05/05/2025: We've been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years - usually at the end of a few weeks stay in this lovely part of Italy.
The food is always perfect. Today we had a variety of starters - salumi misti (Terremorto di Nebbia), vellutata di asparagi and flan di zucchine.
This was followed by guanchialino di maiale and roasted faroana alla creta. We finished with semifreddo al torroncino and tarte tartin di mele.
The service is relaxed and friendly, the restaurant itself has timeless charm and a lovely ambience.
Hope we can keep returning to enjoy this very special restaurant.

04/05/2025: I never thought I'd find such delicious ice cream in these parts... entered by pure chance and left with two filled brioches... excellent! the only complaint is perhaps the price...a little high...but the quality is evident ;) highly recommended!!

Per quanto riguarda il cibo siamo un pò nella norma di un locale turistico.
03/05/2025: Ottima esperienza! Dopo aver provato il ristorante la prima sera del nostro week end tra i castelli piacentini, abbiamo subito prenotato per il giorno successivo. Grandissima attenzione alla celiachia, con piatti senza glutine tipici e segnalati sul menu. Ottimi vini, conto corretto. E, infine, grande merito al servizio, ragazzi giovani, preparati e davvero cordiali. Molto consigliato!

31/05/2025: We had dinner at this place, a simple setting with a beautiful view of the vineyards at sunset, very kind and attentive staff but the real added value are the dishes... from appetizers to desserts, all exquisite, prepared with care and culinary wisdom, strictly homemade pasta, sauces so tasty that you can lick your lips and mop up the sauce. Wine of own production, just the right portions, quality raw materials and a decidedly honest price.
Well done everyone!!!
If you love good food this is the right place.

We went to Ristorante Del Voltone with a group of 11 people and the experience was simply impeccable. The raw materials are exceptional and very fresh, enhanced by a cuisine that respects and enhances the flavors with great skill. Each dish was a discovery of taste and quality.
The environment is cared for down to the smallest detail, elegant but welcoming, perfect for a special evening. The staff was efficient, attentive and professional, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile.
A restaurant that truly deserves top marks! We will definitely be back.

27/05/2025: Delightful restaurant in Castell’arquato.
Seated outside on a Saturday evening as it was fully booked inside.
Good selection of pizzas as well as primi and secondi piatti.
My Diavolo pizza was delicious.
Others had Tagliata di manzo al rosmarino and were very pleased.
The vino casa Rosso was lovely too. Service was good even with a full house inside
Highly recommend.

05/11/2024: The cutting boards, complete with "chisolini" (elsewhere called fried gnocchi") are complete and of excellent quality and the wine is good.
Just don't let yourself be influenced by the absence of service (by choice, not by inefficiency), by the lack of at least one paper plate to lean on and by the presentation of the wine which, for those who don't take the whole bottle, is served in very undignified containers (see photo, very humble glass jugs would suffice).
I definitely recommend it to anyone who isn't impressed by these secondary details.
PS: forget about any type of coffee (a machine with capsules/pods would have been enough).
02/11/2024: Sono stata oggi in questo locale, ordinato due taglieri, qualità buona, ma la maleducazione regna sovrana!
Ho chiesto un cestino di pane in più e sembrava avessi chieste dei diamanti, considerando che ho speso 62 euro per due taglieri e due acque.
Finito il pasto chiedo di potere usufruire della toilette e la ragazza mi dice che non ce l'hanno, cosa non vera in quando obbligo per legge avere il bagno in qualsiasi locale pubblico.
Quindi ricapitolando, prodotti buoni, atteggiamento verso la clientela pessimo!

10/05/2025: Cena superba, locale bello, ci siamo tornati dopo tre anni e la qualità è la stessa. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusta. Peccato che una bottiglietta di Coca-cola da 250 ml me l abbiano fatta pagare 3,50. Come sciupare l immagine di un locale
