02/11/2025: We happened to be in Subiaco for a day trip, we decided to eat in this very cute little restaurant, friendly and kind.... abundant and delicious dishes... spectacular baked pumpkin, equally spectacular chocolate cream... amazing fried polenta and so on... If you want to eat authentic and above all good food, this place is highly recommended!!! 😋😋😋

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the menu celebrates local products, with simple yet carefully prepared dishes. Each course showcases the region, while also offering a few more creative options. The wine list is varied and excellent. In short, a perfect place for those seeking quality, tradition, and a genuine gastronomic experience. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: I was here for lunch. The appetizers were very good (parmigiana, polenta with cream cheese, and baked ricotta with meat sauce) and the homemade first courses. The portions were generous. The staff was very friendly, and you could eat at your leisure, as they weren't rushed to clear the table. The setting is stunning.

We needed a couple of days off, and our stay at Santa Scolastica truly recharged us.
Smiles and kindness were the qualities we appreciated in all the staff.
The accommodation was basic but absolutely clean and comfortable, and the food exceeded our expectations. I hadn't had an amatriciana with homemade tonnarelli pasta this good in a long time, and the main courses and desserts were also excellent.
The guided tour of the facility was lovely, with extremely kind and patient guides.
Shopping at the herbalist's shop was a must.
Nature did the rest.

17/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, with quality food and a wine list. The restaurant is well-kept and offers a convivial atmosphere, perfect for an informal Sunday lunch. The only flaw is the service: the staff is friendly and courteous, but a little more organization would be useful, perhaps due to the high attendance on the day we ate there.
Highly recommended!

27/07/2025: Oggi con amici siamo andati a fare un'escursione su monte autore campo Dell l'osso monte livata, dopo l'escursione siamo andati a pranzo dai miei amici Maurizio e Irene del cristallo di neve, passano gli anni ma qualità delle materie prime e i piatti non cambiano sempre tutto buonissimo. Se capitate a monte livata campo de l'osso vi consiglio questo ristorante non ve ne pentirete, grazie ancora a Maurizio e Irene e tutto il loro staff per la splendida giornata ❤️

06/11/2025: Simply wonderful, a truly well-kept place, traditional dishes with a little poetic license that never hurts. I find the combination of fruit and meat exceptional. Prices are in line with the service offered, and they accept dogs. We'll be back.

Everything was truly amazing!!! Valentina and her father are two professional, kind people, ready to welcome you in a warm way.
The dishes are super delicious and tasty.
The desserts, especially the legendary tiramisu made by Valentina, I could have eaten more than one. 😁😁😁😁

09/12/2025: I'd like to follow up on a report from my friend who highlighted the restaurant owner's "rudeness," which is confirmed by her response.
I'll start by saying that we ate very well, but unfortunately, I feel the quality of the food wasn't matched by the hospitality the owner gave us.
We asked to squeeze into one table, as we were a group of friends, so as not to leave two people out, and we had a child with us.
The owner immediately became stiff and made us feel completely uncomfortable, as if we were asking for something unthinkable, when in fact we had settled in quickly and efficiently. In particular, she accused me of having too much hair, which might bother those at the next table. They too were shocked by this not only stiff, but rude behavior.
In fact, we were favoring her by freeing up a table for two, which was promptly re-occupied.
Unfortunately, being so rigid is a trait that doesn't align with the hospitality expected of the owner of a place open to the public.
Being rude, even less so.
We accommodated all the owner's requests, so as not to cause her further embarrassment, since she was visibly upset and incapable of "fixing" the situation.
08/12/2025: The place is beautiful, the guy at the grill is very kind, the owner is embarrassingly rude!
