03/11/2024: POV, as young people say: you are in Gaeta and you try to extricate yourself from the tourist traps stuck in the fantastic 80s with their clams and always the same preparations. Suddenly you stop in front of Stato Brado and decide that maybe you might like some well-done meat. Gentlemen, well it is limiting. Incredible environment, absurd knowledge of the product, incredible flavors and stratospheric quality. We ate mixed carpaccio, tartare and sliced ​​wagyu and I can't tell you what an experience it was. Top three of my life. Gaeta was in extreme need of these kids.

29/12/2024: Ambiente spartano e sapori autentici sono i punti di forza di questo ristorante che definirei piú una trattoria di mare. Paella assolutamente buona e porzioni abbondanti, frittura mista top, personale cordiale e servizio perfetto. Prezzi non troppo alti. Mi sento di consigliarlo.

Dolci molto buoni e soprattutto accoglienza, professionalità e tanta tanta disponibilità condita da simpatia... Ugo è una persona speciale e molto molto professionale! SUPER!

05/01/2025: Finalmente siamo riusciti a prenotare per il pranzo, il ristorante ha accolto anche il nostro cane e non è da tutti. Piatti abbondanti e pesce fresco, prezzo giusto per la qualità e bontà di quanto degustato. Ottima la falangina di loro produzione e servizio attento e puntuale. Da provare e ritornare. Come diceva mia nonna “pe cient’anni” e nel loro caso, essendo già al primo secolo, per altri 100 anni, a salut vostra e nostra.

14/01/2025: A Saturday in Gaeta and a tip from a local to eat something quick before an appointment.... The Butcher's shop! A little old environment with some infiltration on the ceiling which was found well and contributes to a pleasant environment. Lively welcome from the owner who, together with the cook, governs the place. Let's start with a mussel health and a chickpea and clam soup: the first ones are not very tasty and a little forced in the dish served and I'm not enthusiastic about the soup... a little salty and a little too soupy. Followed by spaghetti Gaetana with anchovies, fennel, olives, tomato which for me are too pimpy... but my wife likes it and a fujto cod parmigiana, who had seen little of cod. White house wine Malvasia Puntonato and Trebbiano conclude a less than satisfactory visit... with a bill of around €60. correct. ps if we ate better even more correct

30/12/2024: You go there and you come back and then you come back and then you come back again and again! Nice setting, lovely staff, great cocktails and good food at very reasonable prices. The tapas formula is perfect for an aperitif, but if you stay and taste something more it becomes a good dinner. Chicken popcorn is a must for children who then, by tasting some tacos or bao, enjoy a good and tasty meal.

30/12/2024: The place is very nice, distributed in various spaces and very welcoming. We came in the winter so it was nice and warm, but we will return in the summer to repeat the experience. The food was good although the menu is quite sparse. For a place that professes to be a pub you should have a French fry, also because baked potatoes may not appeal to everyone (here I am!). The final bill was perhaps a little expensive. The service... We had to get up a few times to call the waiters, and again: a place that calls itself a restaurant should not allow this to happen. Maybe this confused me a little: is it a tavern? A restaurant? A pub? It is not clear what identity the place wants to have and this is reflected in the menu, the service and the management of the room.
