12/08/2025: A traditional restaurant where you can also dine outside to enjoy Gaeta's traditional dishes. The real delicacy is the calamari soup. It's a bit pricey, but since it's a generous portion, it's enough for two.

16/07/2025: They messed up half the order, didn’t apologize, and said they’d bring the missing item. Two minutes later, they came back saying it’s no longer available. While we were already eating the only correct part of the order, the waiter finally showed up 15 minutes late just to bring us napkins. Also, we had to remind him 2 times to bring us the check. Awful experience

16/07/2025: The place is historic, but since it changed ownership, it's a whole different story. I go there often because it's truly a great place. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and they always welcome you with a smile. The menu is an interesting mix: on one side, there are classic American-style sandwiches, generous and tasty, and on the other, carefully crafted dishes, even restaurant-style, with a nod to traditional dishes that surprise with their presentation and flavor. You can tell they put the right amount of attention into everything they do. Another strong point for me are the beers and cocktails, always well-made, balanced, and never boring. It's one of those places I love to return to, even just for a chat over a good drink.

19/07/2025: Titolari antipatici come il 75% dei titolari gaetani, ma perché non cambiate lavoro tutti e lasciate spazio a chi vuole farlo sto mestiere?!?? Sembra sempre che ti facciano un grosso piacere ma poi spesso si mangia anche male e si spende troppo. Panini di qualità assurda (in negativo) Le Tielle non sono arte vostra, evitate di millantarne la casa nel vostro nome. Si salvano le 4 birre in bottiglia che avete e le patatine fritte perché congelate, poi per il resto assolutamente dà evitare. Per finire, un tavolo di plastica e tre tovaglioli di carta a soli 2 euro a persona per il servizio.

14/07/2025: Ci siamo andati un paio di volte e quindi tornati perchè ci è piaciuta, in particolare quella classica col polpo. Ottima idea per un pranzo veloce a prezzo contenuto, pochi o posti a sedere ma entrambe le volte abbiamo combinato, personale gentile e disponibile

21/07/2025: Buona trattoria. Serata tra amici posto rustico ma pasta con le alici molto buone… anche le cozze sono Molto buone . Consiglio anche il gelato… non vi aspettate una location da ristorante raffinato ma vi posso dire che non è niente male … bene

22/07/2025: Il locale si presenta bene e l’atmosfera è gradevole, complice un personale davvero cordiale ed accogliente. Sin dall’ingresso ci si sente benvoluti, con un servizio attento e sorridente che fa piacere trovare. Purtroppo, però, l’esperienza culinaria non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. I piatti serviti sono risultati deludenti: la qualità del pesce non sembrava fresca, sapori spenti e consistenze poco convincenti. Per questo motivo, faccio fatica a consigliarlo con convinzione.

04/07/2025: El restaurante Nari es una joya escondida situada a lo largo de Via Duomo. La cocina italiana aquí es excepcional. Particularmente memorable fue la pasta alle vongole: una pasta perfectamente al dente rica con almejas, gambas y mejillones.

21/06/2025: On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11, my family and I were here to order a frappé and a black mulberry granita. Nothing to say about the frappé being good and fresh, while the same cannot be said about the granita, which everyone said was inedible because it had an unpleasant flavor, a sour and alcoholic aftertaste, the same flavor that overripe fruit has that begins to ferment. Considering that the mulberry is a delicate fruit, it is plausible that with the sugar it begins to ferment soon if it is not fresh that day. I point out the fact to the saleswoman, she responds that it could be because it has been there for two days, then she tastes the granita and takes it back, saying that for her it is perfect and that since she always eats it because it is her favorite, she knows what she is talking about, she knows it well, she has trees at home, etc. etc. In short, she found a thousand justifications by questioning our experience, making us look like liars with an arrogant attitude and without leaving any room for dialogue (she was the only one speaking and over my voice without listening). She replied that she could only give me half a granita as a replacement and that is already a lot since, according to her, the owner would never have done it. I replied that this is not professionalism, that a business will not go to waste for a granita and that it would be better to retain the customer instead of letting him go away with discontent. Her response was rude, she insulted me by calling me a liar and then invited me with a wave of her hand, to go and get my ice cream somewhere else. I wonder if the company is aware of all this. We usually got ice cream in Formia but since this is your customer care policy, we will go somewhere else, as suggested by your employee.

11/06/2025: Excellent, the ice cream is truly special, of great quality, you can sense the refinement, the study behind it. I am greedy for ice cream, I like to experiment and I must say that this place deserves all my appreciation. It's a shame to have discovered it the day before leaving but being regulars in Gaeta, we will certainly return! A special thanks to Valeria, the girl who made the experience even more interesting with her professionalism in offering us various flavors, you can see that she puts love and passion into it, all enriched by her very sweet, very sweet smile. Thanks Valeria and thanks to Gretel for what you do. We will return!!

06/07/2025: Mi dispiace malgrado l educazione ricevuta dai dipendenti,ma il ritardo di un primo un ore e mezza non si può sentire, né tantomeno tenere un cliente inchiodato dalle ore 21,30 alle 23,15 senza ricevere nulla.Io credo che strafare mettere tavoli ovunque pure dí riempire e portare solo una bottiglia di vino al tavolo per poi prendere una comanda dopo mezz’ora e servire dopo un altra ora significa assicurarsi già pagato il vino poi se il cliente si lamenta e vuole andare via ti deve almeno pagare la bottigli caricate il triplo .Disorganizzati un caos se avessi voluto cenare con seconda portata e dolce andavo via alle 2.Capisco che vuoi guadagnare perché c’è turismo ma il disservizio non ti premia.

12/08/2025: We made a reservation for four people. When we arrived, we chose three Crew Burgers and a Yellow Burger. The sandwich cost €9, a price in line with the competition. However, the burger was really thin, and the buns were overstuffed with side dishes, such as onions. You could barely taste the meat. It needs to be revisited. Cute place, friendly staff, well-maintained restrooms.

10/08/2025: I appreciate the consistency. We arrived without a reservation and they decided whether to seat us or not, due to staff shortages. They explained clearly that the first courses might be late. We were aware of this, so we ordered prosciutto and melon (very good) while waiting for the first courses. Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce for both arrived shortly afterward without too much of a wait. I even mopped up the plates with bread! A simple order to help the kitchen, but we were extremely satisfied! Homemade cuisine and fair prices for the location and time of year. The wait staff was friendly and cheerful. I can't comment on the more elaborate dishes. I repeat, I appreciate the consistency and frankness during difficult times because, by ordering a simpler course, we ate better than at many other restaurants!

18/07/2025: This morning we attempted to enter the beach resort. We parked in the designated parking lot and went directly to the cashier to pay the fee, which was €20 for parking, an umbrella, and two loungers. We didn't even have a chance to speak to the lady, who claimed to be the owner, who immediately stated that since we had a beach umbrella with us, we couldn't access the beach. We tried to explain that we were planning to rent an umbrella and loungers at the beach resort and that we had brought the extra umbrella with us for people arriving later who didn't want to rent equipment on site (it's a public beach, so umbrella use is permitted). The lady rudely shooed us away, saying that on her property, they do as she says. It wasn't a big deal for us, because we went to the next beach resort, where we were able to rent what we needed without any problems, but we were surprised by the owner's unwarranted rudeness.
