04/06/2025: Stopped at this small, no-frills bodega while walking through Rome, and it ended up being the best meal I’ve had during my entire time here. Seriously — nothing fancy, just an incredibly well-made sandwich that hit all the right notes. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Everything tasted fresh and balanced, and you could tell they care about the quality of what they serve. The woman working behind the counter was quick, efficient, and so friendly. It felt like the kind of spot locals actually go to — affordable, reliable, and really good. So good that we went in for another sandwich after finishing our first one. If you’re in Rome and want a great, casual bite that doesn’t try too hard, this place is 100% worth a stop.

30/03/2025: We were in Marta for a month and therefore regularly went to Salotto to drink coffee and relax. We really enjoyed the coffee. They even have soy milk for those who like it! The sweet pastries are delicious and the cocktails are also really tasty for the fair prices. We'll definitely be back!

18/05/2025: The place is like the fixed price places, a bit spartan paper napkins and bread served in a bag. However, the space between the tables is considerable and despite it being crowded it was comfortable. The food is excellent and of quality, you can choose between meat or fish menus. I ate good fettuccine alla puttanesca, braciola and salad preceded by a good appetizer. Spending only €15. This is the second time I come here for lunch, next time I will try the fish menu

24/06/2025: Absolutely loved this place. Our bartender Mattia, Miriam and Nico was so friendly and welcoming. We talked about everything and anything. We stopped by for drinks and literally asked Mattia to surprise us, and believe it our not he hit the spot each time! Highly recommend!

27/05/2025: The quality of the Danish fillet was good, but they definitely overdid it with the coarse salt, really too much! the medium cooking was fine, but besides the meat, the rest of the food as a hot food restaurant was decidedly uninviting and the place inside did not seem polished, including the bathroom which was all flooded. Overall a very informal meal of only meat with side dish and a bit of focaccia included, it's ok otherwise I really don't know about the rest. The waiting staff seems superficial, I had to go to the cashier after 15 minutes and no one came to the table to take the order even though table service is provided for the steak. I recommend it yes and no

31/05/2025: Place discovered by chance, we took some pucce and to finish off with bitter pugliese. Small but very welcoming environment. Very kind owners, you can see that they love their job. It feels like eating at home. Definitely worth returning, everything excellent and we also bought some caciocavallo. The place is well stocked with many pugliese delicacies. Congratulations, I confirm that you have hit the right ingredient!!! See you soon

06/06/2025: Fantastic experience. We had Eduardo the waiter and his service was exceptional. We also interacted with 3-4 other members of staff who were all lovely, warm and welcoming. The food and wine were both fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the carbonara, the sirloin steak, the confit tomato ravioli and the gnocca pasta. The spinach side was delicious too. Really recommend the Anthium wine and the tiramisu was the cherry on top. Can’t understand why it’s only 4.3. This was probably our best meal of our trip and we ate at some lovely places and have pretty high expectations in this city for foodies xxx THANK YOU

The genuine things of the past tasted in a welcoming and particular environment, certainly distinguishes itself from the "usual places" now standardized in form and content.
