Popina Trattoria In Roma

Popina is a very nice place where we had a nice lunch with some friends on Sunday! The food is excellent in quality and set up really well, we tried different starters, first courses, some second courses and desserts. Fast and friendly service, very nice and not noisy environment, absolutely normal prices. I highly recommend it

Succulent first courses, breaded chicory with exceptional anchovy cream, less good second courses and desserts, excellent service and hospitality. A little expensive but worth it.

Trattoria with excellent contemporary cuisine

The food is not bad, but I don't find it pleasant to have to have lunch in the sun even inside the restaurant as there is nothing to protect the main window. Furthermore, the last time we waited a long time and the answer we were given was that, as we could see, the tables were all occupied and therefore there were technical times for the kitchens. I would have liked to answer that if the kitchen fails To guarantee a speedy service, perhaps the number of seats should be reduced, I think this is obvious.

A good place and good food, shame about too much confusion even being small...

I went on Saturday for lunch following a suggestion from my sister. What can I say, a wonderful surprise, a very welcoming place, the staff were all very kind and competent. And the food is a real marvel, absolutely recommended, I have already spoken word of mouth. Well done

Attirati dalle ottime recensioni e dai commenti positivi di altri amici, abbiamo deciso di provare questa trattoria. Il locale dà una bella impressione, pulito, carino e con cucina a vista. Servizio molto gentile ed attento, su quello nulla da eccepire. Il cibo però non mi ha pienamente convinto. Ho trovato molto buone le puntarelle pastellate, ma devo dire che abbiamo trovato diversi secondi molto salati e poco diversificati come sapori. Questo perché in 3 diversi secondi, di carne e pesce, c'era la stessa salsa, e già questo mi ha lasciato un po' perplesso. Salsa che abbiamo appunto trovato salata. Forse un pochino eccessivo anche l'uso del peperoncino. Non entusiasmanti nemmeno i bignè, buona la cheesecake. Ad ogni modo non ho trovato un qualcosa che mi abbia incuriosito a tornare per provare altro, magari i primi. Conto onesto.

Cucina romana classica ma anche rivisitata, di quelle che ricordi e che vuoi tornare a gustare. Servizio disponibile. Prezzi non da trattoria, ma ne vale la pena.
