A delicious lunch; my guests were amazed by the deliciousness of the appetizers: the fettuccine alla ciociara (truly superb), roast lamb for the younger guests, and a mouth-watering pork shank with potatoes. Dessert at the end: a wonderful zuppa inglese. The service was relaxed because the food is freshly prepared. Thank you, see you next time.

A very positive experience. The restaurant is welcoming and has a beautiful view. We ate very well, especially the pappardelle with wild boar, which was truly delicious. We finished with a truly remarkable millefeuille, which tasted just like the one my beloved grandmother used to make. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Well done!

Such a pretty restaurant with a great atmosphere!! There are a lot of cats in front, and they are so cute, regardless of the people. The owner is also very kind, and everything from the main course to the truffle pasta and meat dishes was so delicious that I was very happy. The pasta had a lot of mushrooms and had a great flavor, and the meat was so tender that if you remove the bones and skewer it, all the meat falls off. ㅋㅋㅋ I went there on the way to Subiaco, so it might be difficult for tourists to go there, but anyway, it was the best restaurant.

The place may seem like it's from the Ancien Régime, but the view and the delicious dishes are worth a stop without hesitation; resting your eyes and mind on the terrace is a real plus.

09/04/2026: A historic Roman restaurant. I gave it three stars only because I think the quality/price ratio is excessive. The five stars for both service and ambiance are deserved: the staff is extremely friendly, and the place is meticulously maintained. It's certainly a place that's part of Rome's history, but perhaps I wouldn't recommend it as a must-eat if you're only in the city for a few days.
06/04/2026: The food here is good - nothing special and certainly not worth the high prices. Polpette, amacitriciana and chicken were all fine, salad, verdure and potatoes were just fine. You can absolutely find the same dishes half the price elsewhere in Rome, including the nearby market. I was shocked that our bill came to 80 euros. Service was curt, disinterested and generally seemed resentful of customers, in fact they brought us the wrong chicken dish but we didn’t think it was worth it to catch their attention and change it. They seem to be relying on their historical reputation in the rione but there are much better choices nearby.
