21/09/2025: We came from Milan and chose Taverna dello Spuntino in Grottaferrata to celebrate my birthday. It's certainly a traditional and very distinctive place, with its underground cellars and rustic atmosphere reminiscent of a medieval round table, amid stone tunnels and hanging hams. Truly unique! The menu focuses on Roman cuisine, although to our surprise, there was no carbonara, a classic we'd expected. The appetizers were good, while the cacio e pepe, while rich, was a bit too heavy on cheese. Overall, however, we couldn't say we had a bad meal. One unfortunate detail: we'd also ordered a cheese platter, which, amidst the confusion of the service and the dishes, was never brought to us. Only later, at home, did we realize we'd been charged for it anyway. A small mistake, but one that leaves the impression of a lack of attention or fairness, especially given the rather modest price. Overall, a charming place for the atmosphere, good for a typical experience, but with room for improvement in service and customer care.

21/09/2025: This isn't the first time my husband and I have stopped for lunch at this little restaurant in the center of Bracciano, and I must say we were truly satisfied this Sunday as well. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxing, and the young woman who welcomed us was extremely kind and professional. I go there especially for the Gricia, which today exceeded my expectations—a beautiful plate of mouthwatering mezze maniche that even made me mop up the sauce. In the end, I left feeling at peace with my stomach and my life. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates traditional dishes served in a relaxing atmosphere in picturesque Bracciano.

21/09/2025: Everything was perfect. Nice and welcoming place. Friendly staff, good food. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the prices were a little high, but with the 50% discount, we got what we paid.

10/06/2025: Welcoming, well-kept, colorful place. Kind and friendly service. The wine selection is well-balanced and complete but what is surprising is the food: excellent, quality and varied with its local proposals and meze. I really liked it and I hope to return soon, maybe on Sunday when they organize their events that I have heard very good things about.

27/05/2025: Hybrid place, it tries to cover a bit of all the expectations of a bar/bistro in a secluded and quiet area of ​​Quadraro: it doesn't succeed, if not perhaps for the turnout and the trendy youth attendance at the weekend. The aperitifs are average, the food doesn't surpass it, with that mix of Roman cuisine but not enough, Mediterranean but not specified what. Mussels with pecorino cheese with pecorino cheese stuck on the mussel (scrape it off to eat it?); hummus from blended chickpeas in a 50 cent jar, without the taste of cumin garlic or tahini. Slow service, nice but slow. I would like it to be less anonymous, but maybe the owners are fine with it, as long as it fills up on the weekend the grain doesn't hurt, on the contrary. However, despite the intentions, the neighborhood deserves better.

02/06/2025: Essendo ospiti del contiguo hotel Villa Tirreno, per le due cene dei nostri soggiorni, abbiamo deciso di affidarci al ristorante Horta, posto al piano terra della struttura. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti sotto ogni aspetto: cucina, servizio, atmosfera. Piatti, della tradizione e non, preparati perfettamente. Carne di gran qualità servita in maniera impeccabile. Il personale, composto esclusivamente da ragazzi, sempre pronto e disponibile, e sempre con il sorriso sul volto. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono: circa 35€ per un pasto di due portate.

04/10/2025: Roman tavern with traditional family-run cuisine. A beautiful and welcoming location, perfectly rustic, with a bright and relaxing atmosphere. The dishes are carefully prepared and presented in generous portions, with few frills—it's practically like eating at grandma's house. The Supplì is a 10/10, super crispy breading, very moist and flavorful on the inside, with plenty of ragù and mozzarella al telefono. The size is also top-notch, satisfying just looking at it 😲. The Pacchero with pajata is delicious, a dish you simply have to mop up with breadcrumbs, a dish that's almost impossible to find in Rome these days. When you find the "lucky pacchero" hiding a knot of pajata inside... it's pure poetry. Many, many compliments, guys 👍👍👍👏. The Tonnarello cacio&pepe is also excellent, and of course, you must try their legendary Carbonara, which has won numerous awards. For the main courses, the oxtail stew was delicious and rustic, with chunks of carrot and celery prominently displayed. It's a shame they didn't add dark chocolate, pine nuts, and raisins, which I personally adore, but it's a matter of personal preference and probably this is how the recipe handed down in the Sellero family is done, and it's right to respect tradition for these historic dishes. The roast lamb with potatoes also holds its own, a delicious dish 😉. To finish on a sweet note, the wild berry millefeuille and the fresh and delicious amaretto semifreddo 😋. The service is precise and super fast; the girl in the dining room is always polite, friendly, and helpful. Sellero & Ventresca Due has become a trusted name when it comes to traditional Roman fare, without all the "modern frills," and with very fair prices (excellent value for money). Congratulations to all the staff, you carry on the Roman tradition with commitment and passion, keep it up guys 👍👏👏👏

08/09/2025: Excellent ice cream shop, the staff are friendly and clean, but what I enjoyed most was my favorite flavor, which not everyone can make; measuring the ingredients is challenging. Few ice cream shops can make zabaglione, and the prices are fair.

