07/07/2025: ¡Escandaloso! 8€ por un plato de “verduras de temporada” compuesto por unas rodajas de berenjena a la plancha, una lechuga iceberg y tres tomates cherry cortados por la mitad… En cuanto al plato principal, parecía una comida de cafetería escolar de cuando era niño. Las tielles estaban extremadamente grasosas. Evite este lugar: puede parecer agradable, pero no se detenga allí. Es literalmente comida de cafetería; nos toman por tontos. Al final el nombre del restaurante es apropiado, pero no así los precios. ¡Es muy caro tanto por la cantidad como por la calidad!

22/06/2025: Location all' interno di una chiesa sconsacrata,che da sola vale la cena! Atmosfera suggestiva e rilassante. Menù con pochi piatti, ma di alta qualità. Personale disponibile e professionale. La proprietaria, gentilissima, ci ha portato a visitare il locale anche all' interno, usato soprattutto di inverno o in caso di maltempo. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo

10/06/2025: Passing by, we stopped for a snack. A surprise, very kind owners, excellent tiella. We had one with octopus and one with escarole, modest prices but quality products.

02/07/2025: The food is good, the restaurant is made welcoming thanks to the two girls who serve, on the other hand the owner was gloomy, definitely tired. The only flaw for the first course was the 30 minute wait. We didn't take the second course otherwise we would have been late for an appointment. 02/07/2025: Romantic place, clean, very attentive and accurate service and "mise en place". Well-cooked dishes, right portions and price that respects the beautiful location and the quality of the whole! Without a doubt a restaurant to highly recommend for those looking for a beautiful atmosphere among the alleys of old Gaeta and do not want to give up the quality of the food! I highly recommend booking!

22/06/2025: I went there with my family, I asked a friend I met on the beach if he knew a little place to spend the right amount.... believe me I ate and spent very little, It is very rustic and good, I ranged from fish to grilled meat. Don't expect haute cuisine.... traditional cuisine and with good prices. Vito the owner's son is a kind and affable guy... I hope it stays that way.... I will definitely go back

03/05/2025: Good food, minimal quantity considering the price, out of 3 people, one received their dish late and ate alone. Even after our remark, we were told that it was their “concept” and no gesture from the waiter who then even ignored us! Big disappointment

21/06/2025: On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11, my family and I were here to order a frappé and a black mulberry granita. Nothing to say about the frappé being good and fresh, while the same cannot be said about the granita, which everyone said was inedible because it had an unpleasant flavor, a sour and alcoholic aftertaste, the same flavor that overripe fruit has that begins to ferment. Considering that the mulberry is a delicate fruit, it is plausible that with the sugar it begins to ferment soon if it is not fresh that day. I point out the fact to the saleswoman, she responds that it could be because it has been there for two days, then she tastes the granita and takes it back, saying that for her it is perfect and that since she always eats it because it is her favorite, she knows what she is talking about, she knows it well, she has trees at home, etc. etc. In short, she found a thousand justifications by questioning our experience, making us look like liars with an arrogant attitude and without leaving any room for dialogue (she was the only one speaking and over my voice without listening). She replied that she could only give me half a granita as a replacement and that is already a lot since, according to her, the owner would never have done it. I replied that this is not professionalism, that a business will not go to waste for a granita and that it would be better to retain the customer instead of letting him go away with discontent. Her response was rude, she insulted me by calling me a liar and then invited me with a wave of her hand, to go and get my ice cream somewhere else. I wonder if the company is aware of all this. We usually got ice cream in Formia but since this is your customer care policy, we will go somewhere else, as suggested by your employee.

11/06/2025: Excellent, the ice cream is truly special, of great quality, you can sense the refinement, the study behind it. I am greedy for ice cream, I like to experiment and I must say that this place deserves all my appreciation. It's a shame to have discovered it the day before leaving but being regulars in Gaeta, we will certainly return! A special thanks to Valeria, the girl who made the experience even more interesting with her professionalism in offering us various flavors, you can see that she puts love and passion into it, all enriched by her very sweet, very sweet smile. Thanks Valeria and thanks to Gretel for what you do. We will return!!

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati al ristorante x caso… abbiamo pranzato e poi visto l ottimo pasto cenato ..accoglienza ottima come fossimo di famiglia sia noi che la nostra piccola pelosetta ..la signora Anna Rita e suo marito Antonio estremamente gentili cosa rara di questi tempi.. ci hanno invitato a visitare il loro ex convento adibito all accoglienza il giorno dopo luogo storico e suggestivo che stanno cercando di preservare cn tutte le loro forze… persone rare consiglio vivamente

18/05/2025: Abbiamo incontrato il ristorante quasi per caso ed è stata una piacevolissima esperienza. I punti forti sono sicuramente la cucina e soprattutto l’accoglienza dei proprietari. Dopo un pranzo siamo tornati anche per la cena e le impressioni sono state confermate. Consigliamo vivamente l’esperienza.

Excellent tapas, mozzarella and fried cheddar. Belgian beer!! The desserts! Excellent value for money, kindness and you can order with your tablet

21/06/2025: The reason for this review is not for the food or the location, because it is still a nice place in the heart of Gaeta. But arriving at least 20 minutes late (justified reason that if you have a pregnant woman and despite everything you try to find parking (which is not easy in the summer), in the end you call to say that you are late for this reason. The answer that honestly in all these years, even traveling around Italy I would never have expected (take the train and come, coming by car is not feasible), honestly is not an answer to give. I start from the assumption that if you already take the train even if you don't want to it is €4 per person, maybe for 2 return trips it is €16 (let's take the example for 4 people it is €32 and so on) does the restaurant take responsibility for refunding this money? Of course not, so if you tell me that at 9:30 pm I have to get up and leave because the calculation for them if you book at 8:30 pm is that you eat quickly in 1 hour, which means that you don't enjoy the food but eat with anxiety, I don't even think it's fair. They brought me the bill with half a beer still to finish, honestly I did nothing but get up without saying anything, pay and leave. But at this point I would say never go to them again!

06/05/2025: I returned after years because the location is beautiful close to the beach and with convenient parking but I found a spartan service and in trouble high prices...spaghetti with mussels not even a trace of mussels inside the shell unfortunately it has gotten worse I'm sorry

21/04/2025: Se devo dare un giudizio sul cibo? non saprei perché a ma la pena ho assaggiato la mozzarella. Accolti con isterismo dalla proprietaria e cacciati sempre con isterismo da quest’ultima. Il motivo? Seduti da più di un’ora, senza aver mangiato nulla e aver perso una mattinata.
