19/12/2025: A pearl inside an oyster, that's how I'd describe Nia. Dinner at a table overlooking the kitchen, watching the chef at work, and chatting together made the evening even more enjoyable. Describing flavors that blend together in a Campanian-Japanese fusion seems reductive. Nothing is left to chance. A special mention goes to the ravioli, closed like culurgiones by the expert hands of the Sardinian lady, which deserved to be mopped up. The dessert, cream with cherry tomato jam and chocolate powder, was worthy of a second helping. Thank you for a delightful evening.

07/01/2026: The restaurant is well-maintained and meticulously maintained, from the exterior to the table linens, making you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, very professional, and discreet in serving dishes that are nothing short of exceptional (see photos). The seafood appetizer is a must: prepared with ingredients of undisputed quality. The shrimp and citrus risotto is also excellent: it's worth mopping up the sauce! Recommended

13/02/2026: I've known this place forever, yet I'd only eaten there once, a long time ago. Today I'm back with great pleasure. The food is excellent. The artichokes alla giudia are excellent when in season...I've only eaten them this good in Rome. The puntarelle are delicious, the best ever. And then there are many other things that are good. There's a good selection of wines and the price is more than reasonable. The staff are very kind and professional. From now on, we'll be back as soon as we can.

12/02/2026: I dined at the Elena restaurant in Aprilia, a typically Roman/Romanesque-style establishment, welcoming and unfussy, where you immediately feel a family atmosphere. The quality of the dishes is excellent: I tried the Roman-style tripe, flavorful and well-cooked, and the grilled octopus, tender and perfectly cooked. Good ingredients and satisfying portions. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. It's also easy to get to. Recommended for those seeking authentic Roman cuisine 👍

20/02/2026: A good restaurant serving both meat and seafood dishes, with rustic yet friendly and efficient service. We arrived early and were served in a reasonable amount of time, but after a while the place filled up and they struggled a bit. The gnocchi with ragù were very good, with various pieces of meat, served in a small pan, and the ziti alla Genovese, grated with the classic grater, were also good, and even had a little meat, which isn't always available elsewhere. The homemade croquettes were decent. The desserts weren't homemade, but they chose the pastry very well: the lemon delicacy was better than some we've had on the Amalfi Coast, and the cheesecake was also good. The only downside was the croquettes, which were listed as €5.50 and were actually a full-sized. In any case, for what was quoted plus a bottle of mineral water, it was about €45, which I'd say was more than fair. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area; we also saw some lovely seafood dishes, which we'll try on a future occasion.

16/02/2026: On Carnival Sunday, we went to lunch at Orlando in Rotondi, following a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is spacious, the ambiance is simple, and the service was excellent. The first courses were delicious, both the ziti alla genovese and the gnocchi with sauce, enriched with meatballs, pork rinds, and tarachelle. The "padellaccia," a pork stew with potatoes and pickled peppers, a typical winter dish from the Avellino area, was flavorful and generous. The desserts were delicious, creamy and delicate. The bill was in line with the service.

20/10/2025: I know the restaurant very well, where I've been for several weddings over the years, but Il Saraceno is always a guarantee and an attention to tradition. On Saturday, I was a guest at a friend's wedding, and everything was impeccable. The rooms were beautiful and unchanged over time, full of memories and wonderful days. The food is always a guarantee. They go over everything and the service is excellent. The facility is well-maintained and has remained unchanged over time. We had a wonderful day. Congratulations from the newlyweds, the facility, and the staff. A guarantee in everything.

28/06/2025: We had my daughter's baptism in June, everything was perfect from the lunch to the room, the staff was very attentive to details and to the guests present, and the prices were very fair.

26/10/2025: We've been coming to Cilento for twenty years and had never been to Tequila Bistrot. The restaurant is a hidden gem; you first have to negotiate a dark, unlit road to reach it and hope not to be surprised by wild boars crossing the road. The owner was already waiting for us when we arrived at the restaurant and was very friendly and hospitable, telling us fascinating stories about the places where he lived and worked. The dishes are simple but tasty and reasonably priced. Recommended if you want to eat something different from Italian cuisine and experience cuisines from another continent. For me, it's important that the overall picture is harmonious—the service, the food, the price, and the location—and that was certainly the case here. I've added the address to my list of favorite restaurants in Cilento so I can return.

13/02/2026: [Why You Don't Have to Try It Just Once] I'll admit it straight away: I love this place. I'll say it right away so we can be clear and you know what to expect when you read the review... but there's something else you need to know. I don't know the owners, I'm not a friend of theirs, yet I feel the need to endorse them. In a copy-and-paste way, there's a restaurant feel to this place. We're not in a trattoria—even if the prices are in line (in my opinion, they should charge more!)—but we are in a restaurant where tradition is revisited with meticulous attention to detail. The chef is truly brilliant. He hasn't abandoned his roots and brings them to life in a transformation that feels like alchemy. You meet him and immediately fall in love with his cuisine. It's not just a teenage crush, but a love that takes time. Here you'll find everything you need to have a point of reference for life. Therefore, you don't HAVE to come here just once. It's not enough. You have a duty to experience it, to be pampered, and to understand that for them, every gesture is the result of careful study. It has become the restaurant for events for my law firm and my family. They don't even know it, but they are part of my world. And I don't know it because every time I make a reservation, I never show up. I've become a fan. The staff deserves special mention: courteous, patient, and constantly present, never invasive. I conclude by praising the restoration of an oil mill that exudes nostalgia, the kind that does you good and takes you back to the years when everything was authentic, to a world worth remembering. Thank you for not distorting your mission. Try it, more than once. You won't regret it. Word of a lover of good food.
