26/01/2026: The place needs renovation, small and left to chance. An awning over the entrance should be removed. Excellent service, kind and helpful. Food? The chef needs a change. Entree with sandwiches, mayonnaise, and shrimp (nothing to write home about). The hot appetizer was cold and inedible. Both in quality and execution. A shame.

12/10/2025: Never again! Yesterday, a friend of mine and I ate an appetizer, two regular pizzas, a glass of wine, and a water, for a total of €51, so €25 each. I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the tables that were still in the restaurant, but I saw that the bill indicated a special pizza menu (I instead ordered a pizza that wasn't one of the special ones (called grottino; the special ones were, for example, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, etc.) and an extra appetizer. The pizza menu said the appetizer was included, but instead they charged us for it separately. Terrible treatment; that's why I gave it one star; we were very disappointed.

04/02/2026: This place was recommended to us by an Airbnb host, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I ordered chicken cacciatore, which had more bone than meat, and my daughter ordered fried meatballs. They were very salty, and the fries were greasy. Perhaps the only good thing was the sausages with polenta.

12/03/2026: We went to the restaurant on Wednesday, March 11, for an all-you-can-eat dinner, much touted on social media. The result was a dinner with meager portions (e.g., literally a ravioli served in a dessert dish) and portions that never arrived (which were included in the menu). After our umpteenth request, which was always ignored by the staff, we gave up and left. This didn't even begin to feel like an all-you-can-eat experience, neither the service nor the organization. Of the various fresh pasta dishes, only the fettuccine was good in my opinion; the other shapes were too thick. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, especially if you're expecting the dishes you've seen in various Instagram videos.

12/03/2026: Dinner with friends, all ready to eat. Judging by the reels the restaurant recently posted (as a food influencer), the promise seemed good: appetizers galore, fresh pasta, and even grilled meat, and endless options. MISLEADING ADVERTISING. It's not an all-you-can-eat plan, but a set menu with drinks and desserts excluded (so a mix, but with only the worst of both!). The quantities (and even the size of the dishes) seen in the videos weren't consistent with what we received. The dishes looked like they were the size of coffee coasters. What exactly arrived was: (one by one from the entire list) - small triangle with a small piece of lard (I think) and balsamic vinegar. - slice of mortadella. - a small piece of parmesan and a tiny piece of brie. - A basket of fried food with a mozzarella stick, a mini supplì, a mini truffled mozzarella, and a cremino. - A mini fried crepe that arrived COLD. - A coffee saucer of buttered pasta (I think) (and since nothing had arrived for 20 minutes, we went to smoke a cigarette, so the pasta was obviously stuck to the table, rightfully so). - Another mini plate of gnocchi. - A ravioli. - 2 mini meatball-shaped sausages. - 2 thin, small slices of veal. - Then we asked for pizzas, but with difficulty as we were completely ignored by the staff, and for more fried food because we were still hungry... and then... there wasn't a grill restaurant because two sausage balls don't make a grill restaurant! So no endless appetizers filled with cured meats and cheeses and a plethora of other things that the video advertises. A forkful of the first course. Nonexistent second courses. The pizza was barely edible and remained difficult to digest. And we arrived at the pizza hungry. I'm sorry to say this, and I never write negative reviews, but yesterday we were incredulous. And with one wine, two Cokes, and four desserts, we came to €36 each, dissatisfied. I'm sorry I can't recommend this place, and I'm also sorry to say that the social media campaign is misleading advertising. All this from 9:00 PM to almost midnight, so the service was very slow and incomplete. ***** I'll add, given the restaurant's response, that we and the table next to us kept asking for more courses. So, at most, there was no communication between you, and I don't intend to make a scene to get attention. I repeat, one table received tons of appetizers and dishes that were completely different in size and quantity from ours (obviously). I also repeat, most of the dishes you show in the videos (especially the grilled meats) and the cold dishes didn't arrive. I don't understand all this defensiveness; maybe it was just a bad day, but the dinner went BADLY.

31/10/2025: Maricla's staff are truly friendly and helpful. The dishes are tasty and plentiful, with plenty of choices. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say at least a 9. Well done!

11/01/2026: Two hours to get a pizza, while I watched the takeout orders pass by in front of me. Result: they kept us drinking for two hours, and I repeat: "TWO HOURS" without receiving a pizza. It's a shame because in the end the food was actually quite good. But you have to do something about this long wait problem... Or if you really can't, at least have the good sense to communicate it. 25/01/2026: Today we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We thank Lorella, Maurizio, and their staff for their helpfulness and kindness. Everything was well organized, the food was excellent, and the room was welcoming. We highly recommend it.

02/03/2026: DANGEROUS, CALL THE NAS. As soon as you enter, you immediately notice the musty smell, so much so that the entire walls of the place are covered in mold. Hygiene is extremely dangerous. Hygiene is below zero. There's only one person, I presume the owner, serving and doing everything. The kitchen is completely dirty, with encrusted pans. The owner is obviously filthy in terms of personal hygiene. I don't understand how you guys had the nerve to write positive reviews. I've never experienced anything like this before.

08/03/2026: We had lunch at this Fraschetta with some friends. We were thrilled with the location, with its truly beautiful internal caves. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the food was top-notch. The ricotta cheese is truly wonderful! Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Lots of games, and a fairly extensive menu. Despite the small space and few windows, the atmosphere is refined, calm, and pleasant. The only advice is to bring a few Piacenza or French cards.

29/05/2025: A place where you can feel at home, with delicious sandwiches and cold beer. But it's the staff that makes the difference, with a kindness and hospitality that will make you feel at home from the first time. Absolutely recommended for an evening with friends!

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

02/11/2025: The wine, ricotta, mozzarella, bread, and porchetta are top-notch, but otherwise, let's ignore them. There's no menu with prices, either posted or listed (except for the €12 appetizer). A reheated first course served on a paper plate for €12 seems a bit excessive. It's an osteria in terms of food, service, and disposable items, but it's definitely not an osteria in terms of price.

31/08/2025: In the quiet shadow of Frascati's buildings on a Sunday, I enjoyed sampling some truly delicious, fresh cheeses and cured meats with some friends. The service was simple, fast, and helpful. Highly recommended, despite the stunning view, the casareccio is truly authentic and not touristy. Definitely worth a try.

10/09/2025: Typical Fraschetta in the center of Frascati, very charming, and the little square is full of people. You can only eat platters and starters. First courses are served at the restaurant next door, and I love the collaboration between colleagues. We ate okay, but some of the cured meats, like Mortadella, weren't top-notch. Overall, we had a good time, and the service was fast.

06/09/2025: The owners are always smiling and welcoming. They always have a solution to find you a table, whether there are two of you or ten of you. The small square is a lovely setting where you can enjoy the platter and other specialties. The other night, for example, in addition to the platter, we had an eggplant parmigiana. Very good. Definitely worth a try.
