A somewhat controversial establishment, with an undefined retro atmosphere, somewhere between post-war and vaguely Romanesque. The owner is very polite, but the service lacks precision and attention to detail. The food is appreciable for its "homemade" elements and generally pleasant, though it doesn't excel in any area. Given the not particularly low prices, it's difficult to determine its target clientele, but the food isn't bad, and the atmosphere is overall quiet and intimate enough, without pretension. You can try it out of curiosity. Opening hours aren't always strictly adhered to.

I expected first courses worthy of the location, but both the gricia and the cacio e pepe were disappointing.
The rest of the dishes were decent, but they were soaked in oil.
The location was lovely, and praise goes to the dining room and kitchen staff, who were very friendly.

It's a good place to be, the food is excellent, the place is welcoming and truly beautiful...you don't need anything else to spend time at lunch or dinner.

Family atmosphere, freshly prepared dishes, handmade pasta. We had a generous and varied antipasto, the handmade fettuccine with oxtail sauce—I recommend it, it's amazing; the tripe in sauce is tender and flavorful; the porchetta is cooked to a light consistency; the crumbled cake with lemon cream reminded me of the cream my grandmother used to make... and finally, the visit to the cave, a subterranean area 6 meters below street level with many tunnels, undoubtedly from the Roman era or earlier, very well preserved, and featuring wonderful, glittering stalactites. The restaurant staff was very welcoming and friendly. We'll be back!

We were there last Friday for the first time, everything was delicious, excellent food, excellent service, the cream as a final dessert was exquisite, you can taste the flavour of the food, I had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, handmade, it was excellent, the meat was exceptional, congratulations to everyone Massimiliano from Colleferro ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Welcoming restaurant, discovered while strolling through the center of Velletri on a Saturday morning during the Christmas holidays: excellent cuisine, high-quality ingredients, and a friendly chef.
We enjoyed the excellent homemade pasta (both the gnocchi with ragù and the fettuccine alla velletrana), exceptional tripe (the best I've ever eaten), and, last but not least, delicious porchetta. All in a very pleasant and intimate setting. Absolutely not to be missed!

I think choosing to eat at the same restaurant on two consecutive nights is significant.
A friend from Milan came to visit and wanted to eat typical Roman food. Since I live downtown, I opted for a restaurant I wasn't familiar with, but had heard good things about, and we had such a great time that we decided to return the next night.
The amatriciana was especially noteworthy. Perhaps the best either of us had ever had. It's truly worth trying once. The pasta is made and cooked to order, and we've never had such perfect guanciale.
The appetizers were good, and although I'm not usually a fan of porchetta, on the second night I asked for it as a main course and not just as an appetizer. They make it themselves, and it's truly exceptional.
The atmosphere is also excellent, and the owner makes you feel right at home.
We absolutely recommend it.
