A friend of mine and I were there, and by chance we discovered this fantastic osteria. Excellent food, especially fresh and all made to order. Very polite and friendly owners. Highly recommended. I will gladly return.

Two of my friends and I stumbled upon this place by chance while we were on vacation. We were greeted with the phrase, "Time has stopped here, and in fact the clock is broken." In reality, time itself is literally lost in this place. The restaurant is furnished and decorated in an original way, with a mix and match of objects, each with its own story, but which together create a welcoming atmosphere. The flavors, aromas, and appearance of the dishes are those of times gone by; some think of a mother's cooking, others a grandmother's, but the chef is a man who was taught that the fundamental ingredient in cooking is the heart, and you can taste it in every "simple" traditional dish from these wonderful areas of the Castelli Romani. The service is impeccable; all the dishes were described and presented perfectly, and all expectations were far exceeded! There are just a few tables, and it's beautiful how, so naturally, the guests begin to interact with each other, as if it were a family dinner. The icing on the cake, but we know it was a stroke of luck and that it's not always possible, was being able to visit "the underground" of the underground, a journey through time through a series of caves that allow you to experience the history of this city and its stratifications, as well as the passage of man throughout history and which concludes in a cave, where effectively "time has stopped".

A charming place. The food is delicious, with traditional Roman dishes, some with a modern twist. The staff is super friendly; the host comes out of the kitchen to chat with guests and explain the dishes, which are truly prepared with love. We were lucky enough to also visit the magical underground cellars. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience. Everything was delicious. From the appetizer platter, one of the best I've ever had, to the first course and side dish. All the dishes were delicious and high-quality, cooked with passion by the owner. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Two wonderful hosts, Sarah and Dino, are very welcoming, offer fantastic food, and are also budget-friendly. And if you just want to try a few things, you can share a meal 😉 - Definitely order the appetizer 👌🏻

On our way back from a visit to Sermoneta, we stopped at this osteria... well, an excellent choice! Freshly made fettuccine, delicious mushroom soup, and super friendly service. I would have even happily ordered dessert because it looked so promising. Not to be missed.

Eating at Sotterraneo is like going home to grandma's, but with an added touch of class. The quality is excellent: home-made dishes that are surprisingly innovative. Special praise goes to the owner: a true professional, extremely attentive to the customer and very thorough in explaining every detail of the menu. You feel welcomed and given the best advice. An excellent experience, I will definitely be back!

Everything was truly delicious. A special mention for the porchetta, it melted in your mouth. Dino is a true host.
