04/08/2025: Tavolata da 8 persone , hanno sbagliato praticamente tutto, dalle bevande agli antipasti e anche i primi, hanno preso le ordinazioni e al momento di portarci da mangiare ci hanno avvisati che quello che avevamo scelto era terminato, attesa lunghissima, quando finalmente ci portano i primi abbiamo dovuti mandarli in dietro perché salatissimi, Altra infinita attesa, ci riportano i primi e continuano ad essere salati anche se meno della prima volta, in più nella pasta tantissime bucce di pistacchio tritato col rischio di romperci qualche dente , l'abbiamo fatto presente alla cameriera che si è giustificata dicendo che la salsa non la preparano loro ma l acquistano già pronta ,personale praticamente inesistente, solo un cameriere ha tentato di rimediare, per finire ci hanno offerto una pizza margherita al centro tavola ma ormai la fame ci era passata , abbiamo pagato il conto e ce ne siamo andati , mai più andrò in questo ristorante

25/07/2025: Although it was a Saturday night, there were many empty tables outside, without a reservation (probably because they wanted to start cleaning), so they showed us inside, no problem. The table was covered with dirty dishes and the service was slow, even though many people had started to leave the restaurant. It was obvious that there was no organization. However, I personally liked the food very much. Once equal to nothing, I would come back again! Updated: I don't do it but after the response i need to reply you... I understand that you may not be the one in charge or have no experience in the catering sector, which is evident from your response. The review is not only about the food, it also assumes other elements - some of which are provided by Google (food, service, etc.), but the entire experience we had at your place. It doesn't matter the exact time of our arrival or whether we sat inside or outside - the problem starts from the moment we sat down at a table with visibly dirty plates and culteries. The table next to us, an hour after the group had left, remained exactly in the same condition as they left it. The order was significantly delayed in being taken and served, while all the waiters were passing by our table in turns, sweating. The waiting time for payment was around a quarter, and in general there was a lack of organization and clear allocation of tables to employees. I wanted to be polite and not mention a lot, that's why i said i will visit your resto again, but... If after all this you believe you deserve 5 stars, then honestly there is a perception issue of what a quality dining experience means.

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

21/08/2025: This restaurant is one of Frascati's best. The meat is truly special (there's great professionalism behind it, and the ingredients are top-notch). The pasta, especially the one pictured (garlic, oil, bacon, and tartare), also deserves an honorable mention. The pizza is also excellent. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

29/06/2025: As a convinced lover of Neapolitan pizza, I must admit that I was a little skeptical... but the Pitty Village tongs made me change my mind with gusto! Light, digestible and above all prepared with top quality ingredients, they melt in your mouth and leave that feeling of "just one more bite and then that's it"... which obviously you never respect, because they are too good to stop! But it's not just a question of food: there is a Lady (yes, with a capital "M") who welcomes you and is the real added value of the place. Friendly, cheerful, attentive... she makes you feel more like a guest than a customer. A hostess like few others, capable of making every visit a little pleasure. In short, what can I say: I will definitely go back and this time maybe I will bring some friends too, so they will understand why I talk so much about the Pitty Village tongs! 😋🍕👏

01/09/2025: A nightmare with hygiene standards comparable to those of the National Health Service (NAS). I believe the reviews are clearly untrue. Between the photos and reality, there are two years of poor hygiene in the premises and staff.

31/08/2025: In the quiet shadow of Frascati's buildings on a Sunday, I enjoyed sampling some truly delicious, fresh cheeses and cured meats with some friends. The service was simple, fast, and helpful. Highly recommended, despite the stunning view, the casareccio is truly authentic and not touristy. Definitely worth a try.

21/07/2025: Lunch for a baptism was all good but the portions were barely sufficient...the service was barely adequate and not attentive to the customer for a farmhouse, let's say passable.

24/05/2025: I booked for my daughter's communion a small room for 25/30 people a lunch with bells and whistles. The children had fun outside, genuine and home-made food, beautiful place and I must admit reasonable cost for a family.

