24/11/2025: I'd call it a decoy: a beautiful venue and excellent hospitality couldn't resist the harsh reality: two glasses of champagne, supposedly "free," ended up on the bill at €15 each. For starters, we'd asked for two separate dishes, and they decided, at their discretion, to let us share them. We noticed that the size was significantly smaller than what other customers had shown in their photos. Tagliolini with carabineros shrimp was served, more than al dente, I'd say raw. Finally, we found a €25 service charge on the bill. Service for what? We definitely won't be returning.

25/08/2025: Perfect restaurant for celiacs and non-celiacs alike! The food is excellent and the service is superb, so it's our regular stop whenever the opportunity arises. Many thanks to Vincenzo and all the staff for the warm welcome; we can't wait to return!

23/08/2025: I've been coming here every summer since 2014, and it has never disappointed us. We came again this year, as is now our custom. The menu is always precise and perfectly reflects the dishes. The wine list is extensive, featuring local wines. The Fiano di Pioppi is excellent, with notes of yellow fruit, apple, banana, and a distinct savory flavor. For our main courses, we had excellent raw appetizers (I recommend the anchovies and prawns) and exceptional fish meatballs with a unique crispy exterior. For our first course, we had a seafood Genovese, and the second course was the catch of the day with fish tempura. All the desserts were delicious, including tiramisu and fruit tartlets...all well-made. The staff were very helpful, the table service was excellent, with attention to detail, and the wine was well-served and always chilled. The bread was varied, all homemade. Highly recommended!

02/11/2025: A breathtaking view that's well worth the trip, simple cuisine, good ingredients, and attentive service—perfect for a peaceful escape from the Neapolitan cacophony. A few minor details could be improved: some glassware had a few limescale stains, and the background music from the dining room disturbed the overall tranquility, but everything else was excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for couples.

30/10/2025: A wonderful spot high above the rooftops of Naples. The terrace is breathtaking – at any time of day: enjoying breakfast in the golden morning light, an aperitivo in the evening glow, or dessert under the stars. The view of the city, the sea, and Mount Vesuvius is unforgettable. The food is superb – delicately composed, yet with genuine Neapolitan heart. You can taste the attention to detail, the freshness of the ingredients, and the passion in the kitchen. The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly enjoys their work. A special thank you to Chef Vincenzo Stingone and the entire service team, including Francesco Paparo, Antonio Benvenuti, and Salvatore Marano – this photo reminds me of a moment filled with warmth, flavor, and joie de vivre. I will definitely be back. A place you'll want to return to – La Terrazza dei Barbanti is pure Neapolitan hospitality with a view.

05/05/2025: Nous n’écrivons que rarement des commentaires sur nos expériences de voyage mais dans ce cas-ci, après y être allés trois fois en 9 jours à Salerne, ça valait la peine. D’abord, il ne faut pas se laisser berner par le mot taverne, il s’agit en fait d’un très beau restaurant, et d’une véritable caverne d’Ali Baba, de vins, d’apéritifs et de digestif. L’accueil du couple de proprios est remarquablement chaleureux. Nous avons goûté, différents antipasti, des plats de pâtes, et également des plats principaux, tous préparés avec des ingrédients frais et délicieux. La nourriture est excellente et l’accord avec les vins était parfait. Le proprio est également commerçant en vin, si bien que nous lui avons acheté quelques bonnes bouteilles. Définitivement à essayer!

02/11/2025: Kudos to Giuseppe, a brilliant waiter, on point, always ready to accommodate the customer's needs (he even gave me a kiss, in addition to offering me a spritz!!!) Otherwise... everything was fine, but the food for the aperitif could be a bit more expensive. Hi Giuseppe... a kiss.

19/11/2025: I visited this pastry shop with three other friends during a five-day mini-vacation in Naples. Highly recommended breakfast, fresh pastries, good coffee, friendly, professional, and above all very kind baristas—truly good people, including the gentleman at the cashier. If we were to return to Naples, this would be the first place we'd go. Thank you so much for everything.

09/11/2025: I tried the Neapolitan "baba" with rum here. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I could tell that all the baked goods in the place were good and fresh.

29/06/2025: We came across this shop by chance while walking around at random, and as soon as we saw some local grandmas entering to buy food we knew this place was a must-try, and we were absolutely right. The quality of all the baked food you will find here is insane. Also the guy that works there (I believe his name was Mariano) was lovely. We talked with him for a while and at the end he gifted us some crocchette di patate because he liked us 😂 The frittatine di pasta from this place are incredible, you must try them. We also had the parigina and some spinach pastry, all of them delicious. The prices are extremely cheap too, a really local shop not yet contaminated by tourism. Definitely a recommended place to buy some high-quality and freshly-made baked goods!

The dishes are tasty and created with passion, everything is exquisite, and the staff is always very professional and courteous. Giusy is excellent and always available to help customers. 15/11/2025: The experience at Molpè was excellent! Good quality food, courteous and attentive service. The location retains the ceremonial style of years gone by and offers an exceptional view of the Phlegraean Fields. Fresh fish, delicious first courses accompanied by excellent local wines. The desserts were delicious, many of which were homemade. Recommended!
