16/12/2024: Returning to this place after almost a year, we find good but very very thin pizzas. The place inside is nice, but the service is quite approximate. We ask for two baby pizzas and when it comes to the bill I realize that they charge me €7, 5 instead of 8. Wasn't it better to say that they didn't make baby pizzas? So it seemed like a joke, without calculating €2 each for the cover charge (a brownish paper placemat...). However, overall the place is nice and you can spend an evening in peace... but there is better...

03/12/2024: Well the guarantee of the pizzas at Romolo is a given, but I liked both some pizzas other than the classic ones and then the subscription with one of the best Italian draft beers... the Menabrea!!! Congratulations to the service guys who, even though it was Saturday and the place was full, were very fast!!!

29/07/2024: Pochi bar hanno accoglienza e simpatia come happy bar, e in aggiunta si possono gustare cappuccini e caffè veramente buoni, ora si è arricchito anche dei gelati per i nostri amici a 4 zampe, anche questi graditi dal mio polso. Tutto veramente eccezionale.

06/01/2025: We tried this place for the first time, but left a little disappointed. The cold cuts appetizer was really poor and not much appreciated; the fried foods are not bad. As for the first courses, the fettuccine with white ragù was really good, while the tonnarello with cod and artichokes was very disappointing. Friendly service, although the bill was not considered adequate compared to how much we ate.

02/01/2025: We had dinner last night in this place, ordering appetizers (supplì, fried cod, platter of cured meats with focaccia, fried artichokes), first courses (a plate of gricia, one of amatriciana and a plate of cacio e pepe) and a roasted octopus. Not only these dishes are excellent, but also the desserts. The impeccable service: friendly staff and little waiting. Very recommended!

30/12/2024: The place is very nice, distributed in various spaces and very welcoming. We came in the winter so it was nice and warm, but we will return in the summer to repeat the experience. The food was good although the menu is quite sparse. For a place that professes to be a pub you should have a French fry, also because baked potatoes may not appeal to everyone (here I am!). The final bill was perhaps a little expensive. The service... We had to get up a few times to call the waiters, and again: a place that calls itself a restaurant should not allow this to happen. Maybe this confused me a little: is it a tavern? A restaurant? A pub? It is not clear what identity the place wants to have and this is reflected in the menu, the service and the management of the room.

11/12/2024: I RECOMMEND IT!! I celebrated my birthday in company, and I received compliments from all the guests on the pizza. Panzerotti are a delicious and original alternative to the usual fried foods. Good food, punctuality and courtesy. I will definitely order again

11/12/2024: The cuisine is excellent, not very elaborate, but essential and genuine. The service is good and there is no lack of kindness and attention towards the customer. Unfortunately the place is not the best. The spaces should be redistributed. Anyway, when you go to eat, some pay more attention to the plates than to the walls. I belong to the first category. I've said mine... for the rest, "do your best".

26/11/2024: In questa trattoria, in piena zona Prati, si respira un' aria di famiglia, di casa. Mangiato una carbonara squisita e saltimbocca veramente buoni. Ambiente informale e rispettoso, suggerito a chi vuole immergersi nella tipicità romana.

29/12/2024: Absolutely fabulous experience. A hidden gem in the midst of a busy touristy area. The patrons seemed to be mostly Italian. The service was very friendly and English is well spoken. The food was fresh and delicious. Best of all the ambiance was elegant, yet humble. You felt you were in a local favorite restaurant.
