16/08/2026: Review Unfortunately, our experience at Il Garum Pizzeria in Bacoli was rather disappointing. There were seven of us, and we encountered several problems, starting with the service, which was very slow: the pizzas didn't all arrive at the same time, and we had to wait a long time. Even the water arrived hot, and despite the very hot evening, the air conditioning seemed practically non-existent. As for the pizza, we ordered the "Mezza Luna," which, according to the description, was supposed to be half Margherita and half stuffed. In reality, we received a pizza with one half Margherita and the other simply folded over: the filling was practically non-existent and lacked the ingredients we expected. More than a true stuffed crescent, it seemed like a makeshift pasta dish. The plate of ravioli my son ordered, costing €15, also left us perplexed: they only delivered five ravioli, so about €3 per ravioli, a quantity we found decidedly excessive for the price. Ultimately, considering the prices, quality of the dishes, quantity, and service, we expected much more. It's a shame, because the location and potential are there, but our experience didn't live up to our expectations.

31/07/2026: Very nice and well-maintained location. Good service and good food. The only complaint is the prices, unreasonably a bit above average—let's say, "touristy." I often dine in the surrounding area at nearby restaurants. We paid €50 each, but a fair price could easily have been around €40.

23/05/2026: Four of us had dinner at this splendid location, with a truly refined atmosphere and impeccable table setting. A huge plus, considering the area, is the private parking, a real plus that makes arrival completely stress-free. Since it was a dinner, we opted directly for the main course with sides. I had the anglerfish with red onion in two textures, a truly remarkable dish. For the side dish, we chose sautéed vegetables: they were cooked perfectly (they remained pleasantly crunchy) and the oriental note provided by the hint of sesame oil was very interesting. The meal's conclusion deserves a special mention. We ordered a strudel served with cinnamon cream and apple cider, delicious. But the real surprise was the generosity of the kitchen, which treated us to exceptional off-menu treats: a delicious portion of Sicilian brioche with almond granita (worthy of applause) and delicious almond and chocolate pastries. The ingredients are of the highest quality and the service is attentive, courteous, and professional. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended! The playlist selection is wonderful!!!

31/05/2026: Unfortunately, and I'm very sorry to say this, the place is perfect for me, but the service and food lately have been really poor, both in quantity and above all in quality... mediocre appetizers and meat, better not to talk about them.

19/07/2026: Excellent experience, family and welcoming atmosphere, very polite and helpful staff, good food and excellent beer, yesterday at the beer festival there was also a musical evening where a singer-songwriter performed and his music brightened up the evening... We will definitely be back

21/07/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The evening was made unpleasant by the presence of countless mosquitoes, which made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful dinner. Furthermore, we waited about an hour and twenty minutes for our pizzas and quite a long time even just to order a drink. I understand that there can be busy times, but such a long wait, without proper organization, is truly excessive. It would probably be necessary to hire more staff, especially during peak periods, to ensure faster and more efficient service. I hope these aspects are improved, because so far the overall experience has been decidedly negative.

21/06/2026: I think this is a part of the restaurant that's best avoided for meat or main courses. After ordering a tagliata and waiting almost an hour, a lump of concrete arrived, cooked incorrectly, and the baked potatoes were dripping with oil. If you don't have the desire or ability to prepare certain dishes, it's best not to offer them.

04/02/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the service, courtesy, and speed, as well as the good food. Everything was good, but there was one small surprise: the grilled bluefish I ordered was much more like sea bass...😀😉 But it's still good...🙂 I recommend booking given the crowds, especially on Sunday lunchtime.

01/02/2026: We were in Bacoli for an art exhibition and it was late for lunch. The staff were kind, genuine, and helpful; they welcomed us almost closing time with care and practicality. The fish was fresh and authentic, delicious yet simple to prepare. The chef and staff are worthy of special mention; the waiter, Enzo, took special care of our table. We'll be back!