16/08/2025: We had two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, and two aperitifs for €25 each, one of which was paid in advance by bank transfer, as requested. Let's start with the discomfort: in the vineyard, I don't expect to sit in an armchair, nor with two seat cushions that are like wafers. Those nice, wide seat cushions exist, or at least the ones you have would be a little more padded. Otherwise, put a mat, even if it's not too thick, that insulates you from the ground. That said, let's get to the platter, which was simply awful. I hate to say it, but that's how it is. I had high expectations, but they were completely unfulfilled. For €25 each, you foisted on us a platter with supermarket-quality cold cuts. And if it wasn't from the supermarket, believe me, change suppliers. After all, I'm just another person who points it out. Then we talk about some of the options: two slices of cheese, two spoonfuls of tasteless ricotta instead of mozzarella, and then the turkey breast. Along with the prosciutto crudo and the cheap salami, the turkey breast. I didn't know I was on a diet. I don't know... mortadella, pork loin... No, the breast. Bah! Not to mention that tasteless little bowl of farro with peas. Two forkfuls each. A shriveled porchetta of dubious quality that had clearly caught air, which I'll draw a veil over. I'm attaching a photo, because it's not a €50 platter. We finished the platter, and after waiting 35 minutes, a waiter came to ask if we wanted another glass. So we decided to leave, but as we were leaving, the staff informed us that they still had fried food to serve. We didn't know, so we sat down again. It was a small parcel for one with three fritters inside, and no one even asked me if I wanted more wine. So I decided it was fine. The staff was kind but far too young and lacking in experience. I've also worked in contact with the public, and customers deserve attention. Tonight I came to the vineyard to drink water; I drank a whole bottle. We asked for advice on the wine—we always ask those who know more than us—but they didn't let us taste the wine once it was poured. Even if the bottle were already open, it should have been the same. Or does the fact that you're in the vineyard mean you might not like it or it might taste corked, as they say in slang?! I think it's just the basics. They even let me taste Annamaria Clementi in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and that says it all. I think we should accept criticism every now and then, without justifying the unjustifiable by saying "you drink water from a glass" and "you eat from porcelain plates" or "the kitchen is far away" as I see in your other replies to other reviews. Excuse me, but two aperitifs, two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, €70.00, did you want me to eat from a plastic bag?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's fine to defend the staff in public and then possibly admonish them in private, but then, where you make a mistake, you make a mistake. The description on the website is far too exaggerated and inconsistent with reality. €25.00 in advance and €44.00 paid tonight, based on the offer and the experience, if we had known, we would have gone out to dinner. The truth is that it's a seasonal service and we want to make as much money as possible. I haven't been a restaurateur, but I have been a salesperson and I completely understand, but this just isn't fair. If the recent reviews are mostly negative and everyone's pointing out the same things, instead of standing here justifying the unjustifiable, I'd focus on correcting the situation. And if you don't want to correct the situation, at least correct the prices. I was disappointed that you didn't have change at the register this evening and that you gave us an extra €1 because you couldn't change the money. Thank you, but it goes without saying that whoever is in charge of the register is responsible for it, so I have no complaints about the customer. We won't be coming back, but I imagine you'll invite me to do so yourself, just like you did with other customers who, like me, have criticized you.

10/08/2025: I booked to surprise my wife for her birthday, but the real surprise was the location, the kindness and elegance of the owner and her staff, as well as the quality and quantity of the food. We opted for the aperitif dinner, and I must say the portions are truly varied and generous, and the attention to detail from all the staff makes this wonderful place even more magical. My vegetarian menu was nothing short of amazing and truly delicious (even my non-vegetarian wife confirmed the deliciousness and quality of the classic menu). The photos on the website and in the reviews don't do justice to its beauty; in person, it's even more beautiful, and we especially appreciated the space between each pallet. I loved eating sitting on the blanket and cushions, but it might be uncomfortable for some. One last piece of advice: don't trust the negative reviews; we've traveled extensively in Italy and abroad, and we agree with my wife that it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.

19/07/2025: Ottimi cibi, cucinati con cura. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Ottima carta dei vini e ottima scelta di birre. Ha posti esterni ottimo per le serate estive e sala interna. Consigliatissimo.

18/06/2025: Abbiamo semplicemente espresso su the fork la nostra esperienza su questo ristorante. Evidentemente essere sintetici non basta vista la risposta del proprietario che merita adeguata replica. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo nulla a che dire, ma soffermiamoci su ciò che riteniamo migliorabile. Prenotato alle 20.30 e presentateci alle 20.40 circa con il locale all'interno semi vuoto e comunque con una prenotazione in corso di 1 ora di validità, un cameriere prima di indicarci il tavolo ci chiede da subito se volevamo dell'acqua. Ci avevano messo in un tavolo posto al buio tale da richiedere una migliore visione. Il cameriere ha così provveduto ad avvitare una lampadina posizionata su un lampadario al centro della sala, per quel che riguarda le pietanze, la carne era praticamente tiepida e il contorno di patate fredde. Dopo circa un 'ora che abbiamo atteso amici che finissero l'antipasto ci è stato detto che le nostre pietanze erano in cottura e udite sono arrivate dopo circa altri 45/50 minuti. Lo stesso cameriere informato del nostro disappunto notiziava il cuoco probabilmente proprietario il quale rammaricato chiedeva scuso per l'attesa e giustificava il fatto che la carne era fredda a causa della cottura al sangue. Ma le patate al sangue anche loro?? Tuttavia pur comprendendo tutto cio' vorrei dire è troppo facile fare leoni da tastiera quando invece mi preoccuperei di ovviare in modo garbato senza fare commenti del tutto gratuiti considerando che il tutto è avvenuto alla presenza di testimoni. Spero nell'utilità di questa recensione sia per lo staff del ristorante che per i clienti futuri.
