30/11/2025: Excellent food, top-quality across all courses: appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts. Very polite and helpful service. The atmosphere is a bit basic, but that's completely outweighed by the delicious food. The price is reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended for a feast of Romagna specialties!
15/11/2025: This trattoria was recommended to us, and we set out from Bologna to try it. We were completely satisfied. Everything was delicious.
We had polenta with soft cheese...fantastic...three first courses...all delicious...Florentine steak and potatoes...all excellent and generous portions. To finish, coffee and dessert...my favorite was the panna cotta...the portion is very large...it's enough to satisfy your cravings!!!

16/12/2025: Work dinner with colleagues... Excellent welcome, very kind waitress who greeted us with great warmth and kindness. DELICIOUS pizza... excellent Caprese dessert recommended by the waitress... thanks for the lovely evening... a place to remember.
15/12/2025: I'm sorry, but the pizza was super disappointing. It was chewy and very thin in the center, all the toppings fell off, and it was too wet.
The pizzas were better at the old location.

15/12/2025: Given that we went on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, when there were a huge crowd from Grazzano Visconti, the workload was considerable, and some items must have run out, there's no excuse for the dishes not matching the description on the menu and the waitress's verbal remark when ordering: the meat was supposed to be baked, but it was stewed; the polenta was supposed to be served, but it was mashed potatoes; the tiramisu was supposed to be served, but it was a simple mascarpone cream. When paying, we mentioned all of this, but the owner didn't bat an eyelid. An apology would have been enough!

For dessert, I'd say their gelato is a must, but they also have other options.

I found the staff to be courteous and knowledgeable.
The food was in line with the prices; I must say I found the dishes to be of good quality.

07/12/2025: A bar/inn like the ones of old. I went for lunch and couldn't choose from the menu (à la carte), so I had to choose from the options offered by the waitress. The portions were generous and tasty, with a good quality/price ratio.
05/12/2025: The cured meats with fried gnocco are delicious. The first and second courses are also good, and the desserts are excellent. Friendly and helpful staff, and the prices are reasonable... I'll definitely return and recommend it.

24/11/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever.
I can't wait to return.
22/11/2025: We visited Bologna in October 2025 and stayed at a great Airbnb just one block from the train station. Within a four block semi circle from that location were some terrific restaurants, not touristy, local, and walkable. La Nuova Fraschetta was one of our favorites and we returned there for another dinner. The bruschetta was perfect, the ragu one of the best, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place.
