05/12/2024: Sono andata in questo locale che devo dire essere posizionato in una zona molto bella di Roma. Il locale è anche carino ma il cibo niente di che. Ho ordinato due cappuccini e due tramezzini. Cappuccino non buono, troppo schiumoso con pochissimo caffè; tramezzino immangiabile: temevo anche che la maionese dentro non fosse buona, non aveva un buon sapore. Non penso che tornerò

31/08/2024: Thursday evening we went to 'dinner' in this restaurant, I had booked in advance, we arrived at 8.00pm There were 2 of us and a small dog on a leash, we entered through the main entrance and they made us sit outside at a table away from everyone else, the room still empty. More customers begin to arrive, the waiter begins to take everyone's orders, but not us. After 30 minutes I call him and he tells us he will arrive soon. Another 15 minutes pass and I decide to get up to call him again. After a total of 50 minutes of waiting he finally arrives at our table to take our order. We start to ask what we would like to eat but the waiter looks at us, sees that we had a little dog (no animal was magically made to appear at the table), calls the owner and they kick us out of the restaurant after almost an hour of waiting. This is how this wonderful evening ends ✌🏾

22/11/2024: The ideal place for a quick lunch! They offer lots of options (both first courses, second courses and side dishes) and everything is of high quality! I took a first course (artichoke lasagna which I still remember today for how good it was!), a supplì, a side dish and a bottle of water, paying €12.50. Very very good value for money. Furthermore, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area to take the train from Trastevere and is looking for a quick meal, the restaurant is located a few steps from the station. Plus tons of vegetarian/vegan options!

20/11/2024: From 5 and that's it. At Zio you drink excellent beer, you eat delicious sandwiches, pinsas and plates. Zio's friendliness is unique, two laughs are guaranteed. Nice room covered in wood, very warm. The upper floor has a view towards the floor below. The entrance is beautiful with the tables outside and under a huge oak tree that covers the entire external area. What can I say, the best place to eat and drink

02/01/2025: We are located in the northwest Roman suburbs, ancient, true and authentic. If you are from the real Rome, you will be able to fully understand what I am referring to. Hosteria di borgata, good and simple Roman dishes like those that your mother or grandmother used to prepare for you, you will be happy.

28/11/2024: andata ggi a pranzo con due amiche che hanno preso saute di cozze che hanno trovato buono, antipasto di mare e una porzione di scialatelli alle vongole e funghi porcini divisa in due. io alicette fritte per antipasto, così e così e dgli spaghetti alle vongole che avevo chiesto leggermente piccanti. arriva questo piatto con gli spaghetti precotti salatissimi e piccantissimi con le vongole un pó troppo molle, lo chiamerei spaghetti scotti piccanti al sale visto che non sapevano di altro! non ho pagato io e non sono sicura ma te li fa sciroppare pure 25€… da cancellare!

07/12/2024: Surprise party was a great success and with great attention from all the staff and the kitchen, a truly beautiful evening with excellent food and impeccable service from the staff, attentive and professional but at the same time making us feel at home. Highly recommended!!!!!

13/12/2024: The venue is an authentic jewel, characterized by welcoming rooms with stone walls that create a romantic and evocative atmosphere. Every detail is taken care of, from the mangers on the walls to the historical artefacts to admire, up to the cellar, the real jewel in the crown. Here Mr. Ernesto, a kind owner and charming storyteller, has created a unique fountain, from which the wine flows from above into a barrel, giving a touch of magic to the environment. The homemade cuisine is light, tasty and also suitable for those with special needs, such as celiacs. Among the dishes not to be missed, risotto and pinse stand out, prepared with quality ingredients. It is a place that captivates at first glance and will, without a doubt, become a favorite for those who visit it.

