17/05/2026: Captivated by the aesthetic details of the exterior, the interior is also very beautiful and welcoming, with stone walls, an antique oil mill, and an ancient cistern underneath. Even though there was only one person handling orders and service, we relaxed and the wait was worth it. Both the tiella and the first course were delicious, plus a nice selection of wines. One detail, which I've attached a photo of, is that be careful of the steps inside; one is a bit longer, and if you're distracted by the beauty of the place inside, you could easily trip. Good value for money.

07/05/2026: Couple's dinner. The atmosphere is well-ventilated, intimate, and reflects the town's history. Many of the dishes are labeled with allergen information, and caters to those who require gluten-free or lactose-free options. The traditional products and dishes are excellent, especially the olive oil from local producers. Special praise goes to the service.

05/08/2026: We chose this restaurant, where we've been coming for years and have always enjoyed it, to celebrate a special occasion. When we booked, we had also asked for a table near the air conditioning, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. It was scorching hot! When we arrived, the table wasn't ready yet, and the service was truly disappointing. The waiter proved to be unprepared: the requested ice bucket for the wine never arrived, and we drank it warm. The numerous empty water bottles remained on the table throughout the dinner, and when it was time for the cake, I had to clear the space myself. Even the prosecco was opened and left in a corner on the table... without being served; the glasses arrived much later, when it was already warm. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about; it remains as good as ever. It's a shame, however, that the portions, once one of the restaurant's strong points, seemed decidedly small. We left feeling a bit disappointed, especially since it was an important evening for the birthday boy...

29/07/2026: We had "Le Fantasie del Mare" as an appetizer, perfect for two because it's plentiful, and that alone was filling. Then we had a first course, a generous and very tasty one, and a second course... 3 bottles of water and a dessert. We split everything between two people because otherwise we wouldn't have finished anything. Good value for money. The place is a bit rustic, but it's definitely worth it... The staff is kind and courteous.

03/04/2026: I had a really good time. I went alone for some peace and quiet, and they did. I found plenty of tables with couples, but also tables with friends. The food was excellent, and the sandwiches were delicious. I can't complain at all.

31/05/2026: We stopped by chance on our way to visit the "Split Mountain." We didn't have high expectations, as it wasn't a choice. We were not impressed... VERY FINE! Excellent, carefully prepared food with extraordinary details. Good wine recommended by the lady who served us. To finish, a delicious dessert! The price was reasonable for the quality of the products. The "votapiatto" (a plate of food) is highly recommended, although we didn't want it initially, but the lady insisted we try it. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area!

12/04/2026: We were guests for a day at the beach. The buffets were amazing and authentic. The staff was courteous and attentive.

01/05/2026: I came here to eat with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had octopus salad and paella Gaetana. The mussels were also very good as an appetizer. The waitress is very attentive and stays in the dining room with the guests; service is very fast. I recommend making a reservation. At 1:00 PM, the place was almost empty, and it was a holiday; it gradually filled up.

03/08/2026: A family-friendly, informal place. We tried the typical Gaeta dish, calamarelle alla vota, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The first courses were also good, but we didn't try the desserts. The house wine was mediocre (though it was from a Roman winery, bottled with the restaurant's label). Prices were reasonable. Reservations are required (at least on summer weekends).

23/07/2026: Negative experience. Initially, I wasn't given the total bill, and after paying in cash, I wasn't given a receipt, making it impossible to properly verify the change. After pointing this out, I was given a receipt, which showed a more expensive product than the one I actually purchased. After reporting this, the owner corrected the amount and refunded me the difference. However, upon subsequent calculations, I found a difference of 10 cents less than the amount due on the change. The amount is negligible, and for this reason, I haven't raised any further complaints. However, considering the overall situation, I can't say I had a positive experience and I wouldn't recommend the place.

12/07/2026: The staff is slow and inattentive to customers. You can't seat people and then, after 10 minutes, tell them the kitchen is closed and make them leave without eating.

12/07/2026: If I could give less than one star, I would have gladly done so. The guys in the dining room do everything except watch the tables and be attentive. Despite having asked for my order three times, it arrived wrong. Embarrassing service. A table of three people in a practically empty restaurant was left without food. They didn't even know why, in their opinion, the dish needed more time to prepare than the others, so they decided to leave me without dinner. I had ordered a tartare, the other two people ordered two cooked dishes, and I left without eating. At the end, when I pointed this out, the owner intervened in a very awkward manner and, instead of resolving the situation, claimed that the tartare was a dish that took longer to prepare than meatballs and a hamburger. It took about 55 minutes to wait for all of this. It's a shame because restaurants, or rather, those who know how to do this job, should have opportunities, not people who absolutely don't even know what this job is. Terrible. Flies all over me the whole dinner. Never again.
