13/01/2025: It was me and my partner on Sunday 12 January, by pure chance, we were hungry and went in. An excellent welcome, then the chef offers us appetizers with various tastes, It was all a triumph of delicious and interesting flavours. Various courses of chickpeas with porcini mushrooms, various cheeses and many other good things. The top was the polenta with cream of broccoli, bacon and pecorino. Amazing. We then had two excellent desserts. Truly a nice discovery. We will be back to eat the first courses. Really friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

27/12/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante di pesce e siamo rimasti soddisfatti . La qualità del cibo è buona : piatti freschi e ben preparati.per iniziare ci hanno offerto una buonissima minestra di ceci e cozze. Per antipasto abbiamo ordinato un bel saute’ di cozze , baccalà fritto , alici e moscardini fritti. Come primo piatto una appetitosa ed abbondante pasta all’uovo con scampetti e pomodorella . Per concludere, fragoline di Nemi con panna. Offerti sempre dal ristorante, biscotti brutti ma buoni e meringhe. Il servizio è stato impeccabile con un ambiente curato ed accogliente. Consigliato.

25/01/2025: For me this place cooks vegan, vegetarian and also gluten-free in an optimal way as if they were dishes made by a chef, the portions are right even generous, and the refined taste is pleasant. Organic wines and delicious homemade desserts. Well done

19/01/2025: Per il mio compleanno con i familiari, volevamo mangiare pesce e ci siamo tolti grandemente lo sfizio: leggendo il menù chiedo cosa fosse fresco e cosa magari surgelato, tutto solo fresco, quello che vorresti che ti rispondessero sempre. Che bell'inizio. Locale piccolo e carino, accogliente, e il servizio delle ragazze in sala è stato semplicemente ottimo, come pure la velocità nel servirti. Iniziamo con gli antipasti di mare, assolutamente deliziosi, la tentazione era di fare un secondo giro; un tagliolino agli scampi che definirei come minimo speciale, e finalmente grigliate miste con tutto super fresco e buono, solo io provo un'orata in acqua pazza per avere anche altro da verificare, delicata e molto buona. Un vermentino sardo piacevolissimo e conto più che equilibrato, veramente un piacere dall'inizio alla fine. Ai Castelli per mangiare il pesce? ma certo che si, ormai diventano il mio punto di riferimento.

07/01/2025: Very small but warm and welcoming place with exposed embers, attentive and helpful staff. You can choose between a land and sea menu, we opted for meat. All the tastings included in the starter were good. Good quality steak and cuts cooked to perfection on the grill. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

25/12/2024: We went for lunch on Christmas Day. The menu had therefore been prepared for that occasion. So, elegant and refined environment, courteous, competent and truly passionate staff about the work they do. The menu prepared for Christmas Day was of rare refinement, from the welcome cocktail to the sweets made by them, through to the various delicacies that made up the menu. Personally, due to the work I have done in the past, I believe I have a good knowledge, at an international level, of what a gala lunch should be like having taken part in the work at the European Commission and in all the capitals of the European Union. I must say that the overall management of the lunch and the dishes prepared would not have disfigured at all, on the contrary, if compared with the numerous official lunches in which I took part. Truly many congratulations and best wishes for prosperity. Obviously going back is certainly a must given the extraordinary experience. Portuguese Tiberius

18/02/2025: Out of politeness I didn't say anything in the evening. It was a dinner with friends. A dry cacio e pepe was brought, with little cheese and lots of pepper. It must have been an oversight.

24/01/2025: I have been coming to this restaurant for about 35 years and unfortunately I have to say that this time I was disappointed. I can't say I eat badly but not as well as I remembered. Always welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, but stuffed pasta, meat and vegetables without infamy or praise while the spaghetti with black cabbage and crusco pepper is delicious. Good tiramisu. Normal flavours, all stewed cooking without the crunchiness necessary for the suckling pig and the shank. Definitely good for foreigners, for us Italians but above all Romans a little less so.

08/01/2025: Ristorante rustico, intimo, originale. Il cibo eccellente dall’antipasto al secondo. Ingredienti di ottima qualità e preparati con cura e attenzione. Il proprietario, nonché cuoco, gentilissimo! Esperienza molto positiva, torneremo sicuramente.

What can I say...it came out very well from the finger foods (appreciated by all) to the cake which was exceptional. 27/01/2025: Abbiamo sempre fatto degli ottimi aperitivi con l’ampia scelta di pizza a taglio assolutamente da provare. Abbiamo dunque deciso di mangiare un’ottima pizza la sera con le varie specialità che offre il locale. Superba la Marinara Fondi , leggera e gustosa e il supplì alla ‘nduja. Fiori di zucca eccellenti come del resto anche la pizza Andrea condita con ingredienti a crudo freschissimi come la bufala e il prosciutto crudo.Leggero l’impasto che risulta molto digeribile. Il personale è come sempre cordiale e gentile. Resta il nostro locale preferito dalla mattina a colazione, alla sera che non delude mai ( da cappellino blu Yamaha e moglie )
