03/08/2025: The Passi bakery is a historic place in the Testaccio neighborhood. The bread is made with excellent ingredients, just like in the old days. You can also buy excellent ready-made meals. The biscuits and desserts are also delicious, as if they were homemade. If you're in the area, you must visit.

12/09/2025: I placed a home delivery order. 1 Nargherita 1 Margherita with mushrooms 6 Ascona olives (6 pieces) 2 suppli 1 can of Coke €38 Besides the shameful price, 1 Ascoli scoop €1.00 1 suppli €3.50 And I won't go further, the pizzas didn't stand up straight, they were limp and burned.

08/11/2025: Fantastic place! Warm, freshly baked bread. Delicious pizza. Various appetizers with fresh, local ingredients, prepared with care. I felt pampered. I'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: Location carina dall'aria familiare tenuta bene. Buona la pizza molto leggera e dal gusto delicato, bella la presentazione sul tagliere di legno ,parlo della pizza a metro. Personale gentile. Portate dei primi piatti e secondi abbondanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo nella media.

13/07/2025: Il locale ha un’atmosfera accogliente e curata, perfetta sia per un caffè veloce che per una pausa più lunga a pranzo o a cena. Ai tavoli verrete assistiti da Andrea, un cameriere di rara professionalità e gentilezza. Con un sorriso sincero e una grande attenzione al cliente, è riuscito a rendere il nostro momento al tavolo ancora più piacevole. È raro trovare qualcuno così appassionato del proprio lavoro e capace di coniugare efficienza e calore umano. Il menù è vario e ben pensato, con proposte che uniscono tradizione e creatività. Ottimi anche i caffè e i dolci, perfetti per una pausa golosa. Fermento è sicuramente un posto in cui tornare. Consigliatissimo – e chiedete di Andrea!

06/07/2025: Comida fantástica, vino excelente, servicio atento, gran ambiente. Lo probé después de leer las otras críticas pero sin esperar mucho, el lugar es en realidad una joya inesperada. El camarero Andrea, muy amable y profesional, nos hizo sentir inmediatamente bienvenidos y a gusto. Seguimos sus sugerencias para la cena y disfrutamos de cada plato (desde una deliciosa burrata con aceitunas alici y tomates secos, unos tagliolini alle vongole maravillosamente sedosos y unos fettuccine al ragù di manzo tradicionalmente ricos) acompañados de un vino blanco delicado pero multidimensional. Delicioso tiramisú para cerrar una cena perfecta y de lo más agradable. Gracias, definitivamente volveremos.

It's a shame about the location, which, to maximize space and despite the myriad of tables, could seat you right next to the cash register, making the comings and goings of those paying seem a bit intrusive. P.S.: Not even a €1 discount on a bill of over €300...

07/11/2025: I ordered a Greek salad made with two slices of cucumber, a handful of olives, four cherry tomatoes, and maybe 10 cubes of feta. It cost me 12 euros, which was crazy, and it was served without bread. My colleagues waited 30 minutes for their pizza. My experience was terrible, and I don't think I'll ever go back. I felt cheated with that plate of salad that must have cost maybe 3 euros. Truly shameful.

22/11/2025: From the outside, I would never have guessed that the interior of the restaurant had been recreated as a sea cave. I loved it, and the dinner was enlivened by a pianist. Recommended.

19/12/2025: A unique location and authentic atmosphere: from the first sight, you get the feeling of being in a pizzeria with an old-fashioned feel. The marble tables are the restaurant's hallmark (hence the name). The backlit interior signs (a bit retro, reminiscent of the '70s) contribute to a slightly nostalgic atmosphere. The atmosphere is "spartan": tables close together, limited space, constant chatter... in short, Roman style without frills. The appetizers (fried pasta and supplì) are super crispy. The pizza: yes, good (thin, light, and crunchy, just what I wanted). However, being so thin, if you eat it outside, it tends to get cold quickly (perhaps for this very reason, it didn't leave me with a great memory! But it's fine for a "pleasant and easy" dinner). The service, despite the crowd, is quick and efficient (Thanks Liridon!!). In short: if you're looking for a pizzeria with an authentic Roman feel that focuses on pizza "as it used to be made," Ai Marmi is perfect.

18/12/2025: This pizzeria convinced me that Brexit was a bad idea, I would openly welcome this family to live in the uk to open just one of their pizzerias( but thanks to Farage I can’t) one million out of ten must try- minus our basic choices too many beers before. From a man who did vote remain

18/10/2025: After wandering around various restaurants on the island and not finding a decent fish dish, I was lucky enough to stop here and find just the right one, not those frozen sauces that taste of nothing but authentic flavors. We had been there during the day for lunch and returned in the evening. We trusted the owner who amazed us, from the appetizer to the dessert everything was excellent. Even the price compared to others is more than fair, I will definitely be back, thank you.

20/08/2025: Among the worst restaurants we've ever been to. We went for dinner last night, there were four of us. From the beginning, we knew it would be a tough night. After booking with The Fork, we waited almost 10 minutes for a table and were seated in a small, hot back room, surrounded by children who had probably just finished a birthday party. We waited over 20 minutes before receiving our menus, and about 50 minutes passed between ordering and receiving the first course, despite the restaurant being almost empty (there were about 10 seats in addition to the four of us). Luckily, we managed to move to the main room, hoping the evening would improve. When the house appetizer arrived, we immediately noticed the poor quality of the products. Specifically: - The focaccia seemed frozen, or perhaps not properly leavened; - The cheese had signs of mold on the rind; - The cooked ham was not fresh; - The olives were not good; they were immersed in a very strong brine. We eagerly awaited the first courses, but sadly, we realized the evening was coming to an end. The two steaks we ordered for €6 per 100g were inedible! The meat was very thick and very fatty, making it difficult to tell what kind of cut it was. It was served with gorgonzola and pears, whose smell did not bode well. The first bite was nauseating and forced us to send the dishes back, something we had never done before at any restaurant. We expressed our displeasure to the waiter, the only one in the room, who was always polite and attentive with the service. Unfortunately, this negative review is necessary, as we felt disrespected as paying customers. We sincerely hope that the chef and staff will take these, in our view, very serious criticisms to heart, so that they can draw on them for future improvement.