04/10/2025: We celebrated my niece Beatrice's first birthday last Saturday. The location is very charming and well-kept, surrounded by greenery, it doesn't even feel like Rome. Despite initial difficulties in making sure everything was as we wanted, in the end, Mr. Filippo accommodated all our requests and everything went smoothly, turning out to be a great success. Fernando was a key to the event's success. With his kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism, he impressed all our guests, who were still talking about him days later! 27/09/2025: We stayed at Edra Palace Hotel for two wonderful days and were extremely satisfied. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the property is well maintained, and the pool area is lovely. 12/08/2025: A very positive experience... a well-maintained hotel managed with care and professionalism... Huge, convenient, and secure parking...large, modernized, and very clean rooms... Super pleasant pool, much appreciated, especially for cooling off after a long trip... New gym with excellent equipment, very useful even for avid bodybuilders...well done! A hotel like this earns a lot of points with a gym! The restaurant is convenient and the food is excellent! Highly recommended! P.S.: My favorite in the area!

07/09/2025: We ate at La Francigena Bolsena because of the good reviews. All guests were greeted with disrespect by the very bad-tempered waitress. At first, we thought the waitress was only being like that to us, but as the evening progressed, we realized that she treated everyone else badly. The restaurant is actually beautifully located in an alleyway with a great atmosphere. The menu, drinks, salt, pepper, and food were slammed onto the table without the waitress even looking at us. At the next table, an Italian tried to get vinegar for his salad, but the waitress simply ignored him. The food is at the level of a chip shop, and the pizza is one of the worst in all of Bolsena. I don't understand the positive reviews. My recommendation: go somewhere else.

18/10/2025: Those who read my reviews know very well that I share exactly what I experience firsthand (without making concessions, as they say). Well, PIZZA CAPITALE was a real surprise. I consider places that serve food quite ordinary these days. Pizza Capitale is special. The extreme courtesy with which you are welcomed (by Eleonora, whose name a colleague told me towards the end of the evening) is truly kind and professional. And all the staff: they make you feel unique, important. A small misunderstanding, without any complaints on our part (there were three of us), produced a second pizza for free (even though I had already finished mine). Everyone was courteous in a lovely setting. After an experience like this, how can I speak about the quality of the food, which in my opinion, is very good, but it definitely takes a back seat (many can make a good pizza, but valuing the customer who is destined to eat it is, believe me, a very rare thing). In other words, even though I live very far away, on my business trips to the capital, I will always have to return.

31/08/2025: There were three of us inside; the wait staff was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, we ended up at a table where we were back-to-back with others, a bit cramped. We ordered mozzarella balls and Ascolana olives, which were delicious, followed by zucchini flowers and a cod fillet, a bit industrial but good. Next, a buffalo pizza, a margherita, and a Bismark pintxo with mixed vegetables. After about 50 minutes, the sandwich arrived, forcing me to eat alone. After another 10 minutes, the pizzas arrived. Unfortunately, we didn't like the pizzas; the tomato was raw and the mozzarella was unevenly distributed, but the dough was good, light, and crispy. The pintxo was good, well-filled, although the egg inside arrived broken, dripping all over the plate. The vegetables were bland and lacking in salt (maybe I should have ordered the condiments separately), the eggplant was mushy and poorly grilled, but the peppers and zucchini were good. Maybe we just had the wrong night, but it's hard to believe all these mistakes; it almost seemed like there was no chef/pizza chef.

09/10/2025: Pizzeria La Rosetta in Alatri is an institution! Located at the foot of the fabulous polygonal walls, it was the first pizzeria to offer authentic Neapolitan pizza years ago! Today, it upholds this tradition! The pizza is very good and very easy to digest!! Something that certainly cannot be underestimated! The fried foods are also excellent, and, to top it all off, the amazing pizza with Nutella! The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service efficient, and the staff very friendly! It's definitely worth a visit, even for the most discerning customers!

17/10/2025: Lovely little traditional restaurant located in Roma - Piazza d'Ara Coeli where the food is delicious and you can taste the love. Family owned and operated, and they are actually happy to see you and provide friendly efficient service. The food was amazing, best we had in Rome. So good we went back. Very highly recommended.
