27/07/2025: We stopped by today on our way to Valcellina. We grabbed a quick sandwich with a beer. Excellent ingredients and excellent service. We then approached the refrigerated counter, where the assistance of the lady who looked after us was crucial in choosing the most appetizing local products. Her recommendations were all professional and enthusiastic. Our compliments to the lady and the entire staff. This is our third visit, and the review you're reading is a testament to our satisfaction.

04/08/2025: Typical regional cuisine... like it used to be

24/08/2025: We arrived with solid and usual expectations, but found the service to be very superficial and inattentive. The menu was unclear from a seasonal perspective, and pizzas with non-seasonal ingredients were verbally informed upon request that the product, which was rightfully out of season, was out of stock. Perhaps I would add asterisks to reflect seasonality. Two of the four pizzas had been modified due to a change from one vegetable to another without any additions to the pizza. However, when it came to the bill, the wording "additional ingredients" was added, and we found ourselves charged a surcharge even though we hadn't added anything to the pizza. In fact, the waitress herself insisted on having the ingredients SUBSTITUTED. When the pizzas arrived, one out of three was incorrect. Ingredients were missing from the pizza's complete composition, and they hadn't even made the pizza and then actually chosen it. However, we obviously paid for everything as if it had been a success! What a shame!

08/07/2025: We were there this evening after hearing about it for a long time. I have to say it was a wonderful discovery❤️ I'll start with the reservation made online, very fast and easy to do, because it is perfectly explained in every detail. They give you the opportunity to make some special requests, I asked for a table near the games and so it was. We arrived a little before the reservation and they seated us immediately anyway. The staff is very kind, it is rare to still find young people with a smile and so helpful. In the room there were two girls and a boy who were really pleasant. Thanks again. The children's menu is brought immediately to the table, so the children can eat immediately. Which is very much appreciated. In the meantime my husband and I had an aperitif and scanned the QR code to consult the menu. We had two pizzas. A Campana (eggplant, burrata and cherry tomatoes) and a sausage and broccoli rabe really good and very stuffed. In the meantime the little girl was able to play in the play area really well stocked but importantly clean. We arrived and two birthdays were ending and there were lots of children but despite everything the bathrooms and games were clean. The cotton candy machine was much appreciated. With a few euros you can choose the shape and color. Beautiful. At the end of the evening the girl also gave a balloon to her daughter, making sure she liked the color and inflated it on the spot. 17/08/2025: It reminds me a lot of the pizzerias I used to go to when I was little. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, you feel like you're at home. The staff is kind and helpful. The value for money is more than excellent. I'd happily go back.

15/08/2025: Pizzeria da Pippo – Pizza the way it should be in Italy Best pizza in a long time! We went there on a Saturday evening – without a reservation – and despite it being packed, mostly with locals, we still managed to get a seat. A typical Italian pizzeria with a cozy atmosphere. The "Momi" pizza was simply perfect: crispy crust, aromatic tomato sauce, fresh ingredients, and prepared with love. The desserts were also a dream – from panna cotta to tiramisu to crème brûlée, all homemade and delicious. A special shout-out to our super-friendly waitress, who looked after us warmly and attentively. The food here is cooked with passion and attention to quality – fresh, local ingredients make all the difference. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Osteria Antica Il Favri – a culinary insider tip in Italy We came on the recommendation of our hosts – and would probably have simply driven past, as the osteria looks rather unassuming from the outside. Only the many cars lining the street suggested that something special awaited us here. Without a reservation, we managed to get a seat on the terrace on a mild summer night. The menu is small, concise, and just the right size for focusing on the essentials. The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly committed to providing guests with a pleasant evening. The food: perfectly prepared, regional specialties cooked with love, using excellent, fresh, and homemade ingredients. Every course was a delight – authentic and genuine. A heartfelt thank you to the hosts for this wonderful evening. I would recommend it anytime and without reservation!

30/07/2025: ottimo ristorante scoperto per caso: pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato. le sardine fritte erano squisite! come tutti i piatti che abbiamo gustato (cannolicchi, tortelli ripieni di crostacei super, mezzemaniche al tonno e seppie grigliate) ; anche il vino bianco sfuso era di ottima qualità! gentilissimo il padrone di casa e lo staff. torneremo sicuramente a cenare da voi quando torniamo nella bella FVG.

11/07/2025: We stayed at Ciasa de Gaja for 5 nights. I would like to write a review for this hotel. We actually had a very nice few days there. The area is beautiful, with many shops and very friendly people. The restaurants in this area are very diverse and there is something for everyone. Now I would like to write a few lines about the hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked very well. We slept well in bed; it was relatively quiet in the hotel. The hotel has a wonderful garden with very good parking spaces. At night, the courtyard/garden is closed off by a large gate. > Great! The hotel has a pool in the courtyard for hot days. The breakfast was okay; we're not picky eaters, but a bit more variety, or with vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, etc.), would have been good for sausage and cheese eaters. The breakfast is very dry. The coffee was very good and made fresh to order. On Sunday, there was only stale white bread.... I can't understand why the hotel's Google rating says 4 stars, but the website says 3 stars.... Isn't the hotel responsible for ensuring that the correct information isn't misleading... It's difficult to relax in the pool area. With the cameras and people constantly moving around, it's hard to find peace and quiet in the courtyard, and you feel a bit like you're being watched. Warning: No-Go! The hotel has a restaurant that closes one day. On Saturdays and Sundays, the hotel is open for lunch, and on other days, apart from the closing day, the restaurant is only open for dinner. On Sundays, the restaurant is only open for lunch. This means that hotel guests staying at the pool won't be able to get anything to drink outside of the restaurant's opening hours! When we asked the receptionist for a bottle of wine and a bottle of water, the lady at the reception had to ask if she could give us something? ``` Then they would say she's still waiting for information about who should/may/will take care of our order... She's not allowed to! Hours passed, and unfortunately, we didn't get anything to drink in the 30-degree afternoon heat. They simply sat there and said, "What hotel doesn't want to sell drinks to hotel guests during the day?"... I don't know of any. Sorry, that's not possible, dear Ciasa De Gaja.