03/12/2024: This review will not provide information on the quality of the cuisine, which would appear to be of a good standard from the personal reports I received, but on the quality and professionalism of the owners. I am a fan of Campania cuisine, and by virtue of the good reviews received from trusted friends, I decide to discover this place. I sign up on the Facebook social page, I ask if the dish on the "zite alla Genovese" menu is always available or is it off-menu, and I inform them that I would soon book with a group of friends to try their cuisine, in particular that dish of which we are fond of. "We are waiting for you with open arms", this is the comment on the Facebook page, to which I also put a sappy little heart. This morning I book via the Wa channel, I request 14 places for Saturday 14 December. I was immediately informed that due to an event already scheduled for that date, they could not accept my request. They apologize and at the same time invite me to propose an alternative date. I propose to bring it forward to Friday 13 December; unfortunately the venue is not available for that date either. I therefore suggest moving to the following weekend, Friday 20th or Saturday 21st December, I leave it up to them to choose the day according to availability, however, keeping in mind that there will no longer be 14 of us, but between 8 and 10 people. After a few minutes, I was informed by telegram that the restaurant does not accept table reservations. Thank you for your interest. Stunned by such a response, I highlight the lack of transparency and contradictory nature of their behavior, I invite them to provide the correct information on the social pages they manage, and to quantify the number beyond which the reservation cannot be accepted as it is considered a "table" . (from the exchange of messages I deduce that the limit must not exceed 8 people, but I suggest asking for confirmation). So, if you want to try the cuisine of this place together with other people, know that there is a numerical limit to be able to access; if, unfortunately, you are a typical family of 4 people who would like to spend an evening with another typical family dear to them, also of 4 people, avoid calling them, or book separately. I must say that the managers apologized after my complaints, blaming a collaborator who was not aware of the ban on taking tables. Professionalism and customer care are fundamental, and are not only expressed in the refinement of the quality of the raw materials and in knowing how to cook them. But also by communicating, on websites or on Facebook or Instagram pages, by virtue of clarity and transparency, one's legitimate business choices, such as not taking reservations above a certain limit. And above all, avoiding communicating it telegraphically and abruptly, after a morning of exchanging messages and after the client has proposed 3 other alternative dates at their invitation. For me, for my 14 friends, this place does not deserve to be visited anymore. We need to give positive energy only to those who deserve it.

17/11/2024: Recommended by a friend, I went to this place for dinner with my wife. We ordered and ate everything; from appetizers to dessert. We were very satisfied as all the dishes were of excellent quality. The service was also fast and the managers were very friendly and approachable.

29/11/2024: super consigliato, cibo ottimo, servizio molto cortese! abbiamo ordinato dei ravioli di ricotta di bufala con burro, fiori di lavanda e mandorle tostate.. buonissimi per secondo picanha con patate arrosto eccezionale dolci ottimi, soprattutto il tiramisù torneremo sicuramente!

05/01/2025: Sicily is really far away and unfortunately this place has not managed to evoke it either in the flavors of the dishes or in the colors of the furnishings. The caponata is good, the aubergine meatballs are decent, as are the anelletti alla norma. The desserts literally leave a bad taste in the mouth: the cannoli is mediocre, the torteno with hot heart without hot heart is so cooked that it is partly burnt. Sicily is something else.

26/12/2024: Upon entering we were immediately attracted by the very simple look and the small but warm and comfortable environment. Special dishes, essentially based on porchetta and cured meats. The millefeuille is delicious. But the pasta and beans and the lasagna are also excellent. The house wine is delicious and has a genuine flavour. Friendly and welcoming owner. Good value for money. We will be back.

10/12/2024: If you are looking for first courses and if you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. Here you can find, combined with typical products, top quality ingredients, refined but still without frills and pretensions. The combinations with porchetta (millefoglie) were, for us, a surprise that we feel we must share. The plating was well taken care of, far above the standards of fraschette and taverns. Claudio was very kind, helpful and friendly. It is one of the few places we will certainly return to. Parking difficulty: very high in the vicinity.

26/08/2024: Wonderful hotel , they are able to accommodate a whole family . Perfect location, very clean and quite . High quality customer service, we have been using this hotel for the past few years . We never had any issues. Our only to go hotel is this hotel Sunny Palace .
