30/08/2025: We're here for a family dinner. The location is beautiful, with thoughtful furnishings and a terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view. The food is excellent. Highly recommended.

30/08/2025: I've known the place for years... last Monday, I recommended it to my boyfriend for his birthday. We booked a table for 27 people, but as soon as we arrived, we realized it was far too small for that number of guests. Once the last guests arrived, we asked the waiters to add a few more tables (I should point out that, being Monday night, the place wasn't at all full, on the contrary), but we were only given the "next" table, without the option of moving it closer together. This created an unpleasant situation, as we had to split our tables between two different tables. The food, as always, is really good, and the place is impressive, but it's a shame to receive this kind of service, especially considering the prices. Furthermore, there were several issues with the orders while ordering, but on the other hand, with such a large table, I understand the inconvenience. I would have liked to celebrate my graduation party there, but given the situation, I don't recommend it for large groups.

06/09/2025: We visited Cantina Simonetti in Frascati and were truly satisfied! The atmosphere is typical of a fraschette, welcoming and authentic, with fast and friendly service. The menu offers all the classic Roman cuisine: simple, authentic, and flavorful. We ordered two cheese and cured meat platters, three first courses, a plate of bruschetta, a half-liter of house white wine, two bottles of water, four coffees, and two pans of pizza bianca: everything was truly excellent, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. During this period, service is offered outdoors, with tables in the square, well-organized and private, enhanced by the excellent lighting typical of these places, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and characteristic. The house white wine is perfect to accompany the dishes, light but tasty. The value for money is also excellent: we spent a total of €104 for four people and left more than satisfied. If you're looking for a place in Frascati where you can savor the authentic flavors of Roman tradition in a convivial and charming atmosphere, Cantina Simonetti is highly recommended.

08/08/2025: It's a fine restaurant. Some dishes were delicious, like the savory cheesecake. I wasn't so impressed with others, like the pasta with anchovies and lemon. There are a few vegetarian options on the menu. There are more inviting terraces in Frascati.

15/06/2025: We were at this place just last night, June 14, 2025. What to say: the location is fantastic, because a bit like all the other places in Frascati it offers a crazy panoramic view of all of Rome. Very very beautiful. The service was very efficient, and cheered by the sympathy of Federico... Excellent food, I recommend their appetizer which is really varied and very filling. Finally we had the tonnarello alla carbonara which was truly exquisite. I have eaten in many other places in Rome, rarely have I found this quality and quantity. See you next time guys, good work!

27/07/2025: I went with my family for lunch and we had a great time, to say the least. The place was very quiet and the food was fantastic. My daughter is celiac, and the staff was very careful about cross-contamination, even having a completely gluten-free menu. The food and price exceeded our expectations. Congratulations, guys!

09/07/2025: Che dire ,partiamo dall'unica nota dolente, il parcheggio, non c'è,ma potete tranquillamente parcheggiare al centro di Frascati e fare una passeggiata a piedi, altrimenti,subito dopo trovate una stradina sulla destra, in salita ,e se siete fortunati,un buco per la macchina lo trovate..... Il ristorante è a conduzione famigliare, lo chef si chiama Gabriele, e all'interno troverete anche il papà, la mamma e dei dipendenti, se c'è poca gente chiedetegli se è possibile visitare ciò che c'è sotto........... resterete a bocca aperta. Ma torniamo a parlare del cibo, ora ci interessa quello hahaha... Non è la prima volta che ci ceno, di conseguenza ho mangiato un po' di tutto, dalla pinsa, mai mangiata così buona, a diversi primi piatti fatto con pasta fresca e diversi secondi, senza tralasciare i loro vassoi di affettati e salumi, diciamo che negli anni non mi sono fatto mancare nulla...... approposito,i dolci, i dolci sono superlativi

31/07/2025: The service was not welcoming, the dishes did not meet expectations, the cuisine was superficial and truly basic.

27/08/2025: Forget it. They changed the name, now it says Temple of Bacchus Osteria Fraschetta. Everything arrives in disarray, terrible food and some portions didn't arrive. Some food comes from other restaurants. Forget it.

16/08/2025: Once we discovered it, we dined at Grottino three nights in a row. All the waiters were friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes and offering recommendations. The view was stunning.

20/07/2025: Found it by chance while walking through Frascati. We stopped for an aperitif. Excellent, well-made drink. The staff were friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The location was captivating, under the tower. Discovered it by chance, but I'll be back whenever possible. Perfect.

18/05/2025: Very friendly and cheerful staff, delicious hamburger...Unfortunately not near my house but if I return to the area with a good memory I will go back.

24/08/2025: Takeout pizza, as pictured. We're seriously hoping to make it through the night. Frozen pizza is 100 times better, with rubbery mozzarella and cardboard ham, and a concrete dough. Regular-sized suppli for €2.75. Unbelievable. At least the delivery was very fast.

21/08/2025: Great place near Marino! We stopped by by chance, but it was a real surprise: thin, crispy pizza and truly delicious sandwiches! I personally tried the Crispy 2.0, with bacon, cheddar, and purple cabbage coleslaw, accompanied by fries with lots of ketchup... really good! And to finish, Nutella cheesecake with savory crumble :) PS. We've downloaded their app so we can order delivery directly... see you soon!

24/08/2025: The first courses are good, the second courses are commendable, the porchetta is delicious, plus a nice liter of white wine and everything becomes magical. The staff is kind and attentive, Just like family. The interior is typical and characteristic. See you next time.

28/07/2025: We had a hot and cold appetizer, spaghetti allo scoglio (spaghetti with seafood) and fried fish. Everything was exceptional. We also tried the spaghetti with clams and bottarga, spectacular and absolutely worth trying.

23/07/2025: To be reviewed..... I booked a table three weeks in advance, but they didn't know about it. They promptly set one in the dark because there was no more room. The appetizer was a bit small, but good (we ordered five appetizers, but they brought us three plates of mussel sauté; my colleagues and I are still wondering why). Finally, the first course: spaghetti with mussels, clams, and pistachios, basically pasta with mussel water and a few clams, plus chopped pistachios. The linguine with scampi (my colleague's) looked like tomato pasta with two scampi. Disappointing.

13/07/2025: A real shame. My birthday was ruined by rushed service. They took our plates away before we'd even put down our forks. The worst part was when she stood next to the table and watched my mother eat the pizza, saying, "I'm waiting for the lady to finish." Seriously, NO. No anxiety!! The pizza was awful, too, small, as was the portion of meat. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't behave like that. Never again. There are better places in Frascati.

07/08/2025: Characteristic and welcoming location, beautiful outdoor terrace. Excellent distinct and professional service, excellent cuisine and particular dishes but the most important ingredient is the fresh fish.

06/08/2025: I go there at least once a year. The view is truly stunning and the food is delicious. The fish is fresh and the wine selection is excellent. The prices are average for seafood restaurants. My recommendation is the sandwiches, especially the octopus one, which is excellent and truly different.
