I went for lunch on Saturday with some friends. It was a truly beautiful place with fantastic first courses and meats, excellent wine, and amazing wine donuts filled with sour cherry jam, all topped off with a warm welcome from the owner and his staff. I highly recommend this place because it's truly worth it.

A modern venue with truly remarkable authenticity. In addition to the à la carte menu, there are also off-menu options, often featuring local products. The wine selection is extensive, and the local ones, such as Cesanese, are especially worth trying. Some wines are also available by the glass, as well as by the bottle.

We found this restaurant by chance on Valentine's Day weekend. We were immediately greeted by a very kind young man who served us throughout the evening, and he was the only one who managed everything very well. The only downside was that he really disappointed us with a request for a truffle on the tagliata (which supposedly costs €5 on the tartare). On the receipt, both tagliata were increased by €3 (yes, we ordered two). And on top of that, the receipt showed an additional €1.50 for the truffle. Somewhat confused, I asked for more information and was told the additional charge was €8... yes, maybe I should have told you. I'm not one to make a fuss about €1 or €2, but here, between the cover charge (not listed anywhere) and this strange addition... €12 was added to the bill. What a shame!

We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, as was the service. The braised pork cheek and spare ribs are highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

I expected much more. The sausage focaccia was very good. The rib-eye steak wasn't very flavorful, and the pork ribs were super spicy and a bit strong—let's just say not quite what I expected. The waiter was friendly. The desserts were very good. The prices were too high for what I ate.

After spending the day at Monte Livata, we headed downstairs, determined to avoid the traffic. They had us eat at 4:00 PM: a fantastic lunch! Special mention goes to the potato and broccoli flans, the wild turnip tops, and the gluten-free Catalan cream. The pork shank, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles, the baked potatoes, the tiramisu, and the cabaret franc we drank were also second to none! Fantastic!!! A very beautiful and welcoming place. Simple but expertly prepared cuisine without too many unnecessary frills, and an excellent wine cellar!!! The price is absolutely in line with the quality: money well spent! A place to remember and one we'll definitely return to!!!
