A corner of paradise on the magical and evocative Appian Way, surrounded by greenery. Friendly staff, very good food. I would extend the breakfast selection, which you no longer find at 11 a.m. Still, very nice. Prices are a bit high, but you're probably paying for the location ☀️

This bar has a unique location, just a few hundred meters from the tomb of Cecilia Metella on the Ancient Appian Way.
It has plenty of tables both directly on the Appian Way and in a large, well-kept garden. Friendly staff, and in addition to the classic breakfast (coffee, cappuccino, and croissants), they also serve tramezzini and panini for a quick lunch.

A nice little spot for a break when traveling along the Appian Way, whether by bike or on foot.
I'm very pleased that you can enjoy draft beer.
Because it's a bar, you can't expect much from the food, but everything else is good.

A nice little café on the Via Appia Antica, well-located for a stop and a break on the way back. There's also the option to eat on the terrace. Prices are a bit high, but not outrageous. The staff speak English.

A very pleasant terrace for watching people go by along the Appian Way.
Appia Antica Caffe is a must! The staff were some of the kindest and most friendly people we’ve met in Rome. This is a great place to have a yummy pastry, a beer or bite to eat. Highly recommend stopping by, and you can rent bikes here!

I often enjoy strolling along the Appian Way, and coffee breaks are excellent here. The cappuccino made by the kind woman at the counter was delicious. Good coffee and excellent service.
