had them remade for us. Incidentally, the table next to us also sent the mussels back. Another portion of mussels arrived that smelled even worse than the previous ones!!! We didn't even try them... we sent them back!! The best part came when we got the bill, which was quite expensive for what we ate. The seafood appetizer was charged in full. When we complained about it, the girl at the cashier replied that the mussels were part of the appetizer and therefore shouldn't have been deducted. Somewhat questionable reasoning. We then asked for ice cream for our daughter, those little dolls with ice cream inside, and they made us pay for it! So we expressed our disappointment and told the girl that we wouldn't be seeing them again, and she completely brazenly replied, "Okay, fine." A little tip: don't treat customers like that!

09/05/2025: Discovered this place during an aperitif. The spaces are well looked after and the staff is very friendly. The outdoor space is really nice! I will definitely return and recommend it.

07/10/2025: I walked in and there was no one at the counter. I mean, no one. I called, no answer. After 5 minutes, a young girl came in through the front door...she apologized. So I could have gotten a chocolate or something...maybe no one would have noticed.
