17/08/2025: After a visit to Lake Canterno, we decided to dine here. We were completely satisfied; my friends already knew the place, but it was my very first time. The staff were welcoming, the food was very good and plentiful. Great prices, and the location was beautiful.

12/07/2025: 2 pizzas, two bottles of water and two coffees for the modest sum of €40, slow, not to mention the missing price list for the pizzas and 0 starters... never again

19/08/2025: This restaurant is well known and has had positive experiences. I recently spent Ferragosto there, and I must say that despite the crowds and the unpredictable weather, I had a wonderful day. The restaurant is located practically on the shore of Lake Cardito, and you can take a walk along the lakeside after/before lunch. The food was excellent, homemade and high-quality, especially the roast lamb. The service, despite the crowds, was good.

12/08/2025: I've known this restaurant since I was a child. It hasn't changed much, and I think that's a positive thing. Simple food, a limited menu because everything is freshly cooked, and a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere, as it should be in a place like this. Its proximity to Lake Cardito, a place of peace and surprising beauty, is priceless. P.S. Ask for the shortcut that takes you directly to the lake, for a refreshing stroll.

26/10/2025: I ordered a croissant and cappuccino and enjoyed it at a table outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restroom wasn't particularly clean, but it was usable.

28/10/2025: We are two pilgrims on the Way of St. Benedict and happened upon this trattoria/pizzeria. The atmosphere is from another era, and some might think it's a bit dated, but it immediately reminded me of old-fashioned restaurants, and I felt right at home. We ordered two pizzas, both excellent! They were served pre-sliced ​​on a platter so we could share. I highly recommend it.

My partner, to avoid waiting too long, had to settle for a vegan croissant, while I opted for a simple coffee, since there was nothing savory available. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of service. Truly disappointing, I'll never come back. For me, it's a complete no-no.

03/06/2025: Entering this bar is like disturbing someone in their home. The barmaids, especially the one in her fifties, treat you with rudeness that borders on embarrassment, throwing cigarette packs as if you were a nuisance, grimacing every time you pay with your card and answering requests with an annoyed tone, as if their job were a punishment. A toxic place, where the customer is treated like an intruder. To be avoided like the plague.

29/09/2025: A well-kept restaurant overlooking the Liri River, not the waterfalls. Well, the adventure began, following 8 friends for a Sunday. A local friend of ours, a very nice person, accompanied us to the restaurant. We arrived at 1:20 PM, we sat down comfortably, and at 2:20 PM, I think it was the owner who introduced himself with the menu, saying it's 2:20 PM. I replied with yesterday's irony. After a long wait for the orders, we ordered 4 porcini mushrooms with tonnarelli, the other with truffles. Another long wait, the porcini mushrooms were ashamed of being called PORCINI MUSHROOMS, tasteless, they had neither flavor nor smell. The second course was always very slow, the meat was excellent. Upon recommendation, as I repeat, I don't know if it was the owner waiting to bring me a bruschetta, a slice of bread divided in two, tomato and olive pâté, €8. To conclude, the service was slow and rude, the dishes were of poor quality for the exuberant price.

19/10/2025: Today we took the opportunity to have lunch at the taverna. The atmosphere is rustic, just as a forest retreat should be. Speaking of the dishes, I can only compliment the chef; everything was delicious and the portions generous. The service, which I've read in many reviews isn't top-notch, was, in my opinion, professional and prompt.

15/10/2025: We had the fettuccine with truffle for our first course, and it was truly tasteless. I find it hard to believe they were homemade, and they were truly awful anyway. The arristicini were decent, and the baked potatoes were poor. Not recommended.

21/09/2025: Terrible experience, fettuccine with non-existent ragù, the main course roasted topside with tons of salt, everything needs to be redone from 1809 to today, you haven't learned to cook yet, the quality/price ratio is disproportionate! We definitely won't be back.

21/09/2025: For what it offers a bit expensive, very slow for the starters we waited about 50 minutes even if the restaurant was not very full (Sunday), first and second courses honest but nothing exciting.
