08/07/2025: I'm usually one for the classics, but this time the guy recommended the "New Era Spritz," and it was the right choice! Fresh, thirst-quenching, and delicate, very, very good! The croutons were also excellent!

16/07/2025: We ate: bruschetta, good, crispy bread, and well-made. The chef's recommended dish, spaghetti with clams and mussels, was hardly worthy of its name. It was certainly priced at €10, but the spaghetti was reheated, with small lupini beans and shriveled mussels. Then there was a seafood salad made with very poor quality ingredients, and finally a fried calamari dish, which was, however, very good, tender, and well-fried.

10/07/2025: A very touristy restaurant, and unfortunately, it shows. I went to this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. The seafood salad was bland. The fried food, on the other hand, held its own: well-cooked, not too greasy, though nothing memorable. The dessert? A real scam: ridiculous portions and supermarket-quality. Calling it an "artisanal dessert" is offensive to someone who truly knows how to make pastries. On a positive note, the local wine is simple but pleasant. Overall, a place that thrives on location and traffic. I wouldn't return. It's fine if you're satisfied, but if you're looking for something authentic or refined, look elsewhere.

05/07/2025: The fish is fresh, the menu is varied and the dishes are well presented. We were very satisfied, impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere. The open kitchen, an operation of respect and transparency of the restaurateur. For us it was a formidable added value. Excellent value for money. We ate both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!!!

08/07/2025: Everything was excellent, maybe because Tuesdays aren't as crowded as the weekends, but the meat was divine, the staff were always attentive, friendly, and helpful, the wait times were reasonable, and the bill was fair. The house-made bread and cover charge were free, and there were many types of meat, all excellent quality. Highly recommended!

21/06/2025: Short cut Good potatoes Very good parmigiana Too bad about the bad experience with the meat, unfortunately it went a bit too far in conservation... It's not the first time that it happens to me in different places, I've always eaten meat and I know it well. It's not a question of aging or particular flavor of foreign meats, but rather of poorly preserved meat. Strong smell also felt at the next table, the diners at the table turn around and confirm that their meat (different cut) had the same smell and flavor. Obviously, as every time I kindly point it out, we are told that it is the type of meat... basically, the same story everywhere... more cuts of different types had the taste and smell of rotten meat... but oh well, maybe I'm crazy... To be precise, we are talking about the Brazilian cut that was supposed to be accompanied by Palmito... of which not even a shadow... Bread missing... Too bad because the fillet with truffle and the parmigiana are worth it, ruining yourself like this is a shame In the meantime, I'm walking around Gaeta at midnight looking for an open pizzeria after a day of fasting...

24/06/2025: Quite busy, always with a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Very fresh and well cooked fish, excellent fried food, clean and tasty. The first courses are abundant and tasty, the seafood is really good, both fresh and cooked. Fast service and the plastic bucket with ice to keep drinks cool is beautiful

19/06/2025: I was disappointed by 1) service: only one person serving the tables, also in charge of clearing, a lot of confusion and waiting. I ordered a first course called 2) the first courses: I had the impression that they had cooked the pasta separately and then poured the various sauces over it. So the pasta and the sauce were not creamy enough to taste them.

17/06/2025: I had been to this restaurant 6 years ago and I wanted to go back because I had a good memory of it: fish dishes cooked in a simple, tasty way at a reasonable price but apparently everything has changed FOR THE WORSE!!! Starting from the inattentive, confused and disorganized service as there was only one lady with a stressed look (it was probably the same owner who serves and takes orders for all the tables). The fried calamari only which was nothing more than a modest cuoppo placed on a plastic plate for the price of €15! The sore point concerns the 2 first courses... both spaghetti but with different condiments, which tasted of nothing, except spaghetti in white sauce and garlic! Basically they had cooked the spaghetti and only threw in the clams at the end, one of them, the crab, without mixing anything... there was no condiment, no sauce, they were dry... at that price? Paying €20 and €28 for spaghetti that only tastes of garlic, I'll make it myself at home... If I hadn't insisted 3 times during and at the end of the meal to have them bring me the tongs to break the crab claws, to this day, I would still be sitting there waiting to eat the crab...

17/07/2025: I recommend this place because with a spectacular sea view, you can enjoy delicious seafood dishes like crab calamarata at a good price. The service is friendly and always attentive.

17/07/2025: Wonderful experience. Excellent food, professional and empathetic service, and a location with a beautiful view. A stone's throw from the evocative Sanctuary of the Madonna Spaccata.

22/06/2025: Excellent beach with delicious wood-fired pizza! Prices a little above average! But all in all it's ok!

14/06/2025: Very large central establishment along the Serapo beach, with a good restaurant (I attach a photo). The only flaw is the slightly high prices for June. €30 for an umbrella and two sun loungers from 12.30pm and €54 for two for an appetizer, two first courses, water and coffee.

03/07/2025: I returned to Lido Oriente, after 3 years with my nephew. I can confirm everything I had already written some time ago: the availability of the unmatched staff, the umbrellas arranged in a perfect way to have air even at the back and the restaurant's proposals varied, inviting and delicious (the fried fish is crazy). I had not noticed, some time ago, that there is also a very nice children's play area, but, above all, the mini club service which is top.

01/07/2025: I came with my parents and mother-in-law to escape the city heat. I was pleased to note that the beach was easily accessible for people with mobility difficulties and that the lifeguards had special consideration for children and the less young. We had lunch at the restaurant, where everything was very good, especially the appetizers. I must emphasize that the staff is not only knowledgeable, even in recommending the right wine for each dish, but also proved to be very patient and kind in managing our last-minute requests. 15/07/2025: Embarrassing. We and another couple were waiting for 50+ minutes for a simple order while the guests were coming and going. On top of that, the lady working there was unpleasant and rude when we voiced our dissatisfaction. Although the food is decent, I would not recommend going there.

15/07/2025: 💯 We had the Special Burger, Hot Dog and medium fries. 💯 Wow! 😋😋 What a tasty burger 🍔 and the fries were the best we've had since we set sail from England.
