15/06/2025: Tasty appetizer. Tasty first courses (we had seconds). Quality home cooking, we ate outside with a view of the green mountain of Livata. We had a great time. It's also nice to see mother and daughters who run the business with so much passion. Congratulations.

07/06/2025: Hospitality, cordiality and professionalism: three simple adjectives to describe today's experience at "l'allegra locanda". Pina and her daughters will know how to welcome you and make you feel at home, and then delight you with typical dishes of Calabrian cuisine and more. The quality of the products will also make the culinary experience unique. P.S. highly recommended are both the fusilli alla cosentina made as per tradition with the so-called "ferretto" and the chicken thigh "alle tre cotture", in addition to the tiramisu and the perfectly fried cruschi peppers (a rarity in these parts). 22/06/2025: Sunday lunch: nice and cozy place, attentive but never intrusive dining room service. We had as an appetizer an egg with truffle on a nest of crispy potatoes (spectacular in the presentation and astonishing in the taste), two first courses: a pappardella filled with potatoes and porcini mushrooms (beautiful to look at and very pleasant to taste); a tricolor gnocchi (beautiful to look at but the taste lacked that extra kick); two second courses paired with their side dishes (good and not banal) and two desserts (a very fun deconstructed tiramisu and a delicious creme brulee) water and coffee. 115 euros for the experience offered price perfectly in line with the offer. everything plated, presented and served with care with new and pleasantly surprising combinations. Definitely worth trying the summer menu put on the table soon. We will be back.

15/06/2025: One word to describe it: Superb! The creamed cod appetizer was very good, the Gricia was perfect, the cockerel and lamb were amazing! Good wine list, prices in line with the excellent quality of the raw materials. I will definitely be back.

28/06/2025: Truly an excellent experience at this restaurant in Subiaco! The service was impeccable, with special attention that we particularly appreciated, especially towards my parents. The staff was kind, helpful and very attentive, making us feel at home. The food was delicious, with traditional dishes carefully prepared and fresh ingredients. The environment is welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a quiet evening with the family. A stop that I absolutely recommend to those who want to eat well and feel pampered. We will definitely be back!

03/06/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di buon cibo e atmosfera accogliente, il Cristallo di Neve è il posto che fa per voi. Piatti eccezionali, dagli antipasti ai dolci non sbagliano un colpo. Che sia per un pranzo o per una pausa caffè - aperitivo è disponibile una vasta scelta di distillati che fanno la differenza. Attenzione e cortesia di camerieri e di Maurizio ti fanno sentire a casa con la voglia di non andare più via. Torneremo sicuramente sia in coppia ma anche per passare una giornata in famiglia vista la tranquillità del posto, per rigenerare mente e corpo. Continuate così!!!

15/06/2025: Very good location to use as a base for visiting Subiaco, but especially the two Monasteries of Santa Scolastica and San Benedetto, with the Sacro Speco. Spartan rooms with less than impeccable cleanliness, good food and fantastic location.

06/07/2025: After a VERY HOT morning around Subiaco we were welcomed by this restaurant, a bit by chance honestly. Well we were very lucky because we were able to taste truly excellent dishes. For me, strozzapreti di grano arso with white pork ragù, but I also saw excellent pork loin with apricots and fillet with plums and cesanese. Also excellent were the grilled vegetables and the tiramisu served in an original way. Really kind staff and the owner a truly friendly and helpful person. It is definitely worth returning.
