We just stayed at the Foresteria di Santa Scolastica, and it wasn't our first time. As always, the rooms were spotless, and the service was very courteous and friendly. I also recommend the restaurant, where the food is more than excellent and the portions are generous.

Welcoming, helpful, and familiar. Clean rooms, good, high-quality food, and tidy spaces for conversation and gatherings. A charming location overlooking Subiaco and simple furnishings. The guided tours "by donation" are a great idea. The guides are knowledgeable and convey a passion for art and culture. Everything reflects a monastic culture. We will definitely return!

A place rich in spirituality, art, and history! A pleasant welcome and stay for an experience of prayer and peace. Suitable for families, individuals, or groups, with the option of excursions. The nearby lake south of the monastery, complete with waterfall, can be reached via a beautiful nature trail.

The location of the Foresteria di Santa Scolastica is absolutely stunning. The facility is hospitable and well-organized, and the welcome is professional, cheerful, and very helpful. The Chapel with its Angels is a balm for all hearts. The restaurant is good, and the dining room staff was very efficient and organized, even in a challenging situation like New Year's Eve dinner. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and welcoming. The temperature could be improved, especially on the third floor. Overall, a wonderful three-day vacation in a marvelous place surrounded by so much beauty to discover. A visit recommended for everyone, including those with pets.

03/05/2026: Truly excellent! Quality products and unique flavors...a little tip for takeout: you can't put fries in such a small container because they'll boil over and, unfortunately, they're not pleasant to eat; a larger container is necessary. Otherwise, everything was more than perfect!
15/03/2026: A great idea for a different kind of dinner, starting with the fantastic bao and the variety of sauces to accompany the sides and all the sandwiches on the menu! The unusual vegetarian options are also noteworthy, even for dessert! The service was friendly and welcoming from the moment I confirmed my reservation. I'll definitely be back!

15/04/2026: Excellent pizza. Chicken and vegetables or pasta dishes as well. Not much room inside to eat. Staff are polite out of duty, but not truly friendly. Almost as if they don't listen to customers except out of duty. Not a positive impression.
24/03/2026: We discovered POPI PIZZA quite by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The welcome was extremely friendly: the woman who served us was lovely and very attentive. Even though we didn't speak the same language, she made a real effort to communicate with us with a smile, which touched us deeply. She offered to let us eat in, to reheat our pizza slices, and also suggested drinks to accompany our meal. A simple but much appreciated gesture. As for the food, everything was excellent. I chose a slice of mozzarella pizza, which was flavorful, generous, and perfectly balanced. My husband opted for the vegetable pizza, which was equally delicious and well-topped. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. We truly have nothing but positive things to say about this place: a warm welcome, thoughtful touches, and high-quality pizzas… A simple but genuine place that deserves to be discovered.
