08/12/2025: The place is very small, charming, and well-kept, giving it a very homey feel: we sat on the veranda, and it was very comfortable, enclosed, without any drafts. To start, we had an appetizer for two, which included meatballs and parmigiana, as well as other items. They were all delicious, not the usual appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, but delicious and filling. The highlights were definitely the first courses: both the trofie with chickpeas, walnuts, dried tomatoes, and saffron, and the buffalo mozzarella-filled ravioli with ragù were excellent. We would have liked to try the second courses as well, but we were already very full and only had room for dessert: an apple tart and an orange and caramel tiramisu. The latter surprised me, not too sweet and fresh. To finish, they offered complimentary wine-flavored biscuits. The two young men serving were very kind. The final price was €62, absolutely more than fair for what we ate and the portions. We will definitely be back.

30/11/2025: An excellent experience from start to finish. Returning to Borgo del Cacchione is always a rewarding experience, but this time—there were seven of us—it was even more surprising. The welcome was warm and professional, accompanied by a simple but delicious plate of potatoes and pecorino cheese, perfect for the start. We began the dinner with their mixed raw fish, which was truly extraordinary: impeccable freshness, clean flavors, and balanced pairings. A dish worth the visit alone. For main courses, we chose tagliata and amatriciana: tender meat, cooked to perfection, generous and well-prepared side dishes, and a rich, flavorful, flawless pasta. All accompanied by two carefully selected glasses of wine and a water service that was always present but never intrusive. The service, as always, was impeccable: attentive, quick, kind, with that professionalism that makes you feel cared for without being disturbed. The location remains one of its strong points: immersed in the greenery of the Castelli Romani, well-kept, quiet, ideal for both groups and couples. Full rating: 5 out of 5. Excellent cuisine, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service. One of the best dining experiences in the area. We'll definitely be back.

30/11/2025: Wonderful place. We dined inside, but I'll be back to experience dining with a breathtaking view. Excellent food, friendly staff, and an absolutely excellent bill. The steak is huge and excellent quality. For work, I often eat at restaurants around Italy, and I can guarantee that this restaurant is a surefire winner for quality and fair prices. I've already passed the business card on to a couple of friends.

11/01/2026: Today, my family and I left Taverna Mari very happy. The food was simple and high-quality. For my taste, I would have preferred a little more seasoning on the cacio e pepe spaghetti and the paccheri with artichokes, but everything, absolutely, was genuine. The staff was friendly, as was the owner. I'd happily return several times, and for those who haven't tried it, it's not to be missed.

30/12/2025: I'm returning to this place after a few years, and what can I say? The WhatsApp messaging service that reminds you of your reservation (booked 2 hours in advance) and welcomes you when you arrive is useless... I would have appreciated a greeting from the owner, who practically dispenses orders to his servers and, sitting comfortably throughout the dinner, only bothered to pay the bill. The appetizer was prosciutto as thin as bread, cut into tiny slices. Then paying €27 for a tagliata (which was served whole and was a small steak weighing about 250-300g without any side dishes) is truly outrageous. Goodbye

07/12/2025: We had fish. The ingredients were good, well-prepared, but the presentation was a bit careless. For example, the hot appetizers weren't as hot as one might expect from polenta and fregola with seafood, or from mussels. The service was good, even though the appetizers came out so quickly that there was barely any room on the table to accommodate them. The first course was good. There's no menu, but the chef, who is a pleasant person, told us verbally. Excellent value.

15/11/2025: A typical trattoria in the Castelli Romani villages. Excellent food, beautifully presented in picturesque yet romantic dishes. For starters, we had artichoke salad, puntarelle with anchovies, and grilled pecorino romano. The only thing I'd point out to the garnishers is to use fewer arugula and lettuce leaves; in my opinion, they hide the dishes a bit too much, which are already very tasty. For starters, we enjoyed pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage, and for the main course, grilled lamb. For dessert, we had berries with orange ice cream and coffee tiramisu. Everything was truly high-quality and a taste of times gone by. The staff was courteous and helpful. They gave us a table near the fireplace, a lovely location that made the evening even more welcoming and with a magical atmosphere. Highly recommended, we'll be back!!! P.S. The prices are a bit high.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner at a more affordable price than others. Small and charming place with a few wooden tables, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were kind and helpful, service was a bit slow, but perhaps because they were cooking and preparing food fresh. Everything was delicious and made with "normal" (not gourmet) ingredients that at least made you realize you were eating, like pumpkin risotto and ravioli stuffed with sage-scented cavolo nero (excellent!). They also served setan on mashed potatoes, but I didn't even try it because I don't like it. The only flaw was the dessert... almond crumble (good) with mango mousse... which no one liked.

A special thanks goes to Gloria, Sonya, Eleonora and Giorgia, who with their professionalism, patience and availability made everything perfect, accompanying us with kindness, attention and the right irony in every phase of the event. The staff was extraordinary, welcoming and always smiling. A special thanks also to the maître, always present and attentive, capable of coordinating everything with elegance and discretion. The food was simply exceptional, from the aperitif to the dessert: everything prepared with quality ingredients and presented impeccably. Finally, the beauty of the place is truly breathtaking. A dream setting that made our day even more special and unforgettable. Recommended for those who want to experience a fairytale wedding, with the certainty of being in expert and passionate hands.

25/06/2025: Breathtaking place. Perhaps the most beautiful (reception) venue I have ever seen. Exceptional staff, truly. Courtesy and competence at high levels. The aperitif and the appetizer from another planet. Honestly, the lunch (especially the fillet Wellington) was minimally up to par. The only flaw. For the rest, as they say, at the Top. Well done.

17/12/2025: I was there last night for dinner with friends. We ate excellent quality fish, from appetizers to first and second courses. The waiters were impeccable. The atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

08/12/2025: Want to spend a lovely evening in good company with fresh, homemade dishes? Then I ABSOLUTELY recommend Bruno's. He's an extraordinary and very friendly person. He makes you feel at home right away. The atmosphere is homey and warm. Bruno is a great, professional chef. The dishes are generous and phenomenal, not to mention the quality. If you want to eat well, then you have to go to Bruno's.

08/12/2025: We discovered this place thanks to Cannavacciuolo's TV show. Bruno is just like that, a fantastic person and it makes you feel right at home. As for the food, what can I say? FABULOUS, it tastes like my grandmother's cooking. We'll be back as soon as possible. TELL ME.
