06/10/2025: Excellent service, exceptional kindness and friendliness, they found us a table even though the place was packed and we hadn't booked. Their homemade prosciutto was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. We tried the fantastic Alberti 1906 dish, a regular dish, and then... another regular dish, and another. I would have gone on for a bit longer, but we had to go home. In any case, as soon as we have the chance, we'll be back to enjoy that delicacy. Highly recommended. Go without hesitation, you won't regret it.

07/08/2025: We came because of the great reviews and we fully agree. The place is super nice, authentic Italian cafe experience. No problem with speaking English and welcoming foreigners. Definitely recommend to come for the "cappuccino & croissant" breakfast.

It's not impossible, but it's the kind of mission that earns you dinner. In the end, when you walk in, you feel like a hero who's conquered the relic. ATMOSPHERE The place isn't big, and that's a good thing. Because every detail seems designed with the precision of a Japanese calligrapher. Just the right lighting, thoughtful furnishings, no excess. Picturesque on the outside, bright on the inside: in the summer, the outdoor tables seem already taken by the cheerful chatter you can't wait to hear. THE MENU Not vegan? It doesn't matter. Here, the kitchen doesn't ask you for party membership, it simply knocks you out. The dishes don't try to "imitate" the carnivorous tradition, but challenge it to a duel. And they often win. You can choose a guided tour, like in a gastronomic theme park where each stop is a surprise you'd never imagine ordering alone. LOTS OF SMOKE AND... A TWIST The signature dish is this: "Lots of smoke and no roast." A name that seems designed to mock you, but it throws you off at the first bite. It looks like meat. It smells like meat. It fools you like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Except here, there's no rabbit... there. 12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.

07/09/2025: Perfect sandwich! When I go to Lignano and then realize it's Monday (closed day), it's never a perfect day! IL PANINO A MODO TUO is in the best location. The decor isn't exactly my taste, but it's very welcoming and humble, which is always appreciated. The place is always very clean! And what about the sandwiches? Delicious, super fresh. The guys are always the best! Fresh, professional, and friendly.

07/09/2025: A hearty and generously filled sandwich (€9.50). There are some "classics" that can be modified, but you can also build your own sandwich from a variety of options that I found to be of good quality. No table service, just a stone's throw from the beach (literally). The restaurant and restrooms are clean, even after hours.

30/08/2025: Good sandwiches, friendly staff, casual and pleasant atmosphere! For dessert: The cream puffs were good, but the Sachertorte wasn't the best and definitely too expensive! Recommended for a stop! 🌼

21/09/2025: Everything was great, from the communication during the reservation, the service during dinner and the kindness of the staff. The food is for every recommendation, and the menu changes depending on the season. The menu is made up of typical dishes for that region. Parking is public in the nearby streets or in a public garage a few minutes walk away. Reservations are recommended. If you are in Trieste, definitely visit :)

20/09/2025: Fresh fish and plenty of variety. We tried the mixed gratin and the mantis shrimp (amazing). Two first courses, one of which was the calamarata: spectacular. We didn't order dessert, but only because we ran out of strudel. Fair prices. Thank you.
