10/07/2025: We had a delicious gelato here during our visit to the beautiful town of Castell'Arquato. The ice cream parlor is tucked away along Via Sforza Caolzio. A very friendly young woman helped us and we struck up a conversation in Italian. She also gave us a tip on where we could eat that evening with live music and a beautiful view. That's how we ended up in Vernasca, where we had a wonderful evening. In short, we love Baiocc Gelato Lovers for the excellent service...and did I mention the gelato is delicious?!

02/07/2025: This out of the way pizzeria is excellent. They obviously have committed themselves to crafting amazing pizza. Excellent dough is the foundation for every good pizza. Theirs is crafted with high quality flour and patience. The other ingredients are also of the highest quality. Ours were then prepared with attention to detail and perfectly baked. Well done!

20/06/2025: We ate there twice. The owner is an incredibly personable man, extremely friendly and dedicated. He opened his restaurant on his day off especially for us (unbelievable). The food is truly unique and very authentic. Considering the quality of the cuisine, the prices are almost ridiculous. We went there once with four people (full menu: starter, main course, dessert, and wine) for €120.
I will definitely be back and would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for everything.

02/06/2025: La trattoria Primavera è l' ottimo approdo, per rinfrancarsi dopo una camminata nella tranquillità delle verdi colline, magari preceduta da un giretto in uno degli antichi borghi medievali dei dintorni ...Vigoleno o Castell'Arquato... oppure dopo una visita alla bellissima abbazia di Chiaravalle della Colomba, a valle.
Luoghi che vi sorprenderanno per l' armonia...la stessa armonia che troverete a cena, assaporando i piatti della tradizione locale!
E che dire dell' ottimo Monterosso?!? Solo 👏👏👏
31/05/2025: We had dinner at this place, a simple setting with a beautiful view of the vineyards at sunset, very kind and attentive staff but the real added value are the dishes... from appetizers to desserts, all exquisite, prepared with care and culinary wisdom, strictly homemade pasta, sauces so tasty that you can lick your lips and mop up the sauce. Wine of own production, just the right portions, quality raw materials and a decidedly honest price.
Well done everyone!!!
If you love good food this is the right place.

23/06/2025: Disappointing experience. Definitely too expensive (!!!) for what it offers: mediocre and not very abundant dishes. The spaghetti with clams, for example, were dry and calloused, the clams rubbery; I finished the dish with difficulty. The choice on the menu is very limited. The wines are the only positive note and also the internal environment of the place which is very nice and welcoming. But appearances are deceiving.
22/06/2025: The quality of the dishes is decidedly mediocre and does not justify such high prices!
For €15 we only had a few slices of culatello (keeping in mind that everywhere else, spending less, you can have rich platters...)
The spaghetti with clams are to be forgotten.
Only the wine is worth it.
Disappointing experience.

08/06/2025: I would have given two stars for the worst granita of my last 10 years (pure ice with syrup added, without anyone even bothering to mix it to try to hide the preparation method). But I give only one star for the rudeness of the staff who, when I asked about the taste of my granita (which didn't even remotely know the flavor I had ordered), rudely replied that they don't drink granita, they only drink gin and tonic. I strongly advise against it, even if maybe they make gin and tonic better than granitas, since that seems to be the only thing the owners drink.

10/05/2025: Cena superba, locale bello, ci siamo tornati dopo tre anni e la qualità è la stessa. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusta. Peccato che una bottiglietta di Coca-cola da 250 ml me l abbiano fatta pagare 3,50. Come sciupare l immagine di un locale
