05/07/2025: abbiamo cenato qui in famiglia ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Dagli antipasti ai primi e ai secondi tutti di altissima qualità. Consigliato sopratutto se cercate una soluzione tranquilla e lontana dal trambusto della cittadina. Servizio impeccabile.

20/07/2025: I ate a pizza diavola and drank two excellent German lager beers with character. I bought Gabriele's book 'shot', which can be purchased on site... I RECOMMEND PURCHASING A PLEASANT STORY, with the author's autograph and dedication.

18/07/2025: I went today with my parents for a quick lunch. I found out about it through my partner, who happened to be looking for a place to have lunch a few days ago. Everything was truly excellent, the food was exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and it was reasonably priced. There were three of us, and we paid €28. We had a trio (cold pasta, sliced chicken with rosemary and fennel as a side dish), a first course, cold pasta, and a second course with a side dish (orange scallops with baked potatoes). To drink, we had still water and three coffees. The guy also offered us a creamy pasta dish with our coffee, which was delicious. Everything was excellent. If I'm ever in Pomezia for lunch, I'll definitely stop by!

25/10/2025: If you're looking for a family-friendly atmosphere with dishes prepared with attention to flavor and quantity, this is the restaurant for you. The service is always impeccable, courteous, and attentive. Prices are reasonable based on the dishes you choose, with both meat and fish à la carte menus, and in both cases everything is cooked and served with attention to both the dish and the customer. Delicious desserts and a good selection of spirits and wines. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing evening, enjoying authentic cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. When we go, we always order the mussel soup and tonnarello allo scoglio, and we never pass up the tiramisu.

19/10/2025: My husband and I were invited to a birthday party yesterday. I'm celiac, and my husband has to eat everything without salt. From the appetizer to the first course, everything was unparalleled. For both of us. I highly recommend this place to anyone who, like me, has a hard time going out because they're afraid of cross-contamination. The staff is very attentive, polite, and always smiling. Kudos to those who run "Marechiaro."

09/11/2025: An oasis of peace and beauty, practically a stone's throw from the heart of Rome! A true castle with an adjoining tower, luxurious rooms yet respectful of the period architecture. Sumptuous halls with frescoes. I was a guest for a birthday in this corner of paradise! The castle is surrounded by a beautiful private park with ample parking and even a swimming pool, which, in the summer months, is perfect for dissipating the heat! The food was exquisite, the appetizers served with meticulous care in the garden, a triumph of cured meats, cheeses, and dairy products of every type and of the highest quality, and the fried foods made on the spot before our hungry eyes. The first and second courses, seated at the table inside in sumptuous halls with tapestries and frescoes, provided the perfect backdrop for our sumptuous banquet. Food for all tastes, all palates, and all allergies! And the desserts, once again served outside, were truly ecstatic. I'd say it's an excellent place that you have to try: it's definitely the dress rehearsal to understand what it will feel like one day in... Paradise!

28/09/2025: Worth the wait! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2. The calamari mixto and the Pulpo and were delicious!! The staff (Carmen, Pepe, & Alex) were super friendly!! One of my favorite meals in Gaeta.

01/11/2025: A lovely trattoria outside the city walls. From the outdoor tables, at the edge of an olive grove, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Roman countryside, from Mount Soratte to Terminillo. Excellent preparations. They also serve pizza for lunch. The grilled meats are delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Average prices.

27/10/2025: Last Sunday, at the suggestion of a friend and encouraged by the good reviews I'd read, I came to this place. However, I realized the reviews weren't accurate: this place isn't comfortable, but GOOD, GOOD, GOOD! Ample, easily accessible parking; ample outdoor seating with a FANTASTIC view of the Minterotondo valley (it will become my "battlefield" next summer, when I go "out of town" for lunch/dinner); a casual atmosphere, but always characterized by the utmost courtesy and customer service. However, considering the core business of every restaurant—the quality of the cuisine—I can only give it a full TEN WITH HONOURS. A few dishes, all flavorful, demonstrating the use of fresh, quality products, supposedly (but I believe it) locally sourced! I especially ordered a sausage with mustard sauce, both homemade, which struck me as DELICIOUS, and as an experienced and seasoned gourmet like me, it's not easy to get carried away. The price was very fair, both for the amount ordered and for the average customer base of this type of restaurant. I'll definitely be back, and as an experienced contributor, I encourage community members to do the same. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

12/11/2025: I had lunch at this trattoria, and I have to admit the food wasn't bad, but there are several things that make me give it a rather low rating overall. First of all, the dining room was small and extremely noisy. I left with a headache. Then, being alone, they relegated me to the darkest, most forgotten corner of the room: I was hidden behind a pillar and a shelf, and every time I needed to call a waiter, I had to get up because they couldn't see me from my position. I started with the Italian antipasto, a mix of cured meats, cheeses, some pickled vegetables, and a bruschetta. A very mixed appetizer: the cured meats were quite meager in both quantity and quality, the two slices of aged cheese were good (too few), the bruschetta with oil was excellent, but only because the oil was good, and the rest of the olives and the single artichoke segment were from a jar they must have bought at the supermarket. It's only worth it because it was cheap. The first course with mushrooms was good, but not as abundant as I'd read. For the second course, I ordered a portion of sausages and the special of the day: baked porcini mushrooms. No complaints about the sausages, good and tasty. I have a lot to say about the porcini mushrooms: I asked how large the portion was and was told it was about 300 grams, so I expect a good portion! Too bad I got the mushroom head, half a porcini stem, and a larger slice of a stem from another mushroom... I asked for an explanation and they turned it around, telling me the stem of my mushroom was small and they'd added another piece. Half the stem of my mushroom was missing, and what I had on my plate certainly wasn't 300 grams!! Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because I was quite annoyed. And above all, I didn't want to make any more fuss and try to enjoy my lunch. Anyway, the porcini tasted good. I finished with a slice of their homemade tart and coffee. The lunch ended on a high note when I got the bill and noticed they'd charged me one euro more than the price on the menu, and when they made a fuss about me taking away the bottle of water I hadn't finished. Luckily, after insisting about their pricing error, they took a euro and a fifty off me and muttered that they'd "allow" me to take away the water I'd paid for. I spent €40 in total. The first and second courses were good, but the appetizer was completely forgettable. Pricing errors, unclear portion sizes, complaints about taking away the bottle of water... Overall, I'd give it a passing grade, but I don't think I'll return: unfortunately, the service was truly poor and lacking transparency, and for me, that's crucial. Two stars, given everything that happened, seems harsh, but fair.

06/12/2025: We went for lunch to celebrate my son's Master's degree. The atmosphere was lovely, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The tagliolini allo scoglio were excellent. Then we went for a walk on the lake. What more could you ask for?
