22/01/2026: Highly recommended! A wonderful example of top-quality cuisine fused with homemade flavors. This small restaurant is worth a visit, so it's worth booking a few days in advance. It's worth it for the food, the service, and the wonderful feeling of welcome you experience. Truly exemplary! The fondue and sausage gnocchi are exceptional, not to mention the house appetizers (truly superb).

01/02/2026: Everything was truly delicious, from the raw fish tasting to the steaks to the desserts. The revisited Jewish-style artichokes with a special sauce were also excellent. The rustic atmosphere was very nice... just a little noisy.

24/01/2026: We celebrated a birthday with 50 people here at Borgo del Cacchione and were very satisfied. The room reserved for us was very welcoming, the staff were extremely kind and attentive, and the dishes were exquisite (Roman specialties, meat, and excellent vegetarian options). Everything went perfectly thanks to the team's professionalism and their attention to detail.

13/02/2026: Excellent artichoke experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious dinner at Valerio in Grottaferrata. I tried the appetizer with artichokes, arugula, and parmesan (very fresh) and the first course with artichokes, guanciale, and pecorino cheese, which was truly flavorful and well-executed. Quality ingredients and friendly service. Recommended if you're in the area.

04/02/2026: Very nice restaurant, excellent service, dishes made with top-quality ingredients. I went there because I was craving pappardelle with wild boar, and I have to say I was amazed! 30/11/2025: Wonderful place. We dined inside, but I'll be back to experience dining with a breathtaking view. Excellent food, friendly staff, and an absolutely excellent bill. The steak is huge and excellent quality. For work, I often eat at restaurants around Italy, and I can guarantee that this restaurant is a surefire winner for quality and fair prices. I've already passed the business card on to a couple of friends.

03/02/2026: We ate yesterday at this truly special place. As soon as you walk in, you immediately sense its authenticity. It's like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is superb (the portions are equally superb), and the staff are friendly! It took us 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it.

01/02/2026: I visited this restaurant with my wife, and what can I say? The good food and generous portions put it above average for castles. The restaurant has a very charming country-chic feel, although in my opinion, there are too many seats and it's quite cramped. The service is also quite attentive and friendly. From what I've written, some might wonder why it's given 3 stars. The reason is simple: I found the prices quite high for the quality of the food, but let's take things in order: The €4 cover charge per person, which includes table settings and service, would suggest something high-end, but the glasses and cutlery were dull. For that price, cutlery and glasses should shine. The food here is also quite high-priced. I have no complaints about the quality of the ingredients, but if you're charging €18 for a plate of tortelli, I expect them to be the right shape and not fall apart during cooking. We paid €91 for two appetizers, two first courses, and a dessert with a bottle of water. I think the bill is a bit overpriced. In my humble opinion, the correct bill would have been between 75 and 80 euros.

The portions are generous, and the quality is truly excellent, from appetizers to main courses. All in all, the price was very fair. Definitely worth a try.

09/12/2025: We chose the old village as the location for our wedding on October 25th. What can I say? We couldn't have made a better choice. The staff immediately proved to be highly knowledgeable and ready to fulfill our every wish. The location is truly breathtaking; as soon as we entered, we had no doubts: this was the perfect place for our big day. The food was exquisite, prepared freshly, and the staff on the day of the event saved our wedding, planning an aperitif and cake outside on a day with very unpredictable weather. I could spend hours listing all the positives we experienced in 10 months of preparation, but it wouldn't be enough. We sincerely hope that all our dearest friends choose the old village for their weddings, so that we can return and surely have another unforgettable and perfectly organized day. Thank you to Sonya, Gloria, and Giorgia for all your support and professionalism, and thank you to all the staff who accompanied us on our wedding day. 22/09/2025: We were at a wedding, very beautiful. The location is stunning, being a 16th-century villa that is immaculately kept (compliments to the owners). I advise guests not to wear stiletto heels because you'll be either on a lawn or on a cobblestone pavement.

14/02/2026: Unfortunately, I'm not very satisfied with the experience because the welcome was very cold, the staff was apathetic, and we weren't taken into consideration the entire evening. I had a scacio e pepe, which was full of pepper, so the spiciness completely covered the flavor (I couldn't finish it). The other dishes were decent, but unfortunately, I don't think I'd return. They didn't even bother to get feedback at the end of the evening; it seemed like they couldn't wait for us to leave for the next shift. Unfortunately, this new shift trend is generally ruining the pleasure of spending a quiet evening eating and chatting, just to make more money. What a shame.

21/02/2026: I'd already tasted the deliciousness of their dishes by ordering takeout a couple of times, but I was more than satisfied by eating them in-house last night: exceptional raw seafood, delicious fried calamari, wonderful tonnarelli ricci, and bottarga; the wine was delicious and very special. The fish at Da Leo is better than many other seaside places. Bravo!

16/02/2026: Quiet and simple atmosphere. The staff were courteous and friendly, the location and the waiters were very welcoming, as was the receptionist. As for the food, it fully met our expectations: the raw fish was excellent, the pasta dishes were excellent, and the fried fish was perfect (not too pungent or oily). The dessert, needless to say, was exquisite. I absolutely recommend it if you want to eat good fish in the Castelli area, definitely go to Leo's. You won't regret it. For wine, we chose a Valdobbiadene, which paired perfectly.
